Is it really that hard to memorize the usernames of your friends? Find their profile and click the small PM button, even? >_>

I second Zan... if they're really your "friends", I'm sure you can at least remember their nicknames. :P I don't think it's worth the work for Nobiyukikabuteri-whatever.

All I do when I meet a new friend is grab a piece of paper and write down their name.

when i lasted checked it was called PEN AND PAPER OR NOTEPAD! personally you don't need buddy lists on forums, and if it was an online games such as gunboud, then a buddy list would be needed. but here, my vote is no lists

ex:

you made my sig wanna be my friend?
you make sigs be my friend!
your fanart is cool be my friend!
i love your fanfics be my friend!
your soooo cool, be my friend!
you have 500 posts! be my friend!

the list goes on....
