CHAPTER 2-48
Havoc!

Lan stood by Hub’s bed packing away his brother’s belongings when someone knocked on the door.

“Who is it?” he asked.

“It’s just us,” Tory’s voice came.

“It’s unlocked.” The doorknob twisted and the door swung open, allowing Tory and Sean entry into the room.

“So Lan, how are you feeling?” asked Sean.

“Better, thanks for asking.” Lan dropped several pairs of Hub’s jeans into a box and threw in a few of his shirts before taping it shut.

“It’s still hard to believe that Hub’s gone now,” Tory said silently. Lan paused as he was taking his brother’s books down from his shelf and thought back to the “funeral” that had occurred the night before.

***FLASHBACK***

Dr. Hikari gave Hub’s body a thorough examination and shook his head as he gave the others his report.

“I’m afraid it’s completely beyond repair,” he notified them, “I could make another body, but it would take a few years to complete.”

“It’s alright, Dad,” MegaMan said from Lan’s PET, “Even just one school year with Lan was enough. I’m just glad he and I got to spend time together like real brothers.”

“I’m glad for that, as well,” Lan added.

“So you’re sure about this?” asked Yuuichiro.

“Yes,” Lan and MegaMan replied simultaneously. Yuuichiro looked into his sons’ eyes and saw that they had made a decision and were bound to stick with it. He nodded to them with understanding and turned around, wheeling Hub’s robot body out of the lab.

“Lan?”

“Yeah, MegaMan?”

“Hold me.”

“I’m already holding you.”

“No, I…never mind.”

***END FLASHBACK***

“I can’t help but wonder, though, how Hub’s going to be able to write his exams,” Sean thought aloud.

“Hey Lan, can I have Hub’s Tag?” asked Tory as he picked up a black spray bottle from one of the boxes. Instead, it was MegaMan who answered.

“Go ahead.”

“Didn’t you guys come for any reason other than remind me about Hub?” Lan asked in a rather offensive tone, which caused his friends to take a step back.

“We just came to tell you that we found a house to live in next year,” Tory quickly informed him, quickly slipping the bottle into his pocket, “We’re all going over there to have a look. You wanna come?”

“Sure. I have to lay claim to a room to me mine, anyway.” Lan dropped the books into another box and stood up, “Let’s go.”

* * *

Somehow, Noah had managed to get the Leviathan over to the old VILE headquarters at Serpent Bastion and he was now sitting in his old office typing away at the computers.

“We’ve still got a bit of a way to go, my Omega Virus,” he whispered to the image on the screen in front of him, “Just a little bit longer. In the meantime, here’s something to munch on.”

Inside the server, a blue virus with green transparent tanks filled with clear liquid in its arms, legs, torso, and tail landed in the shadowy area and looked around.

“At last, I, Infinity Mijinion, VILE’s hero, have been summoned to do my master’s bidding!” he said excitedly, completely unaware of the dark shape behind him that stared down at him with glowing red eyes. His gloating didn’t last long, though, when a giant black hand reached out and grabbed him. Infinity Mijinion screamed as he was pulled into the shadows and silenced a few seconds later. A low growl followed and Noah chuckled.

“You liked that treat, didn’t you?” he asked, “Soon, you’ll be able to eat all you want.” He checked his laptop and saw that he still had several hours to go before the download was complete.

“All in due time.” He hit a key and the silhouette disappeared. Noah then picked up his laptop and plushie and headed back to the Leviathan. Once he had settled down in his chair, he programmed the autopilot’s destination and the airship moved away from the tower.

“And just to make sure nobody can stop my Omega Virus…” Noah took out a small black rod and pressed down on the top with his thumb. Behind the airship, the abandoned Serpent Bastion erupted into a mass of explosions.

* * *

Lan, Maylu, Dex, Tory, Sean, and Chaud all stood in front of a white two-storey house staring at the structure before them.

“So this is it, huh?” asked Dex.

“I’m actually surprised there was a house on campus like this up for rent,” Lan commented, “Most of the ones you see only have one floor and a basement.”

“How much is the rent on this place, anyway?” Chaud inquired.

“Well, the landlord was originally charging fifty thousand zenny for it, but Sean was able to bring it down to thirty thousand,” Tory answered, “Don’t ask how.”

“What does that break down to per month?”

“That is per month,” Sean replied, “Shall we go inside?” He took the house keys from his pocket and shook them.

“How many keys are there?” asked Lan.

“There’s six of us, so we had the landlord give us six keys, plus three spares for emergencies,” Tory replied. After distributing the keys, everyone walked in and left their shoes by the front door. First there was the foyer, which was fairly spacious with a staircase leading up to the second floor, a closet right beneath it, and a window on the other side of the stairs. Beyond that was what everyone believed to be the living room, since it was a very large area with a fireplace and a few windows. A doorway to the right led into the kitchen, which had appliances but no furniture. A counter at which people could sit separated the cooking area from the dining area.

“This is nice,” Maylu commented.

“Yeah,” Dex agreed as he walked behind the counter, “This stove is amazing! Bet I could cook a lot with it!”

Meanwhile, Lan and ventured off alone and had climbed upstairs to the second floor. Across the hall from where he came up was a door leading to a large bathroom complete with every appliance one could expect to find. There was also a window by the sink.

We should replace that window with opaque glass. Or at least find a shade to cover it, he thought. Stepping out of the bathroom, he continued exploring the rest of the upper floor. Just immediately to the left of the stairs was one bedroom and another further down the hall with a window next to it. At the end opposite of the window was the master bedroom. On one side there was a large window and on the other was a door leading into a smaller bathroom.

“Hey MegaMan, you think Maylu should have this room?” Lan asked. He took out his PET and showed MegaMan around.

“I think so,” the blue NetNavi replied, “Seeing as it’s going to be five guys and one girl, Maylu should have her own bathroom.” Lan left the bedroom and came back out into the hall just as the others were coming up.

“So Lan, did you find anything?” asked Maylu.

“The house is pretty spacious, I’ll give you that,” Lan responded. Sean, who had gone to the window end of the hallway, suddenly spoke up.

“Hey Lan, did you notice this flight of stairs on this end?”

“No, I didn’t. Let me see.” Lan walked over to where the younger teen stood. Just across from the hall-end bedroom was a staircase leading up. He slowly walked up the steps with Maylu behind him and reached a door. He pushed it open and looked inside. To his amazement, it was an almost fully furnished bedroom. There was a desk at the far end and a bed with three drawers near the bottom stood against the wall where the ceiling slanted down low. Just above it was a skylight. Next to the headboard was an empty bookshelf. Near the foot of the bed was a small dresser. A chest sat sandwiched in the corner between the dresser and the desk.

