I think that face-shooting attack is called Anger Impact. It's one of those attacks that goes straight through a row like the shockwaves. Not sure if it can also break panels; it's been a while since I've fought him. The attack starts as 100 the first time you fight him, and the damage increases by 100 more when you fight him again after your 1st playthrough, then your 2nd playthrough. I think Duo SP's Anger Impact deals 400 or 500.

ForteAnother or Forte? Because Forte will leave you sorely disappointed, as it did with me >_<

On the other hand, ForteAnother was a lifesaver for me. Sweet, sweet 640 damage. The last time I tried, Duo had more health than me (can't exactly remember figures...) by quite a bit, but ForteAnother put him down. :puku:

at least some 480 random damage which i could easily do anyway would be done automatically with no setups... with navi+, colorpts and atk30 how much would the 480 stand to?

Don't get confused. The RS Bass chip is better than BassAnother for damage, it's just that Bass's Shooting Buster inexplicably only targets panels, and since Duo is in a big hole, it can't touch him.

^ As Raijin mentioned above, Forte is useless on Duo. ForteAnother, on the other hand can take care of it.

Despite that, I still find Forte better. A single hole/obstacle can impede the path of a Hell's Rolling.

No obstacle has ever stopped Hells Rolling for me. Only broken/missing panels.

stupid bassX... it didnt hit duo. but i still defeated duo this time in Super Hard Mode... BUT WTF IS THE GAME 4? mega hard mode?

one more thing... the lotto number thing that the weird guy tells in u inside vampire manor after u defeat duo in each mode....

1- How many petals does Master Otenko have?
2- How many snakes on Carmilla's head?
3,4- How many dungeons in Istorkan?
5,6- How many silver coins are there in total?
7,8- How many floors in Azure Sky Tower?

this one has all the answers in exe5.... which i didnt play so does someone know the answers?

I honestly don't know these answers, but all the codes exist on GFaqs, so just keep plugging all of them in.

I never really bothered with that code. Too much thought and stuff I had never heard of at the time.

And Game 4 is Redux. Just allows you to collect what you missed (HP Memories, RegUP). As will Game 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. And on to 99.

Hm, let me guess.

Your Friend: I totally played through EXE4 9 times!

You: Oh yeah? Prove it. Let me see.

Your Friend: Oh, you can't. My data got lost for some reason.

You: Oh, that's a legitimate excuse.

Did the conversation go something like that? :P

would the games up to 99 be just as hard as game 4? I mean, who would play up to 99 anyway? (hit me if you are) I'm just wondering, (I'm on game 3, and yea.)

Game 4, and every subsequent game up to 99, is at the same difficulty as Game 3. The reason that someone actually made it that far is that someone on the GFaqs boards decided to see if there actually was infinite continues. Made it to Game 99, finished it, only to find that the title screen only said "New Game."

Well that really blows. After the 99th time, everything you worked so hard to own the chips and Soul Unisons gone. I wonder if there is any way to change this whole game from numerous playthroughs to one single playthrough? I think the numerous playthroughs were created because of the 3 tournaments, the type of navi you will face in there and when you can acquire a Soul Unison.

I know EXE 2 had a harder version of the same playthrough, but the only reason of completing that was to grab the Sanctuary chip.

Even though, Rajinn has already posted the lotto number, the hints are relating to Botaki: The Sun Is In Your Hand just in case you want to go hint hunting...
