Can navis get..married??

Well, I think navis can stay togheter but I dont think they can married. If Meiru married with Netto, Rock and Roll cant ( This is my opinion). They are programs so they cant be like humans. And like what Blazequest said, if Charlie and Tesla falls in love, Magnetman and Gyroman cant... Its kinda weird.

As for the topic, why shouldn't navi's get married? And if a navi says she has a husband then that means that they can get married.

Well, let me throw another wrinkle into the works here.

Suppose (this is entirely hypothetical) that Lan's denseness drives Maylu away, and she marries Tory (my ultimate pairing Evil or Very Mad

). Roll, however, doesn't like this because she's still attached to MegaMan. Now, if Roll runs away and marries MegaMan while Maylu's married to Tory, we have a predicament, don't we?

Personally, I think that 'husband/wife' when used between Net Navi is just a term of high endearment. I really doubt that Navis would want to get married (but since Net Navi are becoming more human all the time, who knows what'll happen in the future?).

Then again, the soul unison does seem a little like marriage... But Roll and medi are the only current "compatable feminines" so...they'd be a bit crowded *is hurled forcefully off a bridge*

Navis have proven to like and have attachments and affection towards each other. Allow me to re-estress out the fact Roll has a 'crush' with Rockman. She's jealous of Aki-chan for example and is clingy to him, she seems to spend most of her 'free time' with Rockman.

Marriage is more then signing a paper that says you're legaly 'tied' to another person by the bounds of law or that your belongings are now split on two. For some people marriage is simply the act of promising and compromising to each other as the only loved one. So if Navis wanted to get married they could simply perform a ceremony that would have the significance of one swearing to love the other. The legality is merely a formallity of these days to sue your partner if they cheat on you XP *ducks bricks*

Marriage for a navi can sound unpractical. But how practic is the world these days anyways? To some people -or perhaps in this case to some Navis- marrying is just a way to say "I love you and this is my compromise towards you" I don't see why there's a need of logic, legality or even a practical reason behind navis marrying. As long as they like each other -and the anime/game have stressed out the existance of this 'feeling' already- marrying seems something pretty 'normal'.