“What’s it like, Lan?” asked Maylu.

“Come in and see for yourself.” Lan stepped into the room and allowed Maylu enough room to get in. She, too, was impressed.

“This is nice, Lan,” she commented, “It’s small, but really nice.”

“I’ve heard about attic bedrooms, but I never thought I’d actually see one,” Lan thought aloud, “I wonder who’ll be sleeping up here. Anyone who gets up will just end up hitting their head against the slanted ceiling.”

“Let’s worry about that when we move in.”

“Hey, you two!” Tory called from downstairs, “We still have more of the house to check out. You can kug later!” Lan and Maylu both turned red at Tory’s comment and they immediately headed back down to the second floor.

“Where did Dex and Chaud go?” asked Lan.

“They went to check out the basement,” Sean answered. Everyone headed back down to the first floor and they walked over to an open door right across the front door that led to a flight of stairs heading downward. They descended underground and found Chaud and Dex walking around. Unlike the basements in most of their own home, though, this one had carpet covering most of the floor.

“Hey guys,” Lan called, “Find anything?”

“Well, the basement is apparently divided into three rooms,” answered Chaud, “The room right under the stairs contains the furnace and the hot water heater. Yes, the one with no carpets. Then there’s smaller room over here and there’s this large room.” Sean pushed his way past everyone and looked around.

“We could use this smaller room for yet another bedroom,” he suggested.

“We could also use this larger area for an activities room,” Tory added.

“What activities could you do?” asked Chaud.

“If we can get an extra TV, we can hook up my game consoles to it,” Sean piped up.

“Maybe a mini-gym,” suggested Tory.

“Table tennis?” said Dex.

“Dex, you don’t play,” Lan responded bluntly, “I’d like a pinball machine.”

“Lan, you don’t have a pinball machine,” Sean mumbled.

“No worries. Chaud can buy one for us. And since he has all that money, he can also pay off the rent for us.”

“Like hell I will,” Chaud shot back, “We’ll split the rent up evenly. We can discuss this more after we’ve moved in.”

Everyone headed back up to the main floor and Lan and Tory went to check for a garage while Chaud headed off the investigate the backyard, leaving Sean, Maylu, and Dex the only ones still inside the house.

“Sean, what are you doing?” Maylu asked as she looked over his shoulder at the sketchbook he was drawing on.

“I’m making floor plans of the house,” Sean replied, “It’ll make things easier for planning.”

“We’re back!” Lan, Tory, and Chaud called simultaneously.

“That was fast.”

“The house has a driveway, but no garage,” Lan reported.

“And the backyard is pretty spacious with a shed in the far corner,” said Chaud, “I think that covers everything. Let’s head back.” The six teens put their shoes back up and locked up the house before they started back to Cameron Hall.

* * *

“Come on over to our new location and try some of our brand new udon dishes!” SanukiMan’s voice boomed, “We’re now on the north side of DenTech City, so stop by sometime! And remember, any day is good for udon! Altogether now! UDON!”

“UDON!” All the Navis who had been watching SanukiMan advertise immediately copied his dance and laughed wholeheartedly. Then they walked away.

“Every day is a good day for sanuki udon!” Unbeknownst to SanukiMan, black tentacles had begun to seep up from the floor and he continued to fail to notice them until they had wrapped themselves tightly around him and dragged him off.

* * *

“Ahh, the art of slow cooking,” Yuki sighed contently as she took a disk out from the oven in Cameron Hall’s kitchen, “You pop it into the oven in the morning and you have something ready to eat by the time you get back home.” She removed the lid and Dan, Hiro, and Cid peered into it.

“God, that looks disgusting,” Dan retched.

“Disgusting isn’t an appropriate word for the kitchen. It looks…interesting.” Yuki took a forkful of the food and placed it in her mouth, “And tastes as interesting as it looks. Maybe it needs salt.”

“Maybe it needs binning?” Cid suggested.

Upstairs, Lan and co. were gathered in Lan’s room eating curry take-out for dinner.

“I’ll be glad once we move,” Lan brought up, “Then we won’t have to tolerate Yuki’s cooking.”

“I concur,” Chaud added.

After dinner, they threw out the garbage and decided to head online for a bit.

“Let’s do it! Jack in!! MegaMan, power up!”

“Jack in!! ProtoMan, power up!”

“Jack in!! Roll/IceMan/Axl/GutsMan, power up!”

Everyone aimed their PETs at Lan’s computer and six lasers shot out and hit the jack-in sensor.

* * *

MegaMan, Roll, GutsMan, IceMan, Axl, and ProtoMan met up with Glyde in Internet City.

“Welcome back, MegaMan!” everyone yelled in unison.

“Come on, guys. I wasn’t gone for that long,” MegaMan replied.

“Long enough,” IceMan joked.

“Come on! I’m still in good shape!” MegaMan stood straight up and flexed his arm, “See?” Unbeknownst to him, Axl had sneakily stepped behind him. The redheaded Navi grinned as he placed his hands next to MegaMan’s back and began cracking his knuckles.

“GAAAAAHHHH!!” Unable to contain himself any longer, Axl dropped to the ground and burst out laughing. Realizing he had just been duped, MegaMan turned around and looked at the scarred Navi.

“That wasn’t funny, Axl,” he mumbled in a very disgruntled tone. Axl finally managed to pull himself together and hauled himself back onto his feet.

“Sorry, but I just couldn’t resist when you said you were still in good shape.”

“But it WAS funny,” ProtoMan added with a rare smile.

“Oi! You don’t see me laughing,” MegaMan shot back. Axl leaned close to MegaMan and muttered something into his ear.

“That’s because you’re the one we played the joke on.”

After tormenting MegaMan for another ten minutes, everyone finally decided to let him have it easy and they all walked off together.

“Looks like the last update really did a number on this place,” MegaMan noted as they passed several shops and signs.

“Actually, most of the changes were made about five updates ago,” Roll corrected.

“Man, I really have been gone long. What’s been added since I was last here?”

“Well for starters, there are the new links that can take you to any part of the net,” Glyde began, “Unlike the old links, which only connected two areas, these ones can take you anywhere from just a single link.”

“This I gotta try!” MegaMan ran ahead of everyone and reached the link terminal. He was just stepping onto one of them when the others finally caught up to him.

“Please select destination,” a female voice commanded.

“Netopia, please.”

“Destination not found.”

“Excuse me?”

“Please select another destination.”

“Okay, lemme see here. How about Yumland?”

“Destination not found.”

“Sharo?”

“Destination not found.”

“NetFrica?”

“Destination not found.”

