| Well screw appearance. I'm well aware that's not a requirement for an EXE connection, but at least Magicman.exe still had a magic theme, at least Rush.exe was still a dog and supported somewhat, at least Colonel used a sword. Barrel's got nothin'. Kindly old scientist father figure vs. scruffy no-nonsense militaristic leader figure. |

There aparently was conflict when making Dingo, not even the STAFF knew whether to make him a Native American or an Australian Aboriginee
Laika is a musical instrument(without a musical disposition >.>)
Charlie is a Gundam Pilot(no, really, he's based on a Gundam character X_X)
Tesla is 30, but says she's 29

I dunno that for sure since a few of the words were "censored." I'm just pretty sure that one word said "Gundam." 'Course, I guess it coulda said.... Gunham. But I'd probably have to find someone who knows a but of stuff about Gundam to figure it out.
Maybe they were just joking, or he happened to look like a Gundam character but wasn't based on him. I think there'd be a legal issue if they actually based him on a Gundam character. |

barrel is new name of colonel? o.o;;; weird....
the colonel from X4 and this one looks pretty same. i got an anime clip of colonel and zero fighting a little... but there's no uploading options here.
if someone can tell me a easy way to upload them i will for u all to see. |

I ask because I am french and i like to talk with french megaman fan.
X serie characters would interresting for sure but only the one whose the the name isn't "element" + "animal". ex Storm Eagles. Sigma is unwished because he is too much powerful and i would take the place of Bass. Axl could be good because the Classic/exe serie don't have an equivalence (i mean Sigma work like bass, X would take the place of megaman... Axl not because there is no navi with copy ability).

That aside, I really don't think there is much ressemblance between the two Barrels. I think they just thought that Barrel would be the perfect name for Colonel's operator but then hit a snag when they realised they had already used the name Barrel in Legends. It could be a coincidence, because I don't see the ressemblance between the two.
JunkmanSP: What does the information of Laika, Dingo, Charlie and Tesla have to do with anything? Laika was the name of the first dog in space, so maybe he should be the operator of Rush.EXE. Tesla, by her name should suggest that she should be Springman.EXE's operator. Does it really matter if Charlie ressembles a Gundam pilot. And you've already used the Dingo reference, so...
After all, what's in a name?

Um, not to be mad or anything, but...
Does this even matter? MML Glyde and Glyde.exe have different personalities, yet they ARE the same guy. What I mean is that MML Glyde made a cameo in the EXE universe as Glyde.exe. Simple as that.
And besides, since we know that the guys who created the EXE games ARE the same ones that created the MML games, with these many "hints", something IS bound to come up. From my point of view, it's just one of their ways of reminding us fans that they still haven't forgotten Legends. It still has a special place deep in their hearts, as well as ours.
So...it's not that big of a deal.
I rest my case.

That's my fault. I was the one that brought up the EXE5 art museum at Capcom's site and shifted the topic a little towards discussing it. Then Josuke and Heatman went and translated some of the comments. So his post about the the character's names was only reporting some of the new information revealed by the notes in these comments.

Well, give him a break there, it's a joke. You can see the resemblance between a spring and tesla coils. He wasn't seriously presenting those comparisons. |
