The battles were very well described, and interesting. I enjoyed the fact that you had all of Megaman's friends join together. Though is there any real reason to not have Thunderman and Knightman help, surely their Operators would have contacted Lan to offer to help out. While it was humorus, what was the cause of the Democrat joke, was it show pride of your Political Party or something like that? The whole Misaki/Yutaka realtion was really good idea, just shows you learn something new everyday. Though I would have included the entrance of Colonel, like how he came to SciLabs. It seems like Noah is just going all over the place, with no clear cut pattern, unless you have something up your sleeve, I haven't seen Noah strike out at those people on that file of tormentors, unless the Netopian President was one of them. What if Bubbleman is deleted in Stream, or escapes deletion and is still evil, how will you explain that? Overall, it was a good chapter.

CHAPTER 2-50
Countdown to Armageddon!

“We’ve detected Lan’s signal a few meters away from that of the Omega Virus X!” All heads turned at the scientist’s announcement as Dr. Hikari pushed his way over to the terminal.

“Did you just say that Lan’s near that thing?” he demanded.

“I’m afraid so, sir.”

Lan… Yuuichiro looked up at the main screen, Please be okay.

* * *

“Well, this is unfortunate.” R MegaMan slowly backed away as the Omega Virus X advanced. The black behemoth let out an earthshaking roar as he tried to look for a way to escape. Spotting a manhole not far away, R MegaMan quickly pulled off the lid and jumped inside the sewers.

“Man, I never thought I’d have to come down here again.”

“So what’s our next plan of action?” asked MegaMan.

“We’re going to try to regroup with the others and come up with a new plan.” R MegaMan quickly donned his mouthguard and started to run down the tunnel, “I just hope the online team is having better luck than we are.”

* * *

“Attack!” On Noah’s command, the viruses threw themselves at the Navis. While Axle the Red was launching Spike Balls, Slash Beast pounced in and swung out with his arms. TankMan moved quickly to roll in on the lion-based virus and blocked his claws with his armor.

“Try to get past me!” Grizzly Slash roared as he and MachineMan stood across from one another.

“CyberSword Battlechip in, download! Bladerang Battlechip in, download!” A back-mounted battery pack with a blue sword and a piece of blue shoulder armor with a large spike appeared before the mechanical Navi. The battery pack clamped onto his back while the armor locked into place on his left shoulder. Now equipped with his new weapons, MachineMan drew the sword from his back and an energy beam formed the cutting edge of the weapon.

“Crescent Shot!” Grizzly Slash swung his claw and sent out an energy wave. MachineMan quickly jumped over it and grabbed the spike from his armor. He pulled it off and an energy blade shot out from the end, creating a sort of boomerang. He flung the weapon forward and it arced through the air and passed Grizzly Slash.

“You missed!”

“Did I now?” The Bladerang suddenly came back around and cut off the bear virus’ claw. MachineMan then rushed in and brought his sword down, cutting Grizzly Slash in half.

“Sunburst!” Rafflesian laughed as she raised her staff and countless beams of light shot out of her dress and rained down on the Navis.

“Hey, you!” Roll flew in towards the dancing virus and whipped her several times with her antennae.

“Why you!” Rafflesian swung her staff at the pink Navi, but Roll jumped away and Minuet leapt right in.

“Hiraikotsu!” The pink and green Navi threw her boomerang forward and it destroyed the sun on Rafflesian’s staff as it flew past and hit the back of her head on its return. With the virus unarmed and stunned, Roll immediately fired a Roll Arrow and pierced her heart, deleting her instantly.

“Good work, Minuet!”

“Not so bad yourself, Roll.”

The girls high-fived each other and jumped away just as Mattrex slammed his foot down on where they once stood.

Meanwhile, in another part of the battlefield, SamuraiMan was locked in a duel with Swordmaster Samuram.

“Thousand Knives!” The resurrected Sheep Zodiac Knight swung his sheepskin and launched a fury of knives at his opponent. SamuraiMan did his best to block them with his katana, but their speed was incredible and he was starting to lose sight of their oncoming locations.

“Blade of Honor Battlechip in, download!” Hiro’s chip fed power into his Navi’s sword and he raised the glowing blade over his head.

“Blade of Honor!” SamuraiMan took a leap upward and he came down on Swordmaster Samuram with his katana. It cut through him with ease and he moved onto the next virus. Across the way, DragonMan and Magma Dragoon had locked their hands together in a struggle to overpower one another while NovaMan and Spider fought against Mad Nautilus.