“Creamland?”

“I’m sorry. You have made too many unsuccessful attempts. Please try again later.” A mechanical leg swung down from behind MegaMan and kicked him off the link and onto the platform floor.

“Ow…”

“MegaMan, are you okay?” Roll asked as she bent down to help her boyfriend up.

“I’m fine, but something’s wrong with the link terminal,” MegaMan answered, “For some reason, it kept saying that all my destinations couldn’t be found.”

“Well it certainly couldn’t have been hacked,” Glyde said thoughtfully as he crossed his arms and rubbed his chin with his finger.

“He’s right. The terminal’s got some of the most state-of-the-art anti-hacking security programs,” Axl mentioned.

“Maybe systems got deleted,” suggested GutsMan.

“Not likely. Unless something similar to Gospel appeared,” ProtoMan mused.

“Hey, wait a second. Didn’t Noah’s superviruses infect the entire net?” MegaMan brought up. At once, everybody began to remember.

“That’s right!” Axl realized, “Noah must have been downloading the viral data all this time!”

“That’s impossible,” ProtoMan interrupted, “The Official Center has been keeping a close watch for any data streams leading to Noah’s computer and so far there’s only been one and that one was just for a short period of time.” MegaMan pushed past everyone and stood facing down the street.

“Well something out there is downloading all the data in the net and we have to find out what it is.” All of a sudden, several screams echoed throughout the street as numerous Navis came running down it.

“A monster!”

“There’s a monster at the coliseum!”

MegaMan turned around and looked straight at the Net Coliseum.

“That’s our cue. Let’s go.”

* * *

“Is this some kind of new battle system feature?” a boy with a blue T-shirt and an earring asked.

“Maybe,” a dark-haired man with an orange jacket replied, “This looks interesting. We should give it a try. Go for it, BreakMan!” The Navi BreakMan turned towards the massive shape that was approaching and launched an entire barrage of missiles. The projectiles streaked towards the thing and exploded on contact.

“Got him!”

MegaMan and his friends finally arrived at the coliseum and looked down on the arena from the stands. What they saw caused all their eyes to shrink and their throats to run dry.

“It can’t be,” MegaMan gasped, completely horrified, “The Omega Virus!”

Indeed, the massive creature was, in fact, Noah’s Omega Virus. However, its appearance had completely changed since the last time it had appeared. Compared to its original form, this Omega Virus was at least ten times bigger. It still stood on four powerful legs, but now each one looked almost like two black ribcages joined together by the spine encasing some kind of red capsules. The claws on each foot was now jagged and much more lethal and a single bloodshot eye occupied each knee. Its back was now lined with three sets of large jagged spines instead of one, each of which ran down a separate tail. Another bloodshot eye set into its crotch stared out with a piercing gaze. The torso was similarly designed to the legs as it also resembled a black ribcage encasing a transparent red capsule, except the upper half above the solar plexus was covered in thick armored exoskeleton with yet another bloodshot eye in the center of its chest. The shoulders had been modified so that they weren’t as broad, but still served the same functions. Now they looked more like a pair of heads with enormous mouths, each lined with countless jagged teeth, but with no other facial features. All four arms were designed like the legs down to the elbows. From there the rest was covered with pure black exoskeleton. The hands now not only had been rearmed with long jagged claws, but also a set of retractable claws on the backs of each one and a single bloodshot eye in each palm. Four wings now mounted its back, each shimmering with a dark spiral of chaos. The head was no longer elongated backward. Rather, where the extension once was several horns and spikes pointing backward had replaced it. Spines ran down the center of its head all the way to its forehead, where the front-most one curved up into a large horn. Two more horns flanked it just slightly behind on either side if it. Another set of horns, which could almost be mistaken for pincers, lined its jaw. The new Omega Virus looked down at everyone with its glowing red eyes and opened its mouth to let out a ground-shaking roar, revealing six rows of bloodstained teeth with two fangs per row.

(A/N: If you’ve ever seen the show Delta State, the wings are like Sven’s and Maria’s robes.)

“Damn, that thing’s ugly!” Axl exclaimed, “More so than last time!”

Down in the arena, BreakMan suddenly found himself being lifted up. In a few short seconds, his body exploded into countless pixels. The boy with the earring turned to his Navi.

“Your turn, ShiningMan. Let’s see what you can do!” ShiningMan nodded and started running towards the gargantuan monster.

“Shining…… I’m shining! If you shine, I’ll shine…” ShiningMan never got to finish his song as he, too, was lifted into the air by an unseen force. The new Omega Virus held out its upper right arm and slowly opened up its hand. The eye in the center of its palm opened up and stared directly at ShiningMan while the voice of its master echoed through the beast’s head.

“Data Drain….”

The eye began to glow as a shining green ring surrounded ShiningMan. Several streams of energy shot out and penetrated his body before he burst into countless pixels, which were immediately pulled into the virus.

“MegaMan!” Roll tapped the blue Navi’s shoulder and pointed behind the Omega Virus, “Look at that!” MegaMan looked in the direction that Roll’s finger was aimed at and gasped. There was absolutely nothing behind the monstrosity, just an endless void. Finally, something clicked inside his head.

“Noah wasn’t the one who was absorbing the net,” he said, “It was that thing!”

The upgraded Omega Virus extended all four of its arms and opened up its hands. Just as it had done with ShiningMan, it began to do the same thing to all the buildings and fleeing Navis in Internet City.

“MegaMan, everyone, we’re pulling you out!” Lan called, “If you stay there, you’ll be absorbed, as well!”

“But Lan,” MegaMan pleaded, “what about all those Navis?”

“We can’t fight that virus in our current state. Log out so we can come up with a plan. If you’re deleted, then you won’t be able to help them anyway.” MegaMan sighed in defeat.

“Right, Lan.” He turned to the others, “Let’s go.” MegaMan’s and the others’ bodies morphed into the word “LOGOUT” and they vanished just as the observation deck they were standing on only moments ago was deleted.

* * *

Noah sat in his chair on the bridge of the Leviathan watching all the havoc on the net take place on all the monitors surrounding him.

“Things are going absolutely wonderfully! Don’t you agree, Sabata?” he said to his plushie, “The net will soon be deleted and with that data the Omega Virus X can finally enter the real world! Finally, I can liberate this world of all those who torment the weak for their sickening pleasure.” He turned to his laptop and opened up a Word file. During the time that Noah had been giving out viruses to other kids, he had asked them about the people who had treated them so badly. By the time he had finished, he had succeeded in compiling a long list of names and their locations.

“These people will all be my first targets and I’ll start with the biggest offender of them all.”

