Has anyone bothered to calculate the technicalities of getting a certain soul on the second playthrough? On the 2nd play, do you usually miss the Eagle tournament soul, the Den Tournament soul, or the Red Moon tournament soul?

Somehow I doubt there's a difference there. You most likely have a 1/3 chance of either of those becoming your last soul. |

Hmmm...that's certainly something to think about. The only thing that is guaranteed is that you will get GutsSoul or AquaSoul first, for each of the respective games, and that you will get three souls on first play, two on second, and one on the third.
Theoretically the chances should be equal, as the tournament pairings are randomly generated, but I am tempted to think the answer is not so simple... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Er... I have a chip concerned question...
Eh... How do I get Woody Powder?! I'm trying to build a good Wood Soul folder, but all I get when I fight Withers, Whompers, etc. is "Elec Shok", "HeatBrth", and "Blizzard". I'm always using collect, to make sure... Eh... I know it can me found on Wonders, but the virus guide on GameFAQs pointed me to the Buddha Statues, and all I find there are Spikys and those Bamboo virii.

Hmmm...WoodyPowder....might I suggest ParkArea1? The virii that drop the elemental breaths live around there. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Tried... I get Elecshoks, HeatBreaths, Blizzards. (Trust me, I've 10 and S-ranked a bunch of those with a few good starting chip-selections...-Steal, then Dream Sword... Mmm...)
But I commmed you, MC, for your astounding speed to answer... Anyone else, unless you have another idea, Midnight, know where I can find the Wonder virus? _________________ I have returned! Also known as Dyne Kiline, DyneX14, etc.

Since my folder is about wiping out panels, and since my Rockman has OmniShoes, the three squares ahead thing isn't usually much of a problem.
And my versus record is pretty danged good. _________________

How about the Undernet? I don't recall which part of the Undernet exactly, but I do find Wonders around there. |

My research claims that the Wonder viruses are quite rare, but they are in the BuddhaComp. I suggest using SneakRun and LocEnemy when you get them finally. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Ah. Go to Uranet4. The GMDs there can offer one of the elemental breaths in *-code. I have like three WoodyPowder * because of that. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

The GMDs in Uranet 4 refused to give me Woody Powder * chips. Ever. I had to get mine the hard way.
Go to Uranet 6, on of the sets of viruses is two of the viruses that use Woody Powder and one of the walrus. S Rank them and you should get Woody Powder * _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Yeah, some of the navis getting beat don't make sense.
I could understand if Searchman lost to Thunderman, or Thunderman to Kendoman, but losing to a normalnavi?! That's just rediculous.
Crazy randomizer. :puku: _________________

Yep. They could at least have arranged it so that the soul Navis always fight each other in the round before you face one of them. X_x Blues losing to a Heel Navi just doesn't make freaking sense...

well, seeing as how Enzan and Blues were going through that whole darkchip thing at the time, maybe he just forfeited.
X_x;
Hmmm... I've almost got Red Sun finished as much as Blue Moon, but I have a program on BM that I don't on RS and I forgot where the heck I got it...

If I recall correctly, it is in ACDC1 behind the Nebula Gate on one of the runs.
And yes, the tournaments are chosen at random. Probably done so at the start of your game, so soft-resetting will not change the pairings. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! They are. I tried resetting loads of times after Blues got knocked out by aforementioned Heel Navi, and it never worked. >_>

Resetting won't do it. The moment a tournament's pairing is set up, the game has already predetermined your three opponents. There's nothing you can do... _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.