“Annihilator Hadoken!” Serenade took a mighty leap into the air and flipped forward as the beam shot past under him and he landed safely back on the floor.

“You’ll have to do much better than last time, Ninetails,” he said as he faced the revived leader of the Tails Clan.

Meanwhile, Noah stood by the crystal stairs watching the entire battle and chuckling to himself mentally.

“Don’t they realize that they have no hope of winning?” he asked no one in particular, “Creating viruses is cheap, so there are no losses on my side. My reinforcements are limitless!” He grinned as more copies of deleted viruses appeared to replace the ones that had just been destroyed.

Lan, Chaud, Sean, and Laika had finished with the last of the Ultima Viruses and had regrouped back at SciLab.

“How are things going on the net?” Lan asked as the four Net Saviors re-entered the building.

“Not good!” Yuuichiro called back, “The Navis have been swarmed with an army of viruses.”

“And no matter how many we destroy, that exact number just keeps getting replaced,” Mr. Famous added. Lan took a look at the screen and saw that the situation was quite grim indeed.

“How are things outside?” Dr. Hikari asked. Lan opened his mouth to speak, but it was Chaud who answered for him.

“We’ve finished off all the Ultima Viruses in and around DenTech City.”

“I’m afraid things are worse now than before.” Everyone turned to Lan wondering just what in the world he was talking about. The headband-wearing Net Savior looked around at everybody and made his grim announcement.

“The Omega Virus X is in the city.”

Silence filled the room as the news was slowly absorbed into everyone’s minds. It was broken only moments later when one of the scientists called out to Dr. Hikari with an urgent report.

“Sir, take a look at this. You’re not going to believe it.” He pressed a button and the image on the main screen changed. Displayed was an aerial view of the eastern side of DenTech City. Everybody turned to the screen and their jaws dropped in horror. Walking in through the city was Lord Viron. Right behind him was the Omega Virus X leading an entire army of Ultima Viruses that marched in perfect formation with one another.

“I thought we took care of that Viron robot!” Dex’s voice rang out.

“And the old VILE headquarters was destroyed,” Laika noted as he remembered a report that a reckon team had sent them earlier.

“That Lord Viron has to be a projection,” Sean thought aloud, “The real Noah must be inside the Omega Virus X controlling its movements.”

“It’s too risky to fight them now,” Mr. Famous announced, “Aside from the army of Ultima Viruses, we still have yet to determine all the abilities of the Omega Virus X. So far, all we know is that it has an array of lasers and an acid attack at its disposal. Not only that, but its most devastating attack we’ve seen has been its Data Drain.”

“Out of curiosity,” Yutaka piped up, “What does Data Drain exactly do for it in the real world?”

“Personally, I’d rather not know,” Zekk interjected.

“Nor would I,” Mitani concurred.

Lan sighed and looked at another screen that displayed the online battle. Something he saw on it suddenly intrigued him.

“Hey, why is Noah in the system, as well?”

“He’s apparently projecting himself via a partial Pulse in,” Stella quickly informed him, “At least that’s what he claimed.”

“He has to be guarding something to have an army of viruses attack our Navis,” Commander Beef observed.

“How do you know that?” questioned BlackRose.

“Why else is he trying to keep us from those stairs?”

“I’m getting a lock on what he’s trying to protect,” Stella called out, “It appears to be some kind of generator or central core for all the Ultima Viruses.”

“So if we take it out, the Ultima Viruses all over the world will disappear!” Tory exclaimed, “That’s just given us more of a reason to press on harder than before! IceMan, get to those stairs quickly!”

* * *

“IceCubes!” IceMan continued to summon IceCube after IceCube and constantly kicked them forward, “That would be easier, Tory, if we could get to it!”

“If you can’t go through them,” DragonMan lashed out with a punch and sent another Metal Shark Player crashing into a Sting Chameleon, “go over them!” He spread out his wings and flew into the air. Storm Eagle, Dark Dizzy, and Blast Hornet tried to stop him, but they were quickly stopped when Red engulfed them in a Crimson Vortex. The dragon-themed Navi flew over the battle towards the stairs at full.

“I don’t think so!” Noah held up his Sabata plushie over his head and released it, suspending it in the air. He then raised his hand up and yelled.

“ANKOKU!”

