The most useless chip would have to be Geyser. Partly because I could not get that stupid chip to work. _________________

Just to explain this, BugBomb throws a bomb three spaces ahead. It then explodes and some effect occurs (confusion, HP loss at Custom screen, etc.)
Hole only powers up DS navi chips. |
and holes let you play the Serenade and some other chips in BN3 |

Oh give me a break. Read the other posts already. It seems like everyone's idea of a useless chip is either Slasher, Geyser, or one of the elemental MegaChips. All because they just don't know how it works, and obviously don't want to know too badly... |

i think slasher in bn3 is the most useless piece of crap ever. escape is a pretty good default chip when you don't want to fight. |

Perhaps you should take the time and read the past six pages. We have refuted time and time again that Slasher is a VERY useful chip. Oh boy. Raijin won't be quite happy... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! I already explained Geyser and how it is NOT useless. Stop being lazy and go back and read VERY carefully every time you see my Tesla av. -.- _________________

slasher, guyser and salamander are very usefull like midnight said. You just have to know how to use it. Slasher requires a few buttons to be pressed if I remember correctly and guyser needs to be thrown at the right time in the right place. _________________

i still don't agree. slasher needs an enemy to be in your area to work. it's simply crap.
as for salmander, geyser, etc. you need to use that style. pretty much useless unless you have the correct style, or you're using the master style p.a.
sandman exe:
i do know how to use those chips. i don't think that slasher needs a few buttons to be pressed, just a. |

Repair(what ever the obstruction repairing chip is in the english version)
Even though I'm a heavy Stone Cube user, that chip is pretty useless...
Each Stone cube has 200 HP, but there isn't much need to restore that value because you're either A: going to use the cube as a weapon/Poltergeist Juice/Junkman SP Juice, or B: Your enemy can destroy it in one hit.
Panic Mode: Confuses the enemy if you're confused >.> Meh
Another Mind: What does it even do?
Guts Punch: Leaves you open for attack Pushing the enemy is a plus, but you have Air Shoot for that.
Yukashita Mole: Many attacks can still harm you while you're hiding in the hole.
Going into Navi chips
Topman: Has a crazy range, doesn't cause enough damage
Laserman: While he is a godsend in a linked battle because of all of his various effects, in the normal game, he doesn't seem too useful.
Cutman: Amajing damage, but... lousy range _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

When it comes to navi chips, I gotta say the new Gutsman is pretty useless. He used to OWN because he'd hit a 3 wide by X long range, nailing everything in sight AND cracking the panels.
Nowadays, his chip does blah damage and it just drops random debris on three panels, usually missing any targets around. _________________

I have to disagree with that judgement. Topman can deal out huge amounts of damage because he hits so many times. True, you'll only get all of the hits in certain locations, but there are way to convince a player to move there (if you need to at all).
Double Point, Topman SP, Attack+30, Navi+20
[Topman's damage (60) + Double Point (60) + Attack+30 (30) + Navi+20 (20)] x Number of hits Topman SP can deal (7)
170 x 7
1190
That's a pretty nice number in my opinion. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Topman's range isn't that crazy, you just have to make sure the target is either in the center or front-center and have an otherwise clear field to ensure max damage. You can still get pretty good damage sacrificing a top or too as well. Topman is one of my favourite EXE4 navichips. |

I totally agree with you, Topman is a very useful chip. If you have to worry about your opponent just area steal once. If you're lucky, you can get a * code and then have the other chips you need. It would be really good if your opponent was in the middle panel. You steal those two then immedietly use Topman. It's all about timing though. _________________

We've discussed that this is good with things like PoisPharaoh.

Yes, but when you've already piled four Invis * into the folder, this is a good backup defense chip. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Lessee here. If I recall correctly, StoneCubes can take about 200 or so before smashing. PoisPharaoh is lightly tougher, as it can withstand about 350. The previous number is just one step ahead of a shot in the dark. All I know for sure is that it is greater than 200. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! One of the pages at GameFAQs had that information about Object HPs. If I remember correctly it's not an easy one to find though. Hrm. Well, I'm not gonna be the one to hunt it down.
Another Mind is Mind Bender, which I believe was only in BN2 and BCC. I can't remember how it works in BN2, but in BCC I would have to agree on its uselessness. I can't figure out what it's supposed to do other than possibly decrease your chances at a successful Slot-In, or maybe it just reduces your target's accuracy. |
