A Warning About A Certain Rockman Store

At any rate, where should I begin? Well, this will be long.

I was interested last year in purchasing a Rockman action figure. I wasn't sure which one exactly I wanted, just one of Rockman.EXE. I saw a link to ToysNJoys.com, who were selling the BattlePlaction snap-together model kits. They also were selling a LOT of Rockman items, and still do.

The particular BattlePlaction figure I ordered was priced at 19.95. It still is. I ordered it at the end of July, using some of my birthday money.

I did not recieve it nor recieve any replies(Except a lying email detailing that I would get it the next week, which never occured) to emails for MONTHS. I finally filed a complaint with PayPal. After I complained, the figure was mailed and recieved. The complaint was not investigated until months later, whereupon PayPal refunded me, then said I had to give back the refund(which is okay because I DID recieve the item), BUT they suspended the ToysnJoys paypal account. They now have another account on PayPal. I have not refunded the money to the current account because I want it to be known I refunded it to the previous account that is associated with the complaint(Whenever it is unsuspended), which I told ToysnJoys and they were fine with, which is the ONLY good thing I have to say about them.

Today I was looking at Rockman items on another online anime store.
They also have the BattlePlaction Rockman.EXE Axess figure, and lo and behold, they sell it for FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY FIVE CENTS! 4.95. Can you believe this? This means the retail value of the Battleplaction is LESS than 4.95, and ToysnJoys sold it to me for TWENTY? I could have bought MULTIPLE battleplaction figures at the fairer price. I only wish I had known this first! There's no excuse for selling something that clearly is not rare at such a high price.

In short; never buy from Toys N Joys. They WILL rip you off and do not care about your satisfaction until the day they are in trouble. Avoid them like the plague.

Ah yes, I had a problem with them once. I ordered the Saito Style Rockin Action Rockman.EXE figure and got the set with the Elec-Guts and clear green Saito Rockman instead. It's a cool set, but it was a mistake. So I e-mailed them and told them what happened. They apologized and offered it to me for $20 instead of the full price and said they would still ship out the correct figure next day. (Guess it would have been cheaper for them than to have it shipped back to them and such.) So I agreed, and now have all three figures. Heh, due to their mistake, I made a profit, so I didn't complain much. :]

I can't remember if I've ordered anything else from them or not. I may have, but if I did, I didn't have a problem. I think that is where I got my Soul Battle Plaction kits from. *shrugs*

I never ordered from them, heck I never ordered online (yet) but seeing that their location is (Japan isn't it?) maybe the product gets lost while it's getting mailed.

Well once my parents ordered online, but it never came, er they ordered it about 7 or 8 years ago and we still don't have it. Heck i can't remember what it was anyway.

I know, ToysnJoys are ripoffs. Don't buy from them. Its just like buying meat if you're a vegetarian. Its a waste of money. By the way, Greenjeanz, you don't need to respond to every post made.

It's one of the most expensive sites ive ever seen.
Nobody should buy from these ripoffs.
And now i hear also the service is crap?

I've ordered from them a few times in the past. My first try was to order one of the chibi classic Forte keychains. The first time they sent me X, so I said "okay, he's cute" and re-ordred a Forte. They sent me X AGAIN. This time I e-mailed and complained. Ended up they let me keep the extra X, and sent me Forte for free.

I can't remember if I ordered anything else after that. I just remember them selling the original PETs for $100 a pop, which was outrageous. A few months ago I randomly received a Trigun t-shirt from them. O_o I e-mailed them about it in case some poor sap didn't get his t-shirt, but they never replied, so I kept it. Arr.

so let me get this straight, your order a forte keychain but they gave you X, then you ordered again, and you got X again. You complained and got forte for free. Then a few months ago you got a T-Shirt randomly, hmm maybe we should order through then to get free stuff Laughing

The prices at Toys N Joys are quite expensive, I generally try looking for the item I want through other means.