The plushie came back down and in flash of black Noah was dressed just like Sabata. He grinned evilly as he drew the Gun Del Hell and fired at DragonMan. His shot struck his left wing and he crashed to the ground.

“Did he just merge with his doll?” SkullMan gaped.

“You forget that this Noah is just a projection,” Red reminded him.

“But if he’s just a projection, then how is it that he can hurt us and we still can’t hurt him?” demanded CrashMan.

“When you’ve got a mind like mine, you can do anything!” Noah’s voice rang out.

“We have to end this now!” declared Manabe, “BlackHole Battlechip in, download!” She inserted the chip into her Battlechip Gate and a black hole appeared inside the system. All the Navis quickly gathered behind it as it sucked in all the viruses into its void.

“You’ll never be able to destroy all my viruses!” Noah laughed as his (or rather Sabata’s) scarf whipped around him violently in the wind. He snapped his fingers and more windows appeared and shattered releasing hordes and hordes of replacements.

“The BlackHole won’t last forever!” Manabe indicated. True to her words, the black hole was beginning to fade.

“We just have to get past those viruses and reach that staircase!” As soon as the BlackHole was gone, Colonel ran in and started slashing away with his sword.

“Junk Press!” JunkMan’s hands merged into a garbage compressor and he thrust his arms forward. Several viruses got caught in his attack and were compacted tightly into a small cube before being deleted.

“Blizzard!”

“Water Spout!”

“Bubble Parade!”

Together, IceMan, AquaMan, and BubbleMan launched their attacks and deleted several fire viruses. The three friends cheered happily, but their celebration was cut short when Wild Jango burst up from behind them. They all hugged one another and screamed until the jaguar virus was knocked aside by NovaMan’s Comet Impact.

“Army Ants!” Snipe Anteater shuddered as he deployed countless ant-shaped mines across the field, however CrashMan wasn’t worried.

“Mines and bombs are one of my specialties,” he said grinning.

“Ratton1 Battlechip in, triple download!” Yutaka dragged three Ratton1 chips over to CrashMan and the orange-armored Navi’s arm changed into a mouse-shaped launcher.

“Zeta Ratton1!” Instantly, he fired off countless rats that scurried across the field, homed in on the mines, and exploded them. The rest of them scampered towards Snipe Anteater and pummelled him to deletion. There was an echoing roar as Neon Tiger leapt forward with his claws, but Cid sent MachineMan a Beam Saber Battlechip and the mechanical NetNavi blocked his attack.

“And here’s something else for you, too!” He quickly transmuted the grill on his right arm into a blade and plunged it deep into Neon Tiger’s chest, erasing him instantly.

Back in the real world, the Net Savior team was gathered together as they worked on a battle plan for their fight against the Omega Virus X. They were all sitting around a small table in the corner huddled over a map of DenTech City.

“If the others can destroy that Ultima Virus core, then all we need to worry about is the Omega Virus X,” Lan explained, “Unfortunately, they won’t be likely to get there before our target gets to the zero barrier. Once it passes that point, there’s no hope of victory.”

“The Omega Virus X started coming in here,” Chaud pointed to one side of the map with the pencil in his hand, “and judging from their path thus far, its target destination is here.” He drew a thin line from the spot over to the other side of the map. Sean took a look at the path that Chaud had sketched out.

“SciLab is in that path,” he noted.

“He’s coming here. Whatever his purpose is, it can’t be good.”

“Point zero will be the outer perimeter of SciLab,” Laika explained, “We cannot allow our target to go beyond it.”

“It’s currently approaching fifteenth street, so it’s still got a way to go before it gets here.” Chaud sat up and put his pencil away, “We should try to stop him at all costs before he gets to point zero…” He paused in his speech for a moment before continuing on.

“…even if it means getting Data Drained.”

“As Officials, we’ve taken similar risks before,” Lan announced, “We shouldn’t have to fear making this sacrifice, as well.” He held out his hand over the table and Chaud, Sean, and Laika placed theirs on top of his.

The Omega Virus X continued on its with the Lord Viron hologram in front of it and the army of Ultima Viruses behind it. They came to a stop upon reaching a roadblock. Lan, Chaud, Sean, and Laika stood in the middle of the street facing the massive viral army.

“So, all four of them decided to show up at once,” Noah smirked, “That’s fine with me.” He nudged a nerve and the hologram in front disappeared. The Omega Virus X lurched forward slightly and roared.

