If you've mastered the Guts Machine Gun, it may well be a lifesaver. So will Roll's healing. _________________ The name is Warp "Ligia" Obscura. *Cocks gun to shoot mispellers* |

I suggest RollSoul. If you have useless chips or even chips that do squat, at the very least you will have a nice +10% life attached to it.

But what about the blue moon version, you have mention only red sun so far. Think would silver bullet be any good against Duo? _________________ Avatar by May, many flowers and thanks for the wonderful avatar. |

Duo doesn't flinch, so you won't be able to hold him in place for the duration of the attack.
(Why does everyone keep using the term "Silver Bullet"? What's wrong with "Pumped up Super Vulcan"? That's all it is.) |

No idea, I just found the term at gamerfaqs and people here used it too. I just assume that was the name _________________ Avatar by May, many flowers and thanks for the wonderful avatar. |

You would be correct. That's what I have gathered from my browsing of the boards.

He'll start using that face attack when you've whittled down his HP down pass 1,000. As for which soul to use...use all three! Each one will help you one way or another:
Roll-Heals you to stay alive
Guts-Rapid Buster shot, and +30 to all offensive normal and ground cracking chips/program advances.
Search-Fire from anywhere with Scope gun :] , and helps finding Programs Advance chips easy :V . |

I don't like using those GameFAQ names for combos. It implies the people that gave the combos those names have some sort of creative rights to the combo, like no one in the universe could have figured out that combo besides the person that named it, and therefore that person deserves credit every time that combo is used. Instead I'd rather give the combos my own names, strictly descriptive names, since I don't consider one person's strategic insight into the game mechanics any greater than my own. You may think that's pretentious, though I'd rather look at it as anti-pretentious. |

Raijin- I think your term sounds better "Pumped up Super Vulcan". Don't know why but I'm not really good at naming stuff _________________ Avatar by May, many flowers and thanks for the wonderful avatar. |

Well, I'm not saying other people should use MY terminology, just that it's kinda self-degrading to use somebody else's terminology. I think any good BN player should know by now that any multiple-hit chip can be abused with Atk+ type chips. That and attacks that spread themselves over an enclosed area can be abused by reducing that area with Objects and/or AreaGrab type chips are the golden rules for making effective combination attacks in this series. I admit that there are some combos the GFAQ people come up with that I might not be able to discover on my own, some of them are pretty clever. But I think at least the so-called "Silver Bullet" is way too obvious to warrant its own name.
One piece of GFAQ terminology I do use is "karma". Since there's no way I would have discovered that invisible parameter on my own, I pay my respects to the people that did and named it. |

Aah..the wonders of learning Elementary Mandarin I in a language lab. Thing is, it could be nearly any class since i have a laptop...and you know how universities love wi-fi...but I digress.
And memnarch, you aren't on enough to answer the questions. What do you want me to do--refer everyone to your guide? _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! and yeah, once i got hit by that giant head of his.. but i had about 30hp left so i died.... >_<
as for his hands..... a area grab or something should get you an advantage... but beware to move three steps back from the original if you do. _________________

It's OK. We're simply play-fighting. The real fighting occurs elsewhere...but I digress.
Anyway, I don't recall what the face attack is. It's probably because I have not picked up the game in six months. Thus, I cannot say anything about it. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! I beat him under the normal level, or the first time, and I didn't see any head. Does it show up in the second or third time you replay the game? _________________

he has used the overgrown head on me every time I've fought him (it doesn't matter who is killed first) but every time he missed the poor duo as bad aim. _________________

The thing with his attacks, especially with the giant head, is that he gives such gigantic tells that it is a trivial matter of dodging it. It seems that he likes to broadcast whatever he wants to do next, so that you may plan ahead and deal with it appropriately.
As I've said, once you understand these tells, beating him will be a matter of time... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks!
