An object. Lightning automatically strikes objects on the field and damages all adjacent panels. hits can increase if the target is adjacent to two or more objects. |

I think the name of this should be "The Raijin disproves all your theories about which chips are useless thread".
Nah, just kidding, we love you, Rai. :puku:
Geyser only works if the minibomb containing the attack lands in a hole. It then causes a *gasp* geyser to shoot out of the hole, causing bubbles to damage every panel around the impact point.
OOO
OXO
OOO
X - Where the minibomb lands
O - the affected panels. (200 damage each, OUCH. Especially with >_< Soul.) _________________

why do people hate stone cube? Stone cube is awsome and can be used to use another good chip. in MMBN3 place Stone Cube down and step behind it and use Nobeam3 (300dmg *.*) which will make the nobeam shot across the screen doing 300dmg to anything in its path .and slasher is good to use on Drillman ^-^ just hold down a till he crosses over to your area of the playing field.
Stone Cube = C
Panels = X
You = Y
Panels hit by NoBeam = T

StoneCube is a fabulous alternative to area-lock, especially in BN4 where a player can have only three panels at minimum instead of one. Two opportunely placed cubes will restrict your opponent, and then you will be able to dish out some wrath. Mwahahahaha.
There's also the pinch of using JunkSoul with it, or WindSoul...and moving obstacles are FUN. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Not quite. Swap around Y and C. The object has to be behind Megaman to project the NOBeam. I'm not quite sure what the deal with that is. My theory is that the chip invertsts your shadow into a powerful light-based laser and shoots his outward from where the shadow is cast, which is why you need something behind you, and also why the NOBeam consists of your own glowing silhouettes. Either that or the game designers were just on drugs when they came up with that one. Whichever makes more sense.
I can't believe nobody else is mentioning Team1. Don't tell me I'm the only one that can't get it to work. |

GaiaBlade is soooo far from useless. I love it. You can only use it in Wood styles, which probably the issue you are having. It has the ranges of a long sword and deals its damage and adds the damage of any chips selected after it as if they were attack+ type chips (thus, they cannot be used after the GaiaBlade). For example, if I slot in GaiaBlade, Mine, Mine, I'd get a longsword that does 700 damage (100 for the Gaia Blade's initial damage, plus the 300 damage from each Mine). Um.... Yes please.
The Mines are sacrificed to the Gaia Blade, but who cares? _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

The Elemental MegaChips were all mentioned earlier in the thread, but it seems nobody has the time to read five whole pages now. Might as well re-iterate.
Prominence and Salamander can only be used by HeatStyles, and there needs to be an enemy between Megaman and the hole for the attack to hit. It sends out a stream of flame up, down, and to the right, as long as there are holes in those directions.
Waterline and Fountain are only for AquaStyles. You need to have Megaman standing right behind a hole for it to work. If the hole is in front of Megaman a WaterTower will emerge from it and then the rest of the row will quickly erupt with WaterTowers, and the panels get cracked.
Lightning and Bolt are for ElecStyles. Wasn't it just explained on this page? Yeesh. It makes Lightning strike any objects on the field, damaging them as well as any enemies adjacent to them. Damage is multiplied by the number of objects the enemy is standing by.
GaiaSword and GaiaBlade are only for WoodStyles. They work just like ordinary swords except they absorb the attack power of the chips selected after them. Mine and NOBeam3 are the best chips to use for that. |

So that's how they worked. Thanks for the enlightenment.
I never got to use any of the chips anyway, since I always could never figure them out. The only one I tested was Salamander, and it seemed OK. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! I find the BugBomb completly not needed!
Also, the Hole or anything that causes Holes is not needed! I don't even know what Holes do! |

Just to explain this, BugBomb throws a bomb three spaces ahead. It then explodes and some effect occurs (confusion, HP loss at Custom screen, etc.)
Hole only powers up DS navi chips. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

Oy, I never said Stone Cube was useless... I was only using it as a device as to why Object Repair is... -_-;
The element-only chips from EXE 3 were complained about, I wonder why the same isn't true of the ones from EXE 2? _________________

Obviously because almost nobody gets them. You can only get them if you do an assload of Link Battling with your friends, or do what I do and bllow some disposable income on a second copy of the game, waste valuable time playing all the way through it again, and then link-battle myself like a putz for a about a week until all those chips finally present themselves to me.
Plus, knowledge of the BN2 secret chips existence is pretty much impossible to find out on one's own. That's one of those things you really need to get secret info off websites like GamFAQs, that keycode to unlock hard mode isnt exactly something you can stumble accross. And considering the people here that don't know how the chips work probably WOULD know if they visited GameFAQs, it's a good bet they don't even know BN2 has such chips. |
