Nintendo makes durable systems, that's just it. You can't easily break a gamecube because of the solid cube shape. I saw someone test the three systems on G4 tv with three tests. The (normal)PS2 messed up first then the xbox then the gamecube's cover was a little hard to put down but it was fine and it still worked well. So that's just it, the longest running company makes the most durable stuff. |

In the long run, durability doesn't matter much. It's great that Nintendo systems last longer, but no one wants to buy a system just for it's durability. They want to buy it for the games it has. If a console has no fun games, then it's not going to do well. |

Toto, Nintendo is all about games, it doesn't care about the side dishes. It's going for the main course, they don't want MP3's or movies playable on there consoles because they want to focus on what the players wanted to buy. |

Hands down for the DS. Come on people. The price of a PSP is way higher. The PSP can also surf the internet, take pictures, etc, but who really cares. Have any of you noticed that Sony has come out with about a million new add-ons for the PSP, well Nintendo has barely had anything. Well, Nintendo is holding back all their stuff and slowly releasing them. It's the exact opposite of what they did with the GBA. They came out with like a hundred for the GBA, but then for like the next 3 years only about 50 quality games came out. With the PSP, what you see is what you get, but with the DS, there still is much more to come. So the DS is way better for that reason and some much more. Wow, I get carried away. _________________

my ps2 fell like 3' and didn't even skip (yes it was on) and I droped my GC down a long set of stairs and it cracked a little bit but it's fine

Takato you probably have a freaking messed up N64 then if you just touch it. And of course if you drop a GC down a LONG set of stairs it's gonna be damaged. Try dropping your PS2 from the same set of stairs. See if it won't have a few marks. |

Heh, myself Im a Sony fan boy , I see a lot of potential in the PSP rather then Nintendo's DS. My friend recently got a PSP and after trying it out, I can see it's a great device. I mean able to take your MP3's or Movie files and save them to a Memory Stick and watch them on the road is great, nice to show off or keep you busy, i mean, shoot, watching Rockman.EXE on a PSP is nice
The games are top notch with beatiful graphics and the battery power on that thing lasts a long time, i'll love to see a Megaman game appear on the system in some form
However, myself, i doubt i'll get a PSP anytime soon, if anything I'll get a DS first....only reason.....the announcement of Megaman Battle Network DS of course _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

My favorite is the Nintendo DS because it can play both Gameboy Advance games and Nintendo DS games. _________________

I can barely shake the table on where my well-maintained N64 stands, to make the game freeze up, in that aspect, I hated carts, but the DS locks the cart all in to prevent freezing, so it really don't matter, does it? _________________ I suck! |

Absolutely. Every Nintendo handheld system has been designed to be backwards compatible--it can play games of all types of its predecessors. For example, I can whip out my GBA SP and play MMBN, Pokemon Red, and Tetris. Of course I cannot put a copy of WarioWare-Touched in it, but you get the picture. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Guys, dont get into a console argument, that's for another topic. But until then...
I'm sick and tired of hearing people saying that Nintendo's systems are the most durable. It's not a fact. For example, my friend's 'cube worked well (it was purchased 2 weeks after launch), sometimes a bit bad, but after he smacked his brother in the head with it and dropped it on the ground, it did not work. At all. And it has not worked since. Then there is his Xbox, which has worked wonders ever since launch day. He's stepped on it, tripped over it, and then some, and it's worked great. And as for the games, no question there, in terms of raw power and graphical capabilities. Same goes for the PS2. If you think that the 'cube has better games than the PS2, that's just your opinion, BUT, I'd like you to compare the best racing game on the 'cube to Gran Turismo 4... _________________
