Can someone tell me where to find these chips in MMBN 3:
Prism J
Grasstage J
Shadow *
4 CustSwrd B
4 VarSwrd B
4 Slasher B
...and the question is... how many battles does it takes to find a new style when you chose 'Find another style'?

Is this in MMBN2? Well the style thing in BN2 is 280-300 battles I think. And all the chips you mentioned can be obtained through Chip Traders... except... I think Shadow* can be obtained by S-ing a Shadow virus... and I heard something about VarSword being attainable by defeating a Mole2 virus in the WWW area... Other than that, you gotta use the chip trader...
If you're not talking about BN2, which you're probably not, I apologize for wasting your time.

Getting a new Style Change after you completely leveled up your current Style Change or stop levelling it up needs you to battle about 100 virus battles, except those in special events.
The chips you're trying to search for, I cannot help you. Use the gamefaqs site. They have loads of info there for almost every game available. |

Um...Prism J is trader, Shadow * is trader or S-Ranking a Shadow with Custom Style, CustomSword B you can buy at BeachSquare, VariableSword B is luck (trade for one in SciLab), Slasher B...um...I don't recall now. But all are capable of being found in a trader.

Slasher B is as a result of the seventh (I think) job, where you have to compare prices for Slashers. You get it after you complete the job.
Good luck trying to find Prism J's. I believe they are the hardest chips to obtain, and you will be pulling your hair out finding them. The good thing is, as I can recall, Higsby will sell you all of the parts to the degenerate 2xHero folder, so don't worry too much. If you get one of those chips, like a CustSwrd, VarSwrd, or Slasher, and don't need it, dump it back into the Chip Trader and buy it in B code.

Still the same. I assume that you are trying to build NDI? (For those of you in the dark, NDI (Neo Disco Inferno) is a fast, devastating folder around HeatSpread) GrassStage * is probably easier to obtain. Nonetheless, I will wish you luck in finding what you need.

If you're lucky, they will be in GMD's in the ACDC area. Just be patient, jack in and out of the ACDC network, and eventually you will find one or ten.

| To be specific, you can find the Recov30 * in ACDC Area 3. Like the others said, just be patient, eventually you'll get it. And it so happens that I think there's a BMD along the storyline that contains Recov30*. I'm certain there is but I'm not sure where it is. |

Job 3 requires you to give up a Recov30 *. Other than that, I am certain there is a BMD, but I am unsure where.

i get another style after doing 50, 100, or 150 battles depending on what the version is.