* * *

Lan, Maylu, Dex, Yai, Tory, Sean, Chaud, and Laika all sat at a large table in the SciLab conference room. Across from them were Dr. Hikari, Mr. Famous, Kifune, Manabe, Misaki, and the Net Agents. On the big screen on the wall was a map of the net, or at least what was left of it, and the remaining areas were diminishing rapidly.

“So what’s the situation?” asked Lan.

“With the net almost nearly gone, it won’t be long before that virus appears in the real world,” Kifune informed him, “At this very moment, we’re calling on all the Official NetBattlers in the world, especially the Net Saviors.”

“We have also contacted our other Net Agents in other parts of the world,” Commander Beef added, “Together, we plan to help you take that thing down.”

“It’s already too late to try to stop it online,” Misaki brought up, “We have no choice now but to fight it in the real world.”

“Couldn’t we just try to hack into Noah’s system and stop it from happening?” Yai inquired.

“If it was that easy, we would have already done it,” Manabe told her, “But unfortunately, VILE headquarters has been destroyed, as have all of its servers.”

“What about Noah’s laptop?” suggested Sean, “It seems to me like he’s got everything he needs on it.”

“If only it were that simple.” Mr. Famous crossed his arms over his chest and looked down at the table deep in thought. Meanwhile, everyone resumed watching the monitor as the remains of the net continued to diminish, counting down the minutes until the last pixel had been erased and Noah’s Omega Virus X would appear in the real world.

“Ten…” Lan whispered. Inside the PETs, the NetNavis were also watching the map.

“Nine…” MegaMan said quietly to himself.

“Eight…”

“Seven…”

“Six…”

“Five…”

“Four…”

“Three…”

“Two…”

“One…”

Exactly on the mark, the very last pixel vanished from the screen and the words “INTERNET DELETED” flashed across it.

* * *

A slot opened in the armrest of Noah’s chair and he inserted a VILE chip into it. He then picked up Interface’s mask and held it up.

“The time has come, my Omega Virus X!” he yelled, “Come and bring forth the punishment these fools deserve!” Noah lowered the mask over his head and it shrunk down until it fit him perfectly. All the screens around him began to flash with dark energy.

Outside, the first few notes of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy could be heard as the Leviathan’s cloaking device was deactivated and the massive aircraft became visible. Before the eyes of all those who had the misfortune to be there, the airship began to change. Its size expanded exponentially and each part of it changed shape until the craft had transformed into the Omega Virus X. It raised its arms over its head and let out and ground-shaking roar.

* * *

Everybody at SciLab jerked their heads up at the noise and looked towards the door.

“It’s here,” Lan muttered.

* * *

Inside the Omega Virus X, Noah sat in his chair with his plushie on his lap and his laptop in front of him surrounded by a vast and complex network of nerves.

“This is perfect,” he whispered, “Thanks to the modifications I made to Interface’s mask, I can see exactly what the Omega Virus X can see and control its actions.” Noah’s red and blue eyes scanned the image present before him. Down below, he could see several tanks rolling up and stopped along the street.

“Oh, goody. The army is here. This should be fun.” Noah reached out and placed his hand on a nearby nerve. As the tanks began to fire, their shots collided into an invisible barrier that rippled with energy with every hit. He touched another nerve and all the army weapon and vehicles were lifted up into the air. The Omega Virus X held out its hand and opened it, as well as the eye in its palm.

“Data Drain!”

On Noah’s command, glowing green rings surrounded the army forces and streams of energy shot out and struck them. They were destroyed within s few short seconds as their physical components were broken up and converted into data before being absorbed into the Omega Virus X.

* * *

Lan pounded his hands against the table and stood up.

“Lan!” Maylu gasped.

“We have to get started now,” Lan said to everyone, his tone completely serious, “We all just saw what Noah’s virus did to those soldiers. If we don’t stop him now, Earth is doomed. Noah doesn’t realize it, but he’s become everything he hates.”

“Lan’s right.” Misaki stood up and looked at the screen before facing to everyone, “Noah may be a genius, but he’s still a young child. And like other children his age, he’s very egocentric.”

“Translation?” asked Dex.

“He can’t see things the way other people do,” Sean answered.

“Then we shall get started immediately!” declared Commander Beef.

“I think there just might be a way to stop that thing from the inside,” Dr Hikari announced, “However, I’ll need a team of Navis to help.”

“Just leave it to us, Dad!” Lan and MegaMan assured. The both looked at each other and smiled. Even after their loss, they still were able to do things simultaneously.

“It’s time to stop Noah once and for all!”

* * *

Noah’s foot squished against the inner flesh of the Omega Virus X as he shifted himself around to reach a nerve that was slightly farther away from the others. Upon his touch, the eye on the enormous virus’ crotch widened and a solid beam shot out from its pupil. It shot down the road and pierced through a building, sending it collapsing on itself. Noah looked at the destruction and gave a satisfied smirk as the music continued to play, much to his enjoyment.

“The time has come for justice to be served.”

Some distance away, a robotic copy of Shuryou Gospel stood on the roof of a building watching the mayhem from afar.

I realize that I'm not going to review any more but there's some many. Ug.

First off. Even if you are going to refuse to change Laika, Stick with your original statement AND STICK WITH THE DUB NAMES. SanuikMan is NoodleMan, and They Yell NOO-OODLES!. I'm not sure what Udon even is, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. In the Dub it has been released that Kifune, is now Keifer. Or something like that. And Manabe is no, Manuela. Even so BreakMan was changed to RocketMan

Also. It's something about Dex. In the EXE universe, he isn't the smartest kid around, but he is more or less average. In other Chaptars, you have him as an bumbling fool who knows barely the basic to survive in Life. More like the intellegince of a seven year old in a clumsy body.

Next Item of Buisness. The whole damn Net Collisum enterence for the Omega Virius is just the same enterence for Gospel in "The Virius Beast". I knew you were taking parts of the Gospel Arc for some points in the , but not a whole damn scene. You see instead of useing that concept. You could of had them run to a part of the net (Oh, say Beach Street) in responed to disterbance, rather than useing the concept that has already been used, right down to ShiningMan being Deleted. On the same note, you used the basic same scene for AirMan being eaten buy Gospel, for Infinity Mijion being eaten by the Omega Virius.

That's all I have to say.

Hey, I just saw your chapter and I got to say that it's getting good. I hope that you keep this up. It seems to me that you've put a lot of time and effort into the chapters that you write. Oh, just wondering, where did you get the idea for Noah's (pardon my term) mental condition? I could tell that it's impressive. I hope that the ending to this season's College Years is going to be good. Then, take the time to give yourself a well earned vacation. By the way, are your really going to start a third season after this one? If so, then try doing it based off of the Stream Series. And I'm talking about the things that involve going to other times and worlds through time and space. Well, Later and keep up the good work.

