It's finally been a month since the first topic was made...
and I want to talk about my favorite obssession lately... Initial D
Does anyone watch the Fan-subbed anime?
does anyone play the game?
let's post our stories and what not...
here's mine for today's play....

Took the bus to get to the arcade...
Got there, there was like 4 kids there so I had to wait a lot...
When I did go up I raced on Akagi... Lost by 900... So I just did more racing, losing to Keisuke every single time and then this dude with a Trueno Comes in and starts PWNing the RX-8ers with it... He won quite a few games so I wanted to make up for my many losses and did Myogi Wet...
Overtook on the startup and yet he was still on my tail...
on the curve right before the grande curve he over took because he took a tighter line... I was chasing by -5 until the second lap where I over took on the grand Curve...
I then had to be under pressure with him tailing the whole time... I had to keep waving and I still was able to turn tightly to get farther...
Third Lap was where I was purely at 203 km/h the whole time and he was at 198 from an accidental crash trying to pass...
So by the grand curve I was about 100 m away... So I just concentrated on getting tight lines and won by I think 175...
Then an RX-8er (okay... most of the people there play RX- proceeded to hand my Ass on a silver platter on Happo... Then I raced back... Myogi Wet...
First race I lost...
Second race was...
I lost the Start up...
Then attempted to pass on the curve before the grand curve... I didn't do it right...
Grand Curve: front wall-raped and lost much speed... he was now at 200 while I was at 197...
By the second lap he was about 70 m ahead... I then calmed down and did the tight lines that he didn't use to catch up to 10 m by the grand Curve...
Out of the grand curve he was 5m ahead...
I then just did one tight line then folwed for as while and by the grade curve I just had to pass and got ahead by 5m...
By the time I won I was 10m...
After that I made a Capp... Just so I can have an understeerer, a normal (EVO IV) and a Drifter (Capp)
I then finshed the day with a few more losses to Keisuke...
my time improved by two seconds...
2'42"xx 3 more seconds and I can beat him...
I fixed my problems as you said according to my map...
but now... Since I'm gaining more speed than usual on the first hairpin, I pass him but then it's like my wheel locks up and it takes a sec to fix it...
either that or I need to loosen up my wheel... or I'm going too inside and trying to do the fading line...
I improved by now only crashing on the first of the snakepins... and the mini-coaster right before th V-turn is much cleaner... |

Here in Chile, we don't have the arcades, but I'm a great fan of Initial D!!! *gasp*
My favourite Car is the Takahashi Brother's Mazda Rotary RX-7 F(C or D)3S ^^ I like a lot!! :D then... mmm the Nakazato Takeshi's Nissan Skyline GT-R32 ^^ (Well... actually I drive a Miata not well tuned for racing... but someday I'm going to modify it till the last metal piece!! :haha: xD)
Mmm... I love Initial D's soundtracks! ^^ (Just Eurobeat!! How I love it! :D)
Mmm... well... about the series and the games... I play the PSX game sometimes and the PC game =) I'm not too good I think XD

I have to Agree with ya, I love the FC-3S as well,
I even have a Mazda FC-3S on Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, That has the same coloring as Ry Takahashi's FC.
Look out Arcade, Here comes the "White Comet"!
I only have the First three Books to Initial D, but I've read through book either 8 or 9.
I hope I can find the next one and finish the Series.
this might be against the Rules, and if it is, I will edit it out,
but does anyone know of any Manga Group Sites that do the Scanlations of it? Kinda like Naruto Manga Returns does for Naruto?

I have three cars...
The R34 (Worst turning in the game!!!) that I use the most
I had so much fun pretty much killing a FT Trueno...
I then have my EVO IV That I use to race people that chooe Irohazaka on me...
and my Capp just for fun...
none are full tuned and only my R34 had the most levels beaten... I HATE KEISUKE!!

Well, I also Have a Fairlady Z on Wangan and a Lancer Evolution VIII
But the FC3S Mazda Savanna-R is my Fully Tuned ride.
