Meiru & Yuriko? *Possible STREAM Spoilers*

Okay, from what I've seen and heard of Stream, it appears to me that the members of the two GBA teams either have Duo's Crest(Pride, Barrel), a Synchro Chip(Tesla), or both(Netto, Enzan, Raika). Which brings me to the conclusion that the two GBA teams will undoubtedly all be able to cross fuse and might all take part in whatever final battle the writers are coming up with.

This brings me to Meiru and Yuriko.

Yuriko has the ability to cross fuse and has so far been pretty active with it.

According to the rumors, Meiru will be getting the ability as of episode 28.

Seeing as how neither of these characters are members of the GBA teams, I can't help but wonder if they're being used to replace team members who may not be appearing in Stream as major characters.

Thoughts, anyone?

Well all of the EXE5 bosses are probably going to appear in Stream in time. But You may be on to something here.

Maybe they aren't following a system when giving out crests and synchro chips? We have to keep in mind that the japanese public probably has a sort of big impact on the story (Through surveys and junk). They might be doing all this to please everyone.

And as far as I know, Barrel has yet to recieve a Crest of Duo. You're jumping the gun, I believe. So it's too early to figure out connections yet. Maybe you should wait a bit before making your theories.

I still can't get my head around Tesla cross fusing. I have to see it to believe it.

Yeah, don't assume any patterns. Writers don't think like fans. I still think the Cross Fusion and Duo Crests are being given out independent of the character's role in the games.

Writers should not think like fans, because fans can have pretty lame ideas. Besides, I'd rather be possibly surprised. It would be boring if everything we expected to happen after two seconds of thought is exactly happens.

Good point. But don't sell some people short. There are some fans who have experience in writing, and you never know, maybe a fan could write a better script than a proffesional writer. I'm just saying it's possible.

Well yeah, there are definitely better plots for Stream than they're making, and I think there are people here capable of conceiving them, but most of the speculation I've been seeing around here so far isn't anything I'd like to see realized. Like the topic of this thread for instance. Do we really want to see such a predictable outcome? The team members of the game all Cross Fusioning and getting the Crest of Duo like some simple formula? I'd much rather see something that fewer people could come up with in just a few seconds after hearing the series premise.

This is why I usually refrain from speculation myself. I'd prefer to see something I couldn't possibly predict, so the exercise of predicting is pointless.
