Boktai *some spoilers included*

I've finished both games and I liked it very much. So far i've gotten everything in Boktai 1 except for the emblems and abour 50 more floors of the azure sky tower. In Boktai 2 I need to regrow the solar tree but i'm level 100..>>

If you can, get both! ^^
But if you can only get one, get the first one so you'll understand the story better. It's harder to find, though, so if you can't find it anywhere, then get the second one. But you might be able to order it off the internet.

That was what I was thinking, but....T_T I don't have the courage to go ask, I fear I might get a good scolding of something like...

Hey, Boktai has a lot of puzzles and the first one has some math to do. I learned what 1+1 is! Razz

I loved both... but 1 more becuase you can re-do three billion times...
and It was more of a thinking game...

At least the Treasury in 2 brought back some bad memories of not knowing with the hell to do

OK, so I'm still wondering, eng/jap, 1 or 2? I just can't decide. Mum says no, but I can use my own $$$ to buy it, it's just I tried TradeMe, cause I live in NZ, and they only have Boktai2. I want both but then mum will definatly sa NO. So, 1 or 2? I'm getting ready to pull my hair out at this question. Arragh!!!@#$%^&*&^$#!!!!!!

Ask for Boktai 1. And then get Boktai 2 with your own money. Makes sense, right?

Depends. Do you have the imported EXE 5? If you do, it only works with the Japanese. If you don't, get the English to understand what the hell you're supposed to be doing anyway.

I decided to try this game out after hearing about it here. Thanks guys! You've introduced to one of the most surprisingly fun and innovative games I've ever played. I haven't completed Boktai 1 yet, but I"m sure I will soon.

I've just finished looking at the thread about Boktai 3, and if I read the title correctly, it seems the game might follow Sabata this time around. Does anyone have any more information on that?

Another thing: mettaur pokemon, that avatar of Sabata looks very anime-ish. Where did you find that shot? Is it part of the game or something? I must KNOW!!!!!

Sage, Mettuar Pokemon's avatar came from the trailer or wallpaper. Chack out game FAQS Board for info. Yeah, Mum says I can get Boktai 1 and 2, but I just can't bloody find out where to buy the Japanese version!!!! Kya!

Great series Boktai is. I also heard about it from here (Malik). =)

Got Boktai 1 about a year ago and beat it in about two weeks. >> Two weeks well spent. =) My parents were (and still are) glad I found something that will at least get me outside. XD;

Oh, and...
-Boktai 2 get!-

I really like where the game has gone this time. Been playing for about a week now and I am on my way to the last boss. Would have probably gotten further, but today was not a Great Boktai Day. =(

I really like the number of characters and voices that there were in this one (We get to hear Django and Ringo speak =D).

I've roamed everywhere, I guess I'll have to ask my dad to buy it from Taiwan and fly here in July.........I wish I could order it online, because I can't bear it!!! I wannit now!!!!

EDIT: Oh my gosh!!!! I asked my dad in taiwan and he went and asked the game shop and his answer was YES!!! But they were out of stock....so I'll have to wait a bit....

Second EDIT: Yes yes yes!!!! I oredered Bokura no Taiyou for US$30.00! PLus shipping and handling! That's about $40 NZD here. Whata bargain! It's arrived! Ohhh... I can't wait to play....>_< XDDDDDD
Then, it has a solarguagecheck card inside. It says Taiyouanitete...something, I can't read. Anyone have a single idea how this works?
