no kidding man. x7's zero voice sucked major a**.......come to think of it, i hated all the voices in x7. x8 was a major improvment.

If you look closely, you can see a glow of purple-ish, though, what the frick it means, for all we know Axl might be the next final boss *laughs*

anyways, we'll see what happens next if Capcom decides to create X9, sure hope they do it in the same style of X8, tho I must admit, I kinda miss some of the 3D aspects of X7, but then again, it's better this way.

X7 was a major mistake in the MMX history.

X8 almost made up for that, when a sidescrolling game becomes fully 3D it loses the sidescrolling part.
So guys, who has unlocked [spoil:fde522283d]Black Zero, White Axl, Ultimate Armor X e all the three Navigators in battle[/spoil:fde522283d]?

Also, for who's not tried it yet... X8 should be out for PC in the US as well by now, isn't it? Is it out already?[/spoil]

X8, Mayor improvement? I digress...
sure it has it's plus points, like a mayor storyline, and Lumine, and VAVA!
but, the Ultimate armor looks worthless compared to the ones in X4-6 and
was X7 really THAT bad? Besides that Axl was mainly a useless character there, I liked playing it, and it had a nice feel to it....so discribing it that way seems harshly unfair, compared to X3 and X6 this game is quite good...

I still really like fighting with Cutman in X8, I never stop to pummel him, with X, and then try only to attack like Rockman did in the first game, only jumping and shooting, HAH we'll see who owns who! >.<

they should' ve made a intermission where you fight ALL the robotmasters
from 1-8, would be nice...

uhm technically you didn't have to beat 4 stages, just collect 64 Reploids....

anyways, X7 played nicely on on the old memories of the X series, while X8 plays more Zero styled, wich is not a bad thing....but still....

plus X7 had a better soundtrack, in terms of X style, where X8 has a more Luminous(lol) feel, more rock, and stuff, but totally showing one theme, such is heard in the title screen, Irregular dialogue, Vava Dialogue and ending...I totally love the Jakob theme though, and Lumine is the best X series villian imo, still, it can't beat X1...almost nothing can however...

I moreso liked the character designs and armor abilities and whatnot, like uh....Hermes armor's X Drive was a lifesaver. :O PLus, the double attacks where how I beat every boss. Even lumine. :P

It's kinda forced on you in order to beat Lumine... -_-;

The only thing I didn't like about X8 were the lame animals they chose as bosses(I'm still waiting for a Coyote or Fox...), Save the Mantis and Panda, those two were awesome.

But the thing I really didn't like about this one was the music. The music here is nowhere near as good as some of the stuff from Command Mission, or even X7. Probably the only good BGMs in this game were Noah's Park and the Orbital Elevator stage.

But aside from that stuff, the game, as the thread title says, OWNS.
