Bass and Treble. As the topic name suggests, notice their names?

Bass, as in meaning Forte... as in Loud Note. But Bass, in musical terms too means the loud booming noise our stereos make.

Treble is the opposite. So, Bass and Treble. Get it?

Yeah, I noticed that... years ago. I think the fact that these wo setting apear next to each other on most radios gives it away. ^_~

it took me a LOT of time to notice... saying that i've been playing battlenetwork for three years now and x sereis for about a year and half...

at least i didnt even know what gospel's x-series name was o.o;;

Forte and Gospel aren't in the X series, they never made the jump from the original series as did the others. The only two to make that jump were Doctor Light and Doctor Wily.

legends i mean... i think thats what i mean...

so also notice.. zero was made by wily after king was destroyed by forte/rockman.. but then how did zero end up in x? im all confused on the whole storyline...

First, noticed the Bass/Treble Forte/Gospel thing a looooooooong time ago. Probably when I first figured out what their names were.

Second, Zero survives a'cuz Capcom wants 'im to. Actually I think they worked that idea in after one or two X games. May be wrong there, though. Put simple, Zero is Wily's last creation as X is -most likely- Dr.Light's last creation. X was sealed away, and I'm not really sure what happened to Zero, but somewhere down the road he was found - see the Zero/Sigma battle scene in MMX Four.

The entire Classic series has a thing with musical names. Rock and Roll, anyone? Or Tango, Blues, Beat, etc.?

Rush has been around since at least the seventies... I believe their first album was "Rush" and came out in Seventy-Four.

I really don't know why they named Rush, Rush though... it's kinda weird.. but I guess not EVERY name has musical reference.. look at Auto. I still think he's Mister Roboto, though. Razz

As for the EXE characters...there's also Serenade in the games and manga and Slur in the anime.

Rightot, Fliptop, and Dr. Right don't fit into the pattern...

Also interesting note:

-Forte = Bass
-Gospel = Treble
-Bass = F-Clef in music
-Treble = G-Clef in music
-Forte's first letter is "F"
-Gospel's first letter is "G"

See the pattern???
