VTN1.EXE ("Veten") is the result of a bored scientist's experiment: turning a virus program into a navi. Veten started existance as a simple Swordy virus. As such, in his navified self, he sticks to sword chips, both from preference and from lack of necessary buster programs. Veten wears a cloak to hide the fact that he has no legs.

Expect more VTN's to come along. I think I'll do a Metool next.

Then if there's loads of viruses turned into navi's, then wouldn't the net be overrun by navis other than the normally balanced navi and virus?
But that's a pretty good drawing, imagine him with no legs....certainly a crackup for me!

Unknown Neo, I know. My avatar is kinda what pushed me to make these navis.

RollEXE, I thought of that, too. I was trying to think of why the VTNs wouldn't attempt to transform their former fellows into navis like them. The overrunning of the internet with navis is the solution. The VTNs recognize the danger of such an action and thus won't do it.

The second product of the VtN (Virus to Navi) experiment, VTN2.EXE ("Metty") is a transformed Metool. Like Veten, Metty prefers to use chips similar to her former self's attacks (Shock/Sonic/Dyna/Big Wave, GutsMan 1/2/3, etc). She can generate a shield similar to Guard, as well.

First of all, very nice idea. ^_^ Now, comments on both of the pictures.

Veten, from what's visible, is a pretty good adaptation, though I'm curious to see what he looks like under the cloak. Metty's cute, and the pickax at the bottom is hilarious.

Veten with the cloak reminds me of Meta Knight :> Fufufu, Metty's really cute too. I'd love to wield that giant pickaxe!

Iceman.EXE, I gave Veten the cloak so I wouldn't have to think of what's underneath. Even I don't know what's within the cloak!

Unknown Neo, yeah, I make it a point to make a few female navis along with the males. The net is depressing in that aspect. Dating opportunities for guys are HORRIBLE.

Malik, I don't know what Meta Knight is. I just like the idea of the travelling cloaked swordsman.

And I agree, girls with disproportionate strength and massive melee weapons are cute. :V

The third navi created by the VtN experiment, VTN3.EXE ("Shroomz") was a Mushy. Shroomz gets his name from his rather unusual problem: he has four eyes, but his sensory programming can only process from two; if he has all four eyes (or even just three) open, his gets dizzy and can't see or think straight and acts like someone on, well, shrooms. He has no problem if he has one or two eyes open, though (and it doesn't matter which eyes).

Edit: might as well tell you about her. Razz

Maggi is the fourth VtN Navi, a metrid navi. It should be noted, Maggi does not have arms; those sleeves are empty. She can still hold things through minor telekinesis in the form of pseudo-arms. Despite her disarmed form, Maggi can still slap people with ends of her sleeves, or hold onto something or someone by wrapping her sleeves around and tying them.

Metty is cute. She looks somewhat scary carrying that huge pickaxe with a smile (like she is thinking of something bad with it).

Maggi reminds me of Final Fantasy's priest image. Of course, the Metrid virus looked like that to begin with.

No comments on the other two. They look fine as they are.

All in all, turning Virus into Navis is a nice idea. Keep it up, SamBarry :] .

What's next? Not sure. I'm thinking of doing another set of four, including a bunny, a spikey, and a shrimpy. I'm trying to think of a wood virus that will complete the four. Any suggestions?

You could do a Viney or whatever that TreeBomb virus was. ^_^; There aren't that many Wood viruses. XD

haven't decided yet. At the moment, I'd say they belong to the scientist who transformed them, but the have most of the freedom that solo navis have.