“Let’s do it.” Lan opened his PET chip slot and inserted all of his Soul Unison chips while Sean did the same with his DNA chips.

“Synchro Chip, in!” The four Net Saviors quickly inserted their Synchro Chips and held out their PETs.

“CROSS FUSION!”

Lan closed his eyes and relaxed his body as the Cross Fusion took place. First, blue boots formed over his feet, green crystals appearing near the tops. Blue gloves appeared and encased his hands, extending a small bit upward and green gems appearing near the tops, as well. Lan clenched his fists as he opened his eyes and leaned forward. His and MegaMan’s icon appeared on his chest and transformed his clothes into a skintight navy-blue bodysuit. Light blue lines extended up from his chest to his shoulders, forming yellow armor pads. His hair was pressed down against his head as his customized helmet appeared. The front extended down, covering the rest of his forehead as his mouthguard covered the lower half of his face. He turned around as the power pack finished forming on his back and he twisted his body back around forward and brought up his guard.

Black cloth covered Chaud’s hands while red armor surrounded his forearms. His feet were encased in red and white boots and a spike shot up from the tops up to his knees upon formation. He clenched his left fist and brought it up next to his face as his and ProtoMan’s icon formed on the backs of his hands. He thrust his arm out to the side as his vest zipped itself up and red extensions appeared over his shoulders. A larger version of the icon appeared in the center of his chest and the rest of his clothes, as well a the lower half of his vest, transformed into a black and purple bodysuit while the rest of his vest morphed into armor. Chaud’s face was like stone as his helmet formed over his head and his hair grew out down to his knees. He spun around once and took up his finishing pose.

Green armor formed over Laika’s torso. When it clamped into place, his uniform was changed into a dark grey bodysuit. Green gloves appeared over his arms with SearchMan’s icon in the back of each hand. Green armored boots clamped themselves over his legs and encased them up to his knees. His helmet then formed over his head and an orange visor came down over his eyes. He held out his right hand and a handheld version of SearchMan’s Scope Gun appeared before him. He grabbed it, brought it over his head, and then placed it in front of his chest, his other hand holding onto the barrel.

Sean’s clothes wrapped themselves around his body as they changed into a grey skintight bodysuit. Navy-blue armor with red around the neck, down the center of the chest, and along the sides formed over his torso and a pair of matching shoulder pads attached themselves to it. Meanwhile, red lines shot down the sides of his bodysuit until they reached his feet, where a pair of navy-blue boots with stripes lining the sides, ankles, and tops appeared and clamped into place. White cloth surrounded his hands as navy-blue armor striped red around the tops and wrists and along the sides appeared over his forearms, fusing with the white into gloves. A small white power pack appeared on his back and a pair of thin wings extended out from it. Sean crossed his arms in front of his chest, clenched his fists, and thrust them out to his sides as Axl’s icon appeared on his chest. Two more icons appeared on either side of his head like earmuffs before encasing all of it in his red and navy-blue helmet. A pair of white crests extended upward from the icons and slightly downward, as well. Two yellow extensions covered his cheeks as a yellow visor slid over his eyes and a mouthguard matching his armor’s main color scheme covered the rest of his face while his hair stuck out from the back in the same style as Axl’s. Two pistols appeared before him and he grabbed them from the air, twirling them both on his fingers before bringing his left arm back behind his head and his right arm down in front of him.

The light finally receded and the Cross Fused Net Saviors stepped forward, their weapons drawn and loaded. Noah grinned as he touched a nerve and a laser shot out from the Omega Virus X’s crotch eye. His four opponents jumped out of the way and the beam struck the ground, leaving a fair-sized crater in the pavement. They landed further down the street and fired their weapons before the smoke had even cleared away. When it finally did, they could see the Omega Virus X’s shoulders opening up, their teeth dripping with saliva.

“Move out of the way!” R MegaMan shouted. Everyone quickly made a mad dash to safety as two streams of acid poured from the mouths of the monster’s shoulders, dissolving everything it came in contact with.

“Hey!” Everyone turned around and looked at R Axl as he yelled, “Acid’s flammable! Set it on fire while that thing’s still pouring it out!”

“Good idea, Sean! Fire Arm!” R MegaMan transformed into Fire Soul and he unleashed a stream of flames from his arm at one of the acid streams.

“FireBlade Battlechip!” R ProtoMan’s right arm changed into a burning steel blade and he plunged it into the other acid stream. The flames travelled up through them and struck the Omega Virus X hard.

