Help Beating Rafflesian In MMX:CM (Spoilers?)

Can anyone help me beat Rafflesian in Command Mission? I've tried the Bait+Hyper Mode trick with Axl, but it seems that they use SunBurst more often than I thought... BTW, I'm level 25 w/ X, Zero, Axl, Marino, 26 w/ Massimo,, and 23 w/ Cinnamon.[/spoil]

By your party's level, I think you attempted to fight her WAY too early.

Get Zero's Absolute Zero armor from Duckbill Mole (is that the enemy's name?). It enables you to perform humongous damage using quick and easy combos.

Azuregore and SR are correct. As you are now, your levels are far to low. Everyone should be at least lv.30. Or at least X, Zero, and Cinnamon, becuase that's who my strategy centers.

Equip Energy field to Cinnamon, Decoy to Zero, and X Heart to X. Make sure all of your Hyper Modes are full, make sure all of your Sub Tanks are as full as you can have them (considering you'll enter a lot of random battles), and carry as many Gain Hypers as you can (you can get these from the bats it Lagrano Island). And as Azure said, bring Zero's Absolute armor. It is highly recommended as it does great damage easily. And just for an added punch, I recommend getting your hands on Cinnamon's Kitty Paws (which can be bought by the girls Lagrano island).

1. As soon as you enter battle, have Cinnamon enter Hyper Mode so that she can resist powerful attacks without needing to guard. She should conscentrate on boosting everyone's WE with Energy field and healing. Heal with her Action Trigger when ever you can, if not then use the Sub tanks. When ever she reaches 70% or more use her Action Trigger AND Enegy Field.

2.Guard with X and Zero and do not attack until they Both reach 100% and all of your party members have a turn one-after-the other. If Raff or a Bell has a turn inbetween any of your party members, do NOT attack.

3. When condition 2 is met, strike Rafflesian with 100% Absolute Zero, 100% X-Fire X, and Cinnamon with her Kitty paws. You probably might not need Cinnamon's attack, but if she has a turn inbetween X and Zero's then it wouldn't hurt to have her attack Raff.

4. If you attack Raff with 100% Absolute Zero and 100% X-Fire X and she is not dead, then repeat step 2 and and try with 100% A-Zero, 100% X-Fire X, and Cinnamon with Kitty Paws. If she still isn't dead, then you may have to reset and boost you party member's attack power prior to your next battle with her.

5. If Raff does fall, then switch out X and Zero and then switch them back so that they can leave Hyper mode without cancelling it.

6. Repeat steps 1-3 for the Bells individually. Try to only use the Gain Hypers for Cinnamon. With X and Zero you just basically charge up WE, enter hyper mode and attack, and on their next turns each, switch tem out and switch them back in on the same turn to avoid using up Hyper Mode turns. Cinnamon needs to stay in Hyper mode so that she can concentrate on healing and boosting WE rather than gaurding.

Basically you just pound on them individually with 100% ATs and heal when necessary. I hope this helps.

I did this without the help of Absolute Zero and at level 36, all you really need is a strong Marino, Cinnamon, preferably Zero,nd a few gain hypers. This is a cheap strategy but it works, if you put Cinnamon in her hyper mode, don't attack, then when Marino's turn comes use her Hyper mode, then focus on hitting Raffelsian with a lot of attacks, if Marino's hyper mode is running low (wait til she has one turn left) use the gain hyper. With this staregy you should be able to pull off her action trigger every 3-4 turns. When Rafflesian is dead, focus on the minions one at a time. If all goes well you should win the fight with relative ease.

Where can I get Gain Hypers? I know what it is, but I can't buy them in shops. I don't have Item Steal anymore, though. I can now beat Rafflesian with ease, thanks to Absolute Zero and Aqua Rock X's guide, but how can I deal SUPER MASSIVE damage to the Belladonnas since they get stronger each attack?

Here's what I recommend to do. Beat the game first, So you can get Supra Force Metal Fragment B. Equipt it to X and buy at least 9 gain hypers. Use them mostly on Absolute Zero, since he's the most powerful currently. I recommend getting Cinnamon's Kitty Gloves. Equip Everyone with a Decoy Force Metal. At least 2 I would recommend, and except X since he's using the Supra Force Metal B. For X, just buy 9 Restores, in case X is defeated or any other enemy is taken down also. Now, when you get in the battle, Go all out on Rafflesian. Don't worry about the two lackies, they don't deal much heavy damage. After Rafflesian is defeated, I recommend using Absolute Zero's charge special at 100% at least 4 times, take out the remaining two enemies. They won't be much work. Hope that helps.

So you know, you can still steal items, you just need to be really good at Marino's slots, if you line up all treasure chests she'll steal the item and deal damage.

Marino hyper mode Mirage Drive. And quite a few Restore Hyper.

It's the only way to get rid of the Rafflesians. Don't forget that after you hit her, her stats will grow slightly!

Heh, while my mom was using the computer, I beat Rafflesian and her Belladonnas! I just used X-Fire, Absolute Zero, and QuickSilver. I was also Level 26-27 with my characters, too > Surprised

I just kept on rotating to maintain HP.
