Oh, Come on Rain! I remember hearing about that! I think that is auto hits, does 40 damage per ocean panel, plus 20 more per panel if you're standing on an Ocean Panel. In a Toadsoul folder that's pretty sick.
I wouldn't call Team 1 and 2 useless since they're needed for the GrandPrixPower P.A.
I think Metalstage is the least useful chip. All it does is change all panels to MetalPanels, which can't be broken, neither yours or your opponents. And since humans probably use Geddon anyway, it doesn't have a long shelf life.
Metal Panels don't even power up any other type of chips! _________________

You have a point. Not only does it restore panels, it ensures that no other holes can be created as well. A complete hoser for Snake folders, where it will remain mainboard. Otherwise, it's pretty useless.
It is still something to consider if facing an opponent that utilizes missing panels for area-lock, but an Airshoes would easily counter the problem. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! It'll help to save your bacon when you're fighting GutsMan SP, DrillMan Sp, Proto, etc. Your opponent locking you in on a panel is bad mojo. |

Another Mind is Mind Bender, which I believe was only in BN2 and BCC. I can't remember how it works in BN2, but in BCC I would have to agree on its uselessness. I can't figure out what it's supposed to do other than possibly decrease your chances at a successful Slot-In, or maybe it just reduces your target's accuracy. |
In BCC, it's used to lock your opponent's strategy.
Example
Player 1 has Met Guard, Shot Gun and Mini Bomb set for the round.
Player 2 has Mini Bomb, Fire Sword, and Another Mind.
Player 1's navi sets Met Guard, blocking the first Mini Bomb attack. Player 2 is damaged by Met Guard's Shockwave. Player 1 uses Shot Gun to damage his opponent, however, his Met Guard gets deleted by Fire Sword because it can't block Elemental attacks. Player 1's Mini Bomb does it's damage, and Player 2 blasts Player 1 with Another Mind. The navis use their special attacks and the round ends.
On the next round, because of Another Mind, Player 1 is now stuck with an empty slot and two already damaged chips, because Another Mind locked the strategy.
Result: Player 1 got owned because he couldn't switch chips.
Player 2 has himself a brand new navichip and taunts player 1. _________________

Team 1 uses those ameobs, the ones you see it use when you fight it. I haven't found a use for team 2 yet. _________________ I still need a picture |

Life Synchro is actually quite useful. If you happen to have more than one enemy, chip at one enemy's HP first. Then use Life Synchro.

Team2 heals you a bit when your health is in the red zone. It's basically an elaborate Recov chip.
Team1 fires little 10 dmg bullets down each row for a couple seconds and then disappears. It's SUPPOSED to be powered up if you take hits, but after a lot of experimenting, all the damage done to me only made the frickin' Twinner shoot faster. The bullets still did a measly 10 points of damage and the virus still disappeared before it could even make a difference. |

OK, it's not so off-topic.
LifeSynchro is a rather useless chip. If there are multiple viruses in play, you can use this. It fires like a CopyDamage, and whatever target it hits first is the base. All other virii in play will have their current life total set to the current life total of the targeted virus.
For instance, if there is an ArachyEX at 5HP and two other KillyEX at 250HP, and I target the Arachy with the LifeSync, then the KillyEX virii' life total becomes 5. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Life Synchro takes the HP of one virus and makes that the HP of every virus on the field. Lets say it targets a Mettool, it makes every virus have 40 HP.
It can work in reverse though, if it targets..lets say...a Garru (Spikey) virus with 100 HP, every virus gets 100 HP. It doesn't work on navis. _________________

Really.. Not enough. Recov chips themselves are quite useless if you are playing MMBN3 against a worthy opponent.
I really just find the Team 1+2 to be useful for the Program Advance they allow you to do. _________________ I suck! |
