I personally have a love-hate relationship with the English dubbing in Dynasty Warriors 3. It's HORRIBLE, but all my friends and I LOVE making fun of it Laughing

Megaman network transmission: I really like this game but theres something that bothers me...Megamans voice >_< -_-; :puku:. Its so high pitched! And he's speaking japanese when its the english version.

Meh it wasn't that bad. I beat it pretty easily after I got all the power ups. (I never did get that stupid pop-up chip)

You want a Flaw?

How about EVERY SINGLE DYNASTY WARRIORS (besides the First Original one ofcourse...) IS BASICALLY A RETREAD OF THE PREVIOUS GAMES WITH MORE OF TEH SHINEY.

How about the Samurai Warriors game which is basically a Dynasty Warriors Retread with Japanese historical battles instead of Chinese historical battles?

how about SVC-Chaos Which was basically a Rip-off of the Capcom "Vs." Series that was done by someone that had absolutely No idea of anything about Street Fighter or King of Fighters? I mean Seriously, they couldn't even take the time to get the attack names right. they had orochi Iori clones out the Yin-yang, and their "STORY" if you can call it that, Was probably the Worst Piece of Crap I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through.

Sorcerer's Kingdom

A lesser known RPG for the Genisis.

This game had one innovative concept that could have made it one of the greatest RPGs of all time. You were incharge of the encounter rate, you could choose when and where you got in a battle.


But, then came the flaws

The storyline = Cut and paste from any RPG of the time, evil is begining to re-surface after a time of peace, and it's up to the nameless and silent hero (Who is son of a previous hero.) to round up a group of oddballs to save the world from a dragon/monster/whatever. They managed to even screw this up, by making the plot very cryptic and difficult to follow(since there's nary a clue as to what to do next) The quest are simplistic, rescue jobs, monster exterminations, and going into caves literally for no reason to advance the plot. Oh yeah, there's a hang glider scene(that sucks)

The Graphics = This is the same consol that housed Sonic the Hedgehog and Ristar, so it should have great graphics, right? Hell no! Their ideal of a walking sprite is horrizontally scewing a picture and then flipping it back and forth. 2 frames. About.. 5 colors per sprite, but they're not small enough to pull that off effectively, they're about 64 pixels tall, so they look like splotches. The first area in the game is a "hill" but is actually a barren field of nothing, an occasional tree or bush, this discribes most of the areas in the game(replace bush with other obstacles like rocks or blocks of ice.)

Battle Syste = Like I said, it was innovative to have it so you can choose when and where to fight, but even this has it's problems. YOu start the game with a whopping 100 HP! but, the monsters are so terribly buff that it doesn't matter, oh wait, that was just their crazy ass damage algorithm! First, you can attack a monster for 0 damage, he counterattacks for 32, then attacks again for 109, killing you, game over. The battles resemble Chrono Trigger, in that you don't warp to a battle screen, instead, a flashing sign "BATTLE!" is displayed when you touch a monster or select on the menu, it then turns into a tactical style battle, move attack, magic, ect. The turn system is totally fucked up also. ONE person on your team of 4 can act once per turn, then it's all (up to like 15) monster's turn to attack. And if a person doesn't act in battle they get on EXP, so you're basically babysitting a bunch of dummies. You're left with a choice, raise one super babysitter, or have 4 weaklings.

Agreed. I think it ruined Zelda, Castlevania, and Final Fantasy, with the exception of FF9. However, not all 3D games are bad. First person shooter (FPS) games like Unreal Tournament, I like those.

Yes. Unlike most other people, I actually hated those games. In fact, it made me lose my interest in the Zelda series.

I think the new zelda isn't that good. It got to...... real for me at that game. I mean it's against Zeldas imange in my mind.

Really I liked Majora's Mask.I thought that it was a challenge.I didn't like Wind Waker that much though.But the new one looks way cool.

First I will say that I think the draw system was a horrible Idea, with the Exception of how it allowed you to gain new GFs from certain Bosses.

The Junction System itself though was not a completely Bad Idea.Being able to Tweak the Stats of your Characters is actually a Rather Ingenious way of doing it.

Having to Junction your Existing Stores of Magic to them however was not. Usually the Most Effective Spells to Junction were the Spells you would need the Most. Like Cure Spells, Life Spells, Esuna, etc etc etc. It was not a Smart system. It was annoying that your Stats would have to go down if you Used a Junctioned Magic.

Haven't played MM, but OoT and WW, in my opinion, are wonderful games. Although I wouldn't mind another game like The Minish Cap.

To me, a RPG has to have a reasonable amount of random battles. I was playing FF1 on my GBA, and I got in a random battle, took one step, then got in ANOTHER battle.

Either that, glitches, too easy, or too clunky.
