I heard a cheat for mmbn3, when you begin a game (practicing) you will have to die 10 times and on the 11th beat all 3 of the practices then you'll end upin the class room, DO NOT SAVE instead just quit the game and turn it back on, then you get all & stars, and it works,a friend showed me.
cool thing is is that you start a new game with everything!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm....as my name implies, I am a bit skeptical. I'd think that since this game has been out for nearly three years now, that such a cheat would be found on GameFaqs, but said code doesn't exist there.

I think some more experimentation is in order.

I just tried it. I don't think it works. I just tried it 30 seconds ago. >.< I lost 10 times and beat it all the 11th. I turned it off once I was in teh class room and I turned it on. Nothing has changed.. I don't have all the stars. Did I do something wrong or does it not work?

The only reason this "cheat" seems plausible is because most people fail to realize that the game doesn't save anything that you didn't instruct it to, and that it takes a second or two for a save to actually be made. Just going into the classroom and not saving wouldn't do crap for you.

Don't bother with it, people. It's nothing but a waste of time. The person that posted it is either very gullible or a rather stupid jerk.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot fake cheats. If turning off the power without saving is involved, in a game that does not automaticaly save data, it's obviously fake. Why waste time when you know something won't work? Work smarter, not harder.

Now, if he'd have said something along the lines of, "Save a few times to get a feel for the amount of time it takes to make a save, then make a new game, and follow these steps:" and replaced "don't save" with "turn off the power about half-way through the save", it would seem much more legitimate, as it would be exploiting a save glitch.

In fact, there have been several glitch-cheats of that sort out there. Like in Pokémon Gold and Silver on the GBC, save before doing anything, then transfer a Pokémon between two different slots on the PC, then turn off the power when it's about 1/2 - 2/3 saved. When you turn the power back on, nothing will have changed, except that the Pokémon you transfered and any item it may have been carrying will be both on the old slot and the new slot, effectively copying it.