I turn around and two new chapters come out.

So how did Bass get his body back if SciLab had it?

Anyways, as the others have said these two chapters are much better in writing style and description than the past several. You just might save this...

Overdone rips = Not good. Nevertheless, two out of three Mets.

And hey, Manuela is a perfectly acceptable pun.

You had avery interesting plot with the Leviathan becoming the Omega Virus X, and Noah controlling it from the inside. And you made a very detailed description of the Omega Virus X. Though I'm not very partial to the whole Omega Virus X introduction, since it was very similar to the Gospel introduction. But the bit of Infinity Mijion was pretty funny. If Bass is inside the Shuryou Gospel body, it will lead up to some interesting plots.

Captions. In the Dark Chip introduction episode the captions labeled her as Manuela (Of course {sorry, Sketch, but it drives me crazy} this is the same system that labeled Regal as a Net Navi named MysteryMan).

Manuela = Manuel. As in a game manuel.

I should watch with the captions on then...but I always thought the captions referred to Regal as "Mysterious Man." At least that's what I have seen.

And it still doesn't seem all too much of a pun for Manabe to be Manuela. Makes her sound Hispanic. There's also the fact that a game guide is spelled "M-A-N-U-A-L,"....but that's besides the point, I think.

Since when have I ever spelled anything correctly? *points to error-ridden fiction, sighs* Again, I stick my stonecube in my mouth... :stonecube: Oh well, live and learn.

Originally, it was 'MysteriousMan', but after the second or third episode he changed his name to 'MysteryMan'.

Its not so much as them mislabeling him MysteryMan, its the formatting. They smash 'Mystery' and 'Man' together like they do 'MegaMan', and then they italicize it the same they do 98% of the time when a Navi speaks. (Technically, its because you can't see his mouth moving, but there has to be a better way to do it.)

But I'm dragging this off topic, shutting up now.

The Omega Virus X’s intro was supposed to be similar to Gospel’s. However, Gospel absorbed the Navis. The Omega Virus X Data Drained them. There IS a different between absorption and Data Drain.

Also, I’ve never heard of Manabe’s dub name. But I’ll admit that I’m guilty of knowing about Kifune’s dub name. I just think Kifune sounds better.
-----------------------------------
CHAPTER 2-49
Army of Terror!

Lightning flashed across the sky as the White House stood completely silent. Somewhere out in the garden, a secret trapdoor opened up and three men in black suits came out.

“Please watch your step, Mr. President.” Two of them reached into the trapdoor and pulled out the president of Netopia. After they had helped him out, they turned back see the Omega Virus X approaching. They all watched as its chest eye fired a laser at the White House and blasted it into oblivion. All that remained of Netopian president’s estate was a large crater filled with burning debris. Several pieces of the White House itself were flung in various directions and the president’s bodyguards were killed on impact.

“This is all too easy,” Noah laughed as he started to move the Omega Virus X away. On the other side of the fence, he could see several people standing there watching.

“You there!” The eyes on the Omega Virus X’s hind knees turned to look at the one who had spoken, which happened to be the president. Noah sighed and then spoke out loud.

“Project simulation!” Outside on the White House lawn, a beam of light shone out from the Omega Virus X and the image of Lord Viron appeared.

“What is it?” he asked. The president stepped forward and looked at the hologram of Noah’s alterego straight into the eyes.

“What’s the meaning of this?” he demanded angrily.

“I’m just doing the world a favor,” Lord Viron replied, “All I’m doing is trying to help all those who are constantly being tormented by others who find pleasure in harming them.”

“But did you really have to blow up the White House?”

“People cheered.”

“Those were the Democrats!”

“Well it’s too late to change what’s done. But there’s still time to finish the job.” And with that, the image of Lord Viron disappeared and the Omega Virus X turned on the president.

* * *

Yutaka stepped into the SciLab lobby and looked around.

“Hey Yutaka!” The thick-haired boy turned his head towards the direction of the voice and saw Lan running towards him.

“Hey, Lan!” he greeted back as the headbanded NetBattler stopped in front of him.

“I’m glad you could make it,” Lan sighed as he tried to catch his breath.

“I got here as fast as I could. So what’s the emergency?”

“We’re trying to get as many people together to launch a strike against leader of VILE,” Lan briefed Yutaka as the two of them headed to the room where everyone would be meeting, “We think we can hack into his computer, but it’s going to require a whole team of Navis.”

“I see.” The two them stepped into the meeting room.

“Hi, Yutaka,” Misaki greeted.

“Hi, Dad! Good to see you, too,” Yutaka greeted back.

“Dad?” Lan looked at Yutaka, then at Misaki, then back again.

“That’s right, Lan. Yutaka is my son,” the Net Policeman answered. Lan instantly fell over from out of surprise, but he quickly got back up.

“Well, I guess that clarifies something.” The door slid open and in stepped a red-haired man in a bright-red uniform. He brought up his hand and saluted.

“Commander Mitani Hikari of Red Alert reporting!”

“Eh? Mitani’s here, too?” Lan wondered aloud.

“So are we!” The brown-haired teen turned around and nearly fell over yet again at the sight of Hiro, Yuki, Cid, and Dan entering.

“What are you guys doing here?”

“We followed Yutaka,” Hiro answered.

A short while later, Lance also came by from the university. Not long after that, Higsby and Shuko walked in through the door.

“Wow, Lan. Just look at all these people who’re coming to help!” MegaMan exclaimed as he looked at the number of people in the room.

“Don’t forget about us!” a new voice called out. One of the computer monitors in the room lit up and JunkMan appeared on the screen.

“Hey, it’s JunkMan!” Dex exclaimed.

“I have come, as well,” a deep voice added. Another screen switched on by itself, displaying Zero.

“So who’s going to be leading the charge?” Yai asked as she and Sean walked into the room together.

“We’ve decided that Colonel would be the best Navi for that job,” the crimson-eyed boy answered, “Anyway Yai, why won’t you live with us next year? It’ll be fun.”

“It’s tempting, Sean, but I’d much rather stay at home and take the helicopter or plane to school. Living in the dorms last year made me think and I found that it’s much more pleasant to live where you have all the luxuries available.”

“So? Chaud’s rich and he’s living with us.”

“That’s another reason. I don’t think I’ll be able to stand being under the same roof as Chaud.”

“He’s giving up his own luxurious life and living like all us normal people.”

“Are you comparing me to Chaud?” Yai shrieked.

