WTF? *twitch, twitch* Could it be the end? (Zero 4 Spoilers)

Which leaves me wondering - is Rockman nearing the end of its life? A brief list of each series and their states:

Classic Series - All but dead. It's been so long, that Rockman 9 has reached a legendary status equal to that of the Book of Revelations.

X Series - Still going strong, but that's only because Capcom kept it alive even after Inafune tried to end it at X5. Who knows what the future will bring, especially considering that Inafune is now one of the brass at Capcom?

[spoil:a963074a1c]Zero Series - Inafune seems to have finally killed off Zero. Seemingly for good. In his own series. Since X got snuffed out in Zero 3, there's no chance of a Rockman X^2 series.[/spoil:a963074a1c]

Capcom might choose to continue the series, but now that Inafune is now even higher up the ladder, he might be able to sway it away and leave [spoil:a963074a1c]Zero to rest in pieces.[/spoil:a963074a1c]

Wasn't Zero Infafune's favorite creation - so much so that the X series was created solely to prelude the Zero series? Go figure.

Legends - Forsaken. Personally, I hope it stays that way, but Inafune might choose to continue it now that [spoil:a963074a1c]Zero got vaporized during atmospheric reentry.[/spoil:a963074a1c]

EXE - Right now, it's going very strong, but when the fad dies out, so will the EXE series. A handfull of devoted fans won't make money, so once sales drop, I'm betting they'll move on.

The future looks grim. It's inevitable, but I hope it'll be a good long time (at least another decade) before Rockman kicks the bucket.

You forgot the guardiens, they go and pick up zero and make them one of their own.

If you haven;'t realized that there is now a v symbol instead of the omega symbol against the bosses. It's not the end./

Plus zero has more than one helmet.

Hey I'm a fan of the EXE series and I'll stay one for the foreseeable future, but I'm willing to bet that once it hits the 8th or 9th, maybe 10th game, sales are going to start dropping sharply.

[spoil:d215efdec3]And Raijin, it's true that Zero has taken some pretty bad spills in the past and ended up coming back, alive and well, but he barely managed to destroy Bairu, got stuck on the station as it got blown up (presumably getting maimed in the process, if not smashed to bits), then had a the whole atmoshpere to contend with. Either this is the end, or he'll pull an X6 and the one or two absolutely vital circuits that make Zero who he is will remain perfectly intact, and the former generals...[/spoil:d215efdec3]

Zero is like Sigma, or Dr.Wily. Everytime you think he's gone, he shows up yet again in the next game. He'll be back in Zero 5.

Keiji wanted the X sseries to be about Zero alone, but was told that that would alienate fans of the original series, so X was made the main characer.

[spoil:b18c6e9fdb]I doubt Zero is gone.... Even if Keiji leaves the Zero series, he'll come back. If they do leave him dead, I will be happy that they had some integrity[/spoil:b18c6e9fdb]

Maybe if the Z series is dead, we can have focus on the Dash series(Not likely since Studio 2 is making the dynamo known as EXE) Or the Classics. I'd hate all the focus to go into X(which is garbage by now.)

A 6th Rockman series in between Zero and Dash?(That's 3000+/- years they have to work with.) after the Reploid wars are over? I dunno..

The chances that he died for good is pretty low. I mean, how many times have we thought he died but he always make a comeback? I seriously doubted that he died, or Inafune seriously just want to end this series once and for all.
