This is a original series of mine. I have been writing these since 4 years ago, now I'm rewriting/typing them for the Net.
You can find them here: http://www.freewebs.com/keitaro-shoryuken/shogotgwstories.htm
I will be updating them weekly. Tell me what you think. |

Well, I put the Second Chapter on the site now. Tell me what you think, for once. I am always shunned and ignored while other fanfics that SOMETIMES are not good get seen and then locked while the stuff I do just goes to the bottom of the pages and disappears... |

Always? :p
First off, this is not a site for Shogo, whatever, stuff. It's called Rockman.EXE Online Forums for a reason, and for that reason alone stuff outside of the Rockman universe is usually not as accepted as stuff within, as not so many people know of such items. Second, I don't believe any of us have a right to criticise "bad" fanfics for getting more attention. Their writers ask for help and opinions, and we gladly give them so as to help them improve. Most of us don't have a clue what Shogo is, thus we have no interest in it, so we can't tell you to improve or criticize you. We can only ignore you and hope you go away, which is the cruel but true...truth. :P

Did you ever notice the OT on the beginning of the topic name?
It means it's a ORIGINAL series. I know this is for Rockman fanfics, but I've seen fanfics that were about freaking Hello Kitty in the Old Forum.
Which they were locked and the user was banned for it being in 1337...
What I'm trying to say is, why is it that this one is ignored? Even when I post some of my sprites in the Spriter's Lab and some Fanart in the Fanart Gallery, it's still not even given a glimpse.
It's just confusion, and if you wanted me to leave, that would mean in other words, "Hey, we don't want you to be here because we don't want to see original stuff. We only want to see things anyone would think of after a few minutes of thought."
Catch my drift?
All I really wanted was people to ACTUALLY read or look at the stuff I post WITHOUT going to a TOTALLY differenet topic on the same thread. {cough} Street Fighter Online thread {cough}
Now I bid you farewell, until this is actually read and commented for what it is, a story/fanfic series.
And another thing, this is NOT a series spin-off of Monolith's SHOGO: Mobile Armor Division!! Bare that in mind so you won't be saying, "Where's Sajiro, Kira, and Baku?!?!?"
There you have it. {turns around and "Heaven Kanji" appears on back} |

Ah, I catch your drift all right. I would also like to point out that the kanji you now have simply means "sky". It isn't a magical spell diagram for casting heavenly bolts, nor a symbol of a character, nor something to paste around one's home when one is a rabid fanboy of someone who happens to have it on their back. Now, let's get into the basics.
While your reasoning behind an OT is sound, the fact remains not many people like them. The fact also remains that most OTs I've read in my life are so badly-done and idiotic that no one in their right mind would even want to click on a link and be bombarded by crap. Can you prove that yours is better or even worth reading to edit and/or criticize? And don't go into the "they all want simplistic things that don't take thinking" crap. Hikari Enzan is one of the best-loved fics of this board, and it spanned a full 25 or 26 chapters, none of which let off on a reader's brain, forcing them to actually THINK about how it would end and actually entertaining them at the same time.
Now, Hikari Enzan is obviously an EXE fic. But it is still an EXE board. I repeat, people are obviously going to have more interest in things they know about and would want to read. Shogo, I've never heard of before-and I will be blunt about this. Your fanfiction's title sounds like something a rabid fanboy would slap on a mad run-and-bash fic which destroys all of the characters' personalities and readers' views of them. It's about packaging as well as content.
I do not apologize for my words. I don't believe an author has a right to complain openly about how their masterly fiction is being ignored because other "worse" fics are taking all the credit. It's like J.K.Rowling going to Oklahoma and bitching that they don't like her books. Everything's in the eye of the beholder. Others see fics they like, they go to them. Fine. Yours hasn't found the right audience, so search elsewhere.

Sorry to say, that is the "you" kanji that means "early death."
I wouldn't put that picture in my sig if it wasn't! The one on my avatar'd Ryu is showing the "ten" sign which means "heaven" or "beyond human."
Now if you would want to complain about one's sig, should I change it to the "metsu" sign? The one that means, "Destruction" and "Murder?"
Now about this "rabid fanboy" stuff, I am not one. Maybe I like the series, so what. Should I be yelling at the certain amount of people here masturbating infront of "certain people's" fanart? Didn't think so.
So, it shouldn't be a bad thing to put the "early death" kanji on my signature. But, if it is making you angry, I'll gladly put the "metsu" sign. And if I was a fanboy, that means a lot of the people here are also fanboy to certain games and shows. Unless it's a BAD thing to be a fan of the most LEGENDARY fighting game series that spawned the new world of them. One thing about them, in other fighting games before it, there was no combo system. Heck, Capcom themselves didn't even know they made one when they made SFII. And nobody can forget the old, "Sheng Long" trick of the past that made people go nuts for.
Maybe Capcom is getting lazy for them now, but since the creator is on his own company, they'll be good again.
And I know that the Hikari/something fanfics are amazing. I, like I said before, wanted to show something ORIGINAL. And just to let you know, it's not like some stories that most 14 year olds make. It's not rushed and stuff, maybe the Chapters are short, but I am planning to make the series OVER 80 chapters. So it's a good thing.
Now I bid you farewell... |

Ni shuo she me? Ni wei she me zai yong zhong wen zi lai shuo mei guo hua?
:P
Now, let's not get into our choice of favorite Chinese characters to wave around randomly, and making it appear as if you actually know the language. The Chinese are not amused in most cases when their language is misused by other countries-somewhat akin to having the American words "f***" and "shit" printed all over Chinese t-shirts.
And what has the fighting style of bash-and-run games got to do with this?
The attention span of people reading stuff on-line lasts about seven seconds, insofar as I've noticed. If the first line doesn't attract them, they aren't going to bother to read the other 79 chapters. Now, I repeat, if you've found an audience which actually likes and criticizes your work, they'll be perfect for the story. We are already completely ignoring you-we aren't going to stick around to see whether you turn out something good later. AMZ got attention because his was from a series everyone here knows-or they wouldn't be here-and innovative, and as much as I hate to say it, original. Yours may be all those, in your opinion, but the fact still is that readers aren't going to flock to something they don't know a thing about and have no inclination to find out.