“No, it’s not like that!” Sean quickly replied as he tried to save the conversation. At that exact moment, Chaud walked by.

“Well Yai, if you want to stay at home, I can understand. But you’ll never be able to survive if Gabcom were to suddenly go bankrupt.” Yai turned to Sean.

“When’s the move?”

Back over to Chaud, he was just getting himself a cup of coffee when he heard a familiar voice coming from behind him.

“Hello, Eugene.”

“Hello, Stella.” Chaud finished pouring his coffee and took a sip of it, but he didn’t turn around to face his ex-girlfriend, “I take it you’re the hacker we need to get into Noah’s computer.”

“You know me too well, Eugene. Then again, I also know quite a bit about you.” Chaud didn’t comment, but instead just put the coffee pot back on the burner and walked off just as Zekk entered the room with Mamoru wheeling himself in right after him.

Meanwhile, all the Navis who would be partaking in the attack were gathering inside the conference room’s main computer. IceMan and AquaMan were chatting excitedly with one another when a familiar voice reached their ears.

“IceMan and AquaMan de puku!”

“BubbleMan!” The two chibi NetNavis ran over to their friend and the three of them engaged in a group hug.

“You’re helping us, too?” IceMan asked excitedly.

“Of course! We are friends, after all de puku.”

“Yay!” IceMan and AquaMan cheered in joy and they, along with BubbleMan, joined hands and started dancing around in a circle. Meanwhile, MegaMan and ProtoMan were standing away from the others looking down on them from a higher platform.

“I’m amazed so many people actually came to help!” the blue Navi exclaimed, “I haven’t seen everybody this united since…” His voice trailed off as he tried to think.

“Last year?” suggested ProtoMan.

“Okay, so it wasn’t that long ago.”

“Still, I’m impressed, MegaMan.” ProtoMan turned and looked back at the crowd of Navis below them, “You certainly have a lot of friends.”

“I was just hoping that I wouldn’t have to get any of them involved.” MegaMan sighed as he turned around and logged out.

* * *

Several of the SciLab staff members were busy working on the computers keeping track of the Omega Virus X and its activities. Dr. Hikari and Mr. Famous walked over to them and examined the world map on the screen. A large red blip indicated the location of the Omega Virus X.

“Has anything abnormal happened yet?” Yuuichiro asked.

“None so far,” one of the scientists reported, “Ever since its attack in Netopia, it’s been heading back towards Electopia.”

“That’s very unusual,” the head scientist of SciLab noted.

“But you must remember that our foe is just a child,” Mr. Famous reminded. Dr. Hikari was about to say something when one of the scientists yelled out for him.

“Dr. Hikari!”

“What is it?” he asked as he ran over to the one who had called his name.

“We’re suddenly picking up several signals all across the globe!” the scientist informed him, “They’re not as big as the one we’ve been tracking, but they hold the same energy signatures.”

“What? Use the SciLab satellite and get a visual at once!”

“Yes, sir!” The scientist typed away furiously and after a few minutes, a video image appeared on his screen.

“God help us all,” whispered Mr. Famous.

“Hey Dad, we heard a yell,” Lan called as he climbed the stairs up to the terminal area, “What’s wrong?”

“Lan, you better take a look at his,” Dr. Hikari told his son. Lan walked over to where his father stood and looked at the screen. His pupils shrunk when he saw the image on the display.

“Those are…Ultima Viruses!”

Indeed, the images that were being sent to SciLab via its satellite were of none other than that of the Ultima Virus. On top of that, several copies of the deadly creature were seem roaming around, as well.

“Noah’s created an entire army of Ultima Viruses!” MegaMan exclaimed.

“And he’s using them to terrorize the other parts of the world,” added Mr. Famous.

* * *

Cars crashed into one another as their drivers braked suddenly. Some of them didn’t even wait for the vehicle to stop before they got out. The streets of Heaven’s City were in a state of mass panic as people pushed and shoved as they ran from the Ultima Virus as it chased them down. The crowd stopped in horror as a second one appeared in front of them and cut them off. From the alleys and the backstreets, Raoul and several of the other Netopian kids watched all the chaos.

* * *

Princess Pride stood by her window in the palace and watched in horror as the Ultima Viruses lay destruction to her country. Unable to bear it any longer, she turned away from the horrific scene. Her eyes fell on her desk, where an old framed photograph of her and Lan stood. Draped across the top was one of Lan’s headbands. She walked across the room, picked up the blue strip of cloth, and held it tightly in her hands.

“Please save us, Lan,” she whispered, “You’re our only hope.”

* * *

Back at SciLab, everyone was starting to get impatient. The news of the Ultima Viruses roaming the Earth had made them all antsy and on edge.

“How’s the hacking going, Stella?” Lan asked.

“His security system is very complex,” Stella answered, “It’s going to take a while before I can get in. In the meantime, someone has to patrol the perimeter of SciLab in case any of those viruses get near.”

“Sean and Laika are already on it. I was just checking by before I headed out.” Lan then took off for the door.

“Be careful out there, Lan,” Yuuichiro cautioned.

“Don’t worry about me, Dad,” Lan assured his father. And with that, he took off.

“How much longer until you can get in?” Mr. Famous asked.

“I can’t give you an exact time, but I’ll notify you once I’m in,” replied Stella.

* * *

Sean was sitting on the edge of the SciLab roof staring out through a pair of binoculars when Lan arrived.

“Anything yet?” he asked upon his exit from the building.

“So far, nothing,” Sean reported.

“Where’s Laika?”

“The other side of the roof.” Lan turned around and saw the soldier from Sharo standing facing the opposite direction through his own set of binoculars.

“Hey Lan, I’ve been thinking,” MegaMan piped up, “If Noah’s really trying to accomplish his so-called goal, then what purpose would he have to come to SciLab? Chances are his own tormentors aren’t even here.”

“Now that you mention it, it makes sense as to why he’s not coming this way.” Lan took out his PET and looked at his NetNavi, “So what do you think we should do?”

“Let’s go back in and check with Dad. It looks like we’re going to have to chase Noah down.”

* * *

“I’m finally in!” Stella’s announcement caused everyone to look up from what they were doing and turn their attention towards the main screen. Inside the system, all the Navis watched as a portal opened up before them.

“Well done,” Mr. Famous commended before he turned to face the others, “You’re all in Colonel’s hands now! Do as he tells you.”

Back inside the system, Colonel stepped forward and looked at the portal.

“Colonel, sir, what’s wrong?” asked CrashMan.

“We won’t be able to just charge in,” the caped Navi replied, “Something’s guarding the way and that thing is coming.”

