I am just asking which character from ANY fighting game is your fave.

My faves are:

Gouki from Street Fighter
Any type of Ryu from Street Fighter
Strider Hiryu from Marvel VS Capcom 1 and 2
Hayato from Star Gladiator
Kaede from Last Blade
Ryo from Art of Fighting
Robert from Art of Fighting
Haomaru from Samurai Spirits/Showdown

My favorite ever is Shizumaru from Samurai Showdown 4.
Even though it's leaning a bit towards a basic samurai type design, I really liked his character design.
Plus, he gets a lot more unique than other characters of similar designs with his choice of weapon and personality.

Ryu - Street Fighter series (Flaming Hadouken in SSF2 was the greatest thing ever)
Rolento - Street Fighter Alpha 2 (He was cool in Final Fight, he's cool here. 11-hit Patriot Circle, anyone?)
Sektor - (Ultimate) Mortal Kombat 3 (For being the only character that I've somewhat figured out)
Stryker - (Ultimate) Mortal Kombat 3 (The mix of short and long-range attacks are useful. But what idiot allows the use of guns and grenades in a martial arts tournament?)

Kilik of Soul Calibur, love using his (staff, bow, quarter staff, whatever the proper name is)
Baek Doo San of Tekken (2/Tag/5) Moves are simple to get use to, quick, and effective.
Raven of Tekken 5, wicked fighting style and he's a ninja.. of sorts.
