Jetix in Mexico & Latin America airs new NT Warrior Eps

For the curious enough and my fellow mexican Rockman fans, originally NT Warrior for Mexico came with the same package distributed in Canada -only in spanish of course. Leaving out what people called the 'lost episodes' that were aired in US last year.

Last night and, following Jetix's lovely tradition of no making any announcement, those missing episodes of NT warrior began airing with the release of Episode 54: Chisao comes to town

Now, for the curious here's a list of the episodes -according to the japanese version- that we haven't seen yet in Mexico.

I'm pretty sure Episodes 26, 27, 43, and 52 were just left out entirely in the NT Warrior lineup.

Well, about the dubs. They're exactly like the spanish track in the DVD.

Lan: Conexion! Megaman! Poder! (Sweatdrops...)

Plus, every Battlechiup is not translated.

And the eppies, they might be too disturbing or have some material lik eGoku poking Ymcha's eyes in Dragon Ball. Or Yamcha looking at Bulma naked.

Goku poking Yamcha's eyes as well as Goku seeing Bulma naked were kept in the mexican dub.

The only problem with NT warrior is that... they came when US franchises began to get high into Anime. Saint Seiya or Dragon Ball or Ranma 1/2 for example were completely translated from the original product. But now lately the dub studios won't try and buy the original product if it's already dubbed in US for example -I presume it's either cheaper or they simply cannot buy the original version due to an US distributor owning the rights for the whole continent, not sure- they just adquire the version the way it was edited and arranged on the US dub. That's why series like Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and also NT warrior are brought the same way they're dubbed/edited in US.

We use the "Conexión -navi name- Poder" because Jack in has no translation to spanish as it is. In fact Conexión is more like "plug in" because when we mean to say "plug in" we say 'conectar en". And we say "poder" because Power up doesn't have a logic translation in spanish either.

And as for the battlechips not always being translated -in fact the stopped translating many names such as the Pogram Advance after the first eps- is because they wanted to do something similar to the Japanengrish of the original series. I seriously like it more to hear Count Zap throwing in english phrases between his regular speeches, just like Elec Hakushaku int he Original anime XD except it's spanenglish instead of japanengrish

Changing chips' names would also make it more confusing for the products spawned by this series, I think. You know, with PETs including battlechips and stuff...

Since I have no cable (afhañlsdh damn you father) I don't get Jetix. Hence, I don't get NT Warrior. I think I prefer it that way. ^^;

I have seen NT Warrior, and all I can say is that the spanish dubbers have done a terrific work trying to, um, spice up all the american edits. So everything's decent, as long as Mr. Ketchum doesn't starts calling Elecman "Chispita". That's gotta be the most stupid pun I've heard in my entire life. :grr:

If you mean America the country -damn confusing names -.- - then I don't think so. There's no spanish branch of KidsWB in Latin America, that's why we get NT Warrior via Jetix.

hmm....i wouldn't be that sure of new episodes airing, it's the first time they broadcast "Chisao Comes to Town!" , but i think it was broadcasted in teh episode batch before the "Lost Episodes" in Canada (someone correct me if I'm wrong) which are the episodes you listed, Plantman.

second, the espisode that aired after "Chisao comes to town" was "Knightman's Betrayal!" and yesterday we got episode 45: Lets Go to the Moon!. I remember Jetix screwing up the schedule of the episodes the first time they aired, (episode 56 aired waay before than the whole Gospel arc) so to me,it's no surprise they skipped 2 or 3 episodes, but now that they are re-airing NT warrior, probably they will show them in the proper order.

Nope in fact they keep screwing the order -again- Today Wily's Legacy was aired in Jetix. So it's definitively they're airing new episodes. I've watched NT warrior without skip since it first aired last year and I know for a fact Chisao's episode didn't air until this monday. XD

Just for the Record Berny, avoid making posts that contain just one word such as "cool" try at least a full paragraph.

And I am not so sure when Axess will be coming to Mexico, chances are it might be this very same year, since they take about... 3 or so months of difference with US to air episodes.