“I can sense it, too,” said Zero. All the Navis backed away as the portal began to shift. The VILE insignia slowly appeared over it and a green dragon with the upper half of a human located right in the center of its back armed with a spear and a shield floated out.

“Is that a Navi de puku?” asked BubbleMan.

“No, it’s a virus!” IceMan exclaimed.

“I am the gatekeeper, Depth Dragoon!” The virus looked at the Navis that stood in front of him and smirked.

“We have to defeat him and get through!” Commander Beef declared, “Net Agents, move out!”

“Yes, sir!” BlackRose and Mysteriu activated their PET displays as SharkMan, SkullMan, and WoodMan ran in.

“Destroy him quickly!” ordered Colonel. He morphed his right hand into his sword and charged with everyone else right behind him.

“I find it amusing that you even think you have a chance against me!” Depth Dragoon chortled, “This will be interesting, indeed! Thunder Clap!” He banged his shield and spear together and a blast of lightning shot out at the Navis. Colonel took a mighty leap upward and evaded the blast with ease.

“Electricity is no match for wood!” WoodMan announced, “Seed Buster!” His hand morphed into a buster-type weapon and he fired several seeds at Depth Dragoon. The virus raised his shield and the attack bounced right off.

“You’ll have to do better than that!” he laughed.

“We intend do!” Minuet yelled, “Hiraikotsu!” As she drew back her arm and flung her boomerang forward, SamuraiMan reached into his robe and produced three kunais.

“Kozuka!” The noble NetNavi threw his weapons forward and they struck Depth Dragoon at the same time as Minuet’s.

“MachineMan! Launcher Battlechip in, download!” Cid’s PET instantly registered the chip and a big green laser cannon appeared in front of MachineMan, as well as a matching battery pack equipped with a smaller blaster on what appeared to be a pair of short wings.

“This’ll deal some damage more powerful than my arm blaster.” The mechanical Navi held out his left arm and the weapon connected itself to his limb. The battery pack then flew over to him and connected to his right shoulder. Now equipped with his new weapons, he pointed the cannon forward and let his targeting lens zero in on Depth Dragoon.

“Target locked!” MachineMan grinned at his internal computer’s words and pulled the trigger. A powerful white and red energy beam shot out and pierced through the side of Depth Dragoon’s body.

“Great shot!” Cid cheered.

“Don’t celebrate just yet,” Dan warned, “TankMan, blast him into the next dimension!”

“You got it, Dan! Hyper Cannon!” Several shells erupted from TankMan’s cannon as he bombarded Depth Dragoon with all his firepower. He ceased fire soon after and watched for the result. Everyone gasped as the virus floated out of the smoke completely unscathed. Even the hole that MachineMan had blasted into him had healed.

“What is this?”

“You pathetic fools,” Depth Dragoon chortled, “I was designed to absorb any attacks that were of my element.”

“But we didn’t hit you with any electrical attacks!” SamuraiMan argued.

“No, but I did! Terra Thunder!” Lightning poured down on Depth Dragoon and his wounds instantly healed.

“That doesn’t mean we still can’t defeat you. We’ll just keep on whittling down your health without giving you a chance to recover! Let’s see how you stand up to this!” challenged Red, “Crimson Vortex!” He held out his free hand and a tornado of red energy rose up from under Depth Dragoon.

“Hold him steady!” NovaMan commanded, “Nova Flare!” A golden energy beam shot up into the air from his halo until it was completely out of sight. A few seconds later, there was a twinkle and the beam came crashing down on top of Depth Dragoon.

“Number Balls!” NumberMan raised his arms and a trio of black lottery balls rose up and flew towards the virus.

“Junk Cubes!” JunkMan summoned three masses of compressed scrap and flung them forward.

“RockCube Battlechip in, download!” Dex inserted the chip into his PET and a stone Rubix cube appeared in front of GutsMan. The large Navi punched the side of it and sent it flying at Depth Dragoon.

“Don’t make me laugh!” All three projectile attacks hit the electric dragon at once, but he emerged completely unharmed.

“Bone Stalker!” SkullMan’s arms detached themselves from his body as they spun towards the virus while SharkMan launched three Fin Cutters at him and Spider had the luck to fire a Straight Flush.

“Don’t you Navis ever tire of being stupid?” Depth Dragoon mocked as he slipped away from the attacks.

* * *

While everyone was busy battling online, Lan, Chaud, Sean, and Laika had gone out to take care of some of the Ultima Viruses. The four of them Cross Fused quickly and went their separate ways, trying to cover as much ground in as little time as possible.

“There’s one!” R MegaMan landed on a rooftop and looked down at the grey virus as it rampaged through the street.

“We’re lucky, Lan,” MegaMan said from within, “These Ultima Viruses don’t have the barrier like the original one.”

“I guess they can’t move as long as they keep their defenses up. But enough about that, let’s just kill it!”

“My thoughts exactly, Lan. Pick a good one.”

“I’ve got just the one in mind. Volcano Battlechip!” R MegaMan’s hand transformed into a volcano and he aimed it straight at the Ultima Virus. A fiery glow emanated from the mouth of his weapon as he launched a shot of lava at the beast. His attack hit its mark and the Ultima Virus turned around and roared.

“You call that a good one?” MegaMan asked incredulously, “All you did was make it mad.”

“We’ll it’s facing us and that’s just what I wanted. Cannonball Battlechip!” R MegaMan’s Volcano disappeared and a black steel ball appeared in his hand. He brought his arm back and threw it with all his might. The ball flew through the air and struck the Ultima Virus in the core. It took a step back and roared as its body was deleted.

“You can’t expect me to hit the core if I don’t have a clear shot at it.” R MegaMan lowered his mouthguard and wiped his finger under his nose while grinning like an idiot.

“Okay, I see what you mean, Lan. But next time, try not to waste a chip just for getting its attention.” MegaMan sighed and slumped forward.

* * *

The Ultima Virus swung out with its arms, but completely missed its target as R ProtoMan twisted his body through the air and using the creature’s own movements to his advantage. Whenever it launched a punch at him, he turned himself around so that he landed on its arm with his feet and pushed himself away.

“Time to end this,” he said to himself, “HeroSword!” His right hand changed into a brown hilt and a long shining blade sprang forward. He landed on the Ultima Virus’ hand and pushed himself upward to its chest. With one swift movement, he stabbed his sword into its core and the monster was deleted.

* * *

R SearchMan looked down all the streets that led out from the intersection he was standing in and saw that an Ultima Virus occupied each one and all four of them were closing in on him.

“Prism Battlechip!” He glanced upward as the shining crystal appeared overhead. He took aim with his Scope Gun and fired. The shot hit the surface of the Prism and it spread out in every direction, piercing all four Ultima Viruses’ cores. They collapsed and their bodies were erased in a shower of pixels.

