For fans of Sonic the Hedgehog,there will be a new game coming out this winter.It is called Shadow the Hedgehog.This time around he will get vehichles and weapons along with just super speed.

Sonic has gone way down hilll since Sonic Adventure for DC

Sonic Advenure 1 was good, 2, slightly worse, Heroes OMG!

It looks pretty cool but it just looks like they colored Sonic black instead of blue and gave him a gun. Now I know the whole Sonic story and everything so don't think I'm just giving my view thinking I know nothing about it. This is for Mari or anyone else who wants this. Not sure if I like the look of it or not, but I'm gonna wait until it comes out before I judge it, rather than proclaim my everlasting hatred a billion over before I have actual evidence that it sucks, and is in fact an attempt to replace Sonic and try to make Shadow cool by giving him extra weaponry.

(Besides, people were saying similar stuff about Shining Force Neo, also
made by Sega and judging by recent reactions now that it's come out in Japan, it turned out to be really, really good XD)

I'm still pretty upset about their decision to make such a game, it makes me dislike Yuji Naka even more. Sonic games have always been a fun cartoony adventure with some seriousness(Sonic adventure 2 was great). In true angsty badass fashion, though Shadow couldn't stay dead! So, we get, sonic heros(yuck) Sonic battle(YUCK) then this. Shadow suddenly needs a gun to fight enemies now? Oh and whats this? Vehicals and Swords also? that's ridiculous. No there's no reason Shadow CAN'T use a gun or a vehical, but he doesn't need any of that, he's faster than any car, and can fire bolds of energy.

It's basically an attempt t make people buy it without being embarassed for buying a kids game... What's next? Shadow the Hedgehog 2, Partner up with Rouge the bat, who sports a new ensemble of a thong and a victoria's secret bra?

I don't see what the big deal about giving Shadow guns and vehicles is. It's the same treatment Wario got. Wario at first was basically an evil Mario, but Mario has nothing to do with treasure or pirates, and powerups that effect the hat rather than Mushrooms and Fireflowers, but that didn't stop Wario Land from succeeding.

So far all the reasons I've seen against this game are that it's not a rehash of the other 3d Sonic games, but people whine about those too. Guess Sega just can't win.

I also like the fact that he doesn't have to use the gun all the time.
And I didn't mind the adventure games or heroes altough it did have problems. I do think what junkman said was funny though. (I guess that would be worse then her extra adventure 2 battle costume huh?)

This is the first time Shadow's ever worked completely on his own in a game, it's possible that he wants the stuff for extra backup.
As I said in the previous topic, Sega has successfully done this before IMO in Tails Adventure, so it'd be best to wait till the game actually comes out before you judge it.

I liked the old ones the best, but now that they've given shadow a gun the game has a twist more towards the mature rating which will be way to different.

I've seen this game when it was mentioned on a sonic related forum awhile back along with the terms "it's going to suck", "I thought the poll Sega had was a joke", and "they've gone off the deep end". X3

Eh, I think I will try the game before I form a concrete opinion on it though.