* * *

“FireGospel Battlechip!” R Axl took aim with his Gospel head and a fiery red beam of energy ripped from its throat and pierced through an entire line of Ultima Viruses. As soon as the beam had subsided, the grey-haired Net Savior could see he had created a fine line of holes in all their chests where their cores had once been. He smiled as he watched them fall like dominoes.

* * *

PrismMan and CrashMan fired their weapons simultaneously at Depth Dragoon, but the dragon refused to go down.

“Thunder Brigade!” His spear began to spark and he thrust it upward, casting bolts of lightning into the air only to have them rain back down on the Navis.

“Bubble Parade!” Several bubbles formed over IceMan, AquaMan, and BubbleMan and protected them from the attack. As each bubble was popped, a fish-shaped missile was released and shot out at Depth Dragoon.

“Thank you, BubbleMan!” IceMan and AquaMan squealed happily.

“Nothing you use can defeat me! Ultra Giga Thunder!” Suddenly, several Wood Towers rose up around Depth Dragoon and the tops came together over his head, blocking the attack from coming in contact with him.

“Looks like this is the end for you, virus!” WoodMan laughed, “I’ve cut you off from your own attacks, so you cannot heal yourself!”

“I think it’s my turn now!” announced Roll, “Roll Arrow!” Her hand morphed into a pink bow and she released the string, sending a heart-shaped arrow at Depth Dragoon that pierced his chest.

“You underestimate me! Even without the power to heal myself, I cannot be defeated so easily!” Suddenly, two swords flashed past as Colonel and Zero cut off his arms with their blades.

“GaiaBlade Battlechip in, download!” Glyde’s hand turned into a large blade with vines wrapped around the hilt and he rushed towards Depth Dragoon. With one swing, he removed his dragon head and jumped back.

“You bring shame to the name of dragons!” DragonMan roared, “Dragon Flare!” He brought up his dragon head arm and fired several energy blasts from its mouth at Depth Dragoon. Without his weapons, the virus couldn’t defend himself from the attacks.

“Blast you confounded Navis!” He was quickly silenced when Zero smashed his fist against his face.

“Oh shut up, already.” The blond red-armored Navi passed his Z-Saber through Depth Dragoon’s body thrice before Serenade dealt the final blow with a Saint Light.

“The way is open now!” Colonel announced, “Everyone, let’s move out!” He ran through the portal and everyone else followed him.

* * *

A beep from his laptop caused Noah to pull the mask off his head and look at the screen.

“NetNavis have entered my computer?” He set the mask down on his lap and shifted himself in his chair so that he could reach his laptop with ease. He pulled the portable computer closer and looked at it.

“Perhaps I should give them a surprise.” A dark smile crept onto the boy’s face as he typed away on the keyboard. After a few minutes, he pushed his laptop aside and placed the mask back over his head.

“Partial Pulse in!” he yelled.

Led by Colonel, the Navis ran through a vast domain of emptiness. The surroundings gave it an appearance similar to outer space. Even the floor itself was part of the effect, being nothing more than a transparent grid.

“For a laptop computer, this place is pretty big,” Roll noted.

“There’s no time to worry about that now,” PrismMan informed her as they continued run. Up ahead, Colonel could see a staircase of floating crystalline rectangles leading up to another level.

That must be it, he thought. He suddenly stopped, through, when he saw a figure standing in the way. Everyone else came to a halt soon after. Roll, GutsMan, Glyde, and IceMan just gaped when they saw who it was that was blocking them.

“Noah?”

Indeed, it was Noah. There was still quite a lot of distance between him and the stairs as he stood there in front of the Navis with both hands in his hoodie pocket and his right arm holding his plushie against his side. He smirked and let a small chuckle escape him.

“So you actually made it this far. I’m impressed,” he commended.

“What are you doing here, Noah?” Roll demanded.

“And more importantly, how did you get here?” asked Glyde.

“It’s really quite simple. I Pulsed in a part of my conscious just enough so I could still maintain control over the Omega Virus X,” Noah answered.

“GutsMan not stand around for this! Guts Hammer!” GutsMan slammed his fists against the floor and sent a shockwave straight at Noah. To everyone’s surprise, the attack passed right through him.

“I also Pulsed in just enough of my conscious so that I couldn’t be harmed by any of your attacks,” the child prodigy added. Zero reached out for Noah and his hand passed through him.

“A projection?”

“Exactly.”

“Well if you’re just a projection, then you can’t possibly stop us,” SharkMan snarled, “We’ll just walk right through you.”

“I beg to differ.” Noah took his left hand out from his pocket and swung out his arm. As if on cue, countless windows opened up behind him. He smirked as he brought his hand up in front of himself, his fingers positioned to be snapped.

“You see, you’re not the only one with an army.”

“It can’t be!” IceMan exclaimed.

“Oh, yes it is!” Noah snapped his fingers and the windows burst into countless fragments as a whole army of viruses poured out from them and lined themselves up behind the young genius.

“These are all…” Glyde started.

“Yes. These are all the deleted viruses!” The Navis took a step back and looked around. Noah’s viruses far outnumbered them. Not even NumberMan could figure out how many there were.

“We’re in trouble,” CrashMan muttered.

* * *

R MegaMan took a deep breath and slowly let it out after bringing down yet another Ultima Virus. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and he groaned.

“Another one?” he sighed, “This is getting tiring.” He turned and lethargically prepared to fire an attack, but his heart started to beat faster when he saw that the cause of the tremors was none other than the Omega Virus X.

“MegaMan, we’re in trouble.”

“Big time.”

* * *

Noah held out his hand and pointed at the Navis.

“Attack!”

Boy, this is something that you don't see on the internet everyday. This could be the final showdown between Noah with an army of Ultima Viruses against those trying to oppose him. I hope that nothing really bad happens to the kid. I still feel sorry for him being tormented and bullied as a baby. I guess that's just the way I am for when I read good stories. I hope that this someday could get published in a series of novels. By the way, is the third season going to be your last? I'm sure that it must be tiring trying to come up with new ideas. Well, keep up the good work and if this does get published into a book someday, I'll be the first to by it and let the world know. Later!

Eh, it dropped back into ripping episodes in this chapter... But it was still enjoyable... but somewhat bland, I don't think any of the good guys actually got hit in this chapter. Kinda one-sided.

Minor question, since [spoil:78485f04f2]Maylu's got the ability to Cross Fuse now (even if it is via the Rush Synchro Chip)[/spoil:78485f04f2] are you going to use that concept?

On second thought, please don't... (please don't ask)