“YAHH!” Noah gripped onto the armrests of his chair tightly as his central nervous terminal was shaken violently. He was finally able to relax his hold and looked out at the Officials. All four of them were just coming out of their hiding spots and back onto the street, R MegaMan switching out of Fire Soul back into his normal mode in the process.

“They’re certainly resourceful, I’ll grant them that,” he muttered, “But let’s see how they handle a Geist Abend attack.”

Back outside, the Omega Virus X held out its arms and opened its hands. The eyes in all four palms opened up and zeroed in on the Cross Fused NetBattlers. At the same time, the eyes on its chest, crotch, and knees also targeted them. Without warning, they each released a solid red energy beam, all of which fanned out as they raced toward their targets. R MegaMan and R SearchMan were both struck twice by the blasts, while R ProtoMan and R Axl were not as fortunate and were each struck thrice with devastating force. The Omega Virus X quickly capitalized on its position and spread his wings, revealing myriad energy bombs that rained from the swirling chaos. The Net Saviors were hit with bomb after bomb as they were thrown about in the narrow street.

“We gotta lead him into an open area!” R ProtoMan called out.

“But where to?” asked R SearchMan. R MegaMan leapt back and fired a TwinFang3 as he thought about it. A solution finally popped into his head after he glanced at a street sign.

“Central Freeway’s not far from here!” he announced, “We can fight him there!”

“Great idea, Lan!” R Axl called back as he used WindDNA to send three birds at the Omega Virus X, “Let’s go!” And with that, the Net Saviors took off.

“Ultima Viruses, continue on,” Noah ordered, “I’ll be right back.” He placed his hands on several nerves and the Omega Virus X turned and followed the NetBattlers. It wasn’t long before they arrived onto an eight-lane freeway. R MegaMan and R Axl ran onto a pedway spanning over it and held their weapons out. As soon as the target appeared, they opened fire. R SearchMan summoned two satellites and they fired their lasers from above while R ProtoMan launched multiple Sonic Booms.

“Don’t Net Saviors ever get tired of being stupid?” Noah’s fingers came in contact with another nerve and the spines on the Omega Virus X’s back began to glow as it opened its mouth and unleashed an atomic blast of energy.

“Guardian Battlechip!” R Axl summoned a Guardian statue and pushed out it out in front of the blast. It took the brunt of the attack and retaliated with its devastating Punisher technique.

“Sean?” R MegaMan looked over at his grey-haired companion.

“What, Lan?”

“Did the Omega Virus X just use an Atomic Breath attack?”

“Yes.”

“Just checking. Royal Wrecking Ball!” R MegaMan transformed into Knight Soul and he fired his mace forward. It struck the Omega Virus X just above its crotch eye and he reeled his weapon back in.

“Scope Gun!” R MegaMan’s Knight Soul armor was quickly replaced with his Search Soul armor and he aimed carefully through the targeting scope before firing a shot that sailed through the air and struck the massive virus’ shoulder. Meanwhile, R Axl was shelling out his DNA chips in much the same way as his blue comrade was utilizing his Soul Unisons.

“VideoDNA! Wind Cutter!” The grey-haired Net Savior’s arms changed into two rolls of film with a strip in between them. An empty reel appeared in front of him and he wrapped his film around it before launching it forward. His attack struck the Omega Virus X in the front left knee eye.

“Lightning Blast!” R MegaMan changed into Elec Soul and rained down several bolts of lightning down onto the behemoth.

“BurnerDNA!” R Axl’s hands changed from VideoMan’s film rolls to BurnerMan’s jets. However, before he could unleash a fiery attack, R MegaMan stopped him. The two looked into each other’s eyes for a moment and then nodded.

“Soul Unison: Axl Soul!” R MegaMan activated the Axl Soul chip and his body was immediately encased in the corresponding armor. R Axl held out one of his BurnerMan arms and allowed his friend to copy its power. With both of them now armed with the Rabid Cupcake’s weapons, they turned and took aim at the Omega Virus X.

“Double Strike Burner!”

Meanwhile, R ProtoMan and R SearchMan were busy handling things on the road.

“SuperVulcan Battlechip!” R SearchMan shifted his sniper rifle to his other hand and let his right morph into a SuperVulcan. He brought the weapon forward and launched a hailstorm of bullets. Once the last shot had been fired, R ProtoMan dashed in and performed his Delta Ray Edge around the Omega Virus X. Meanwhile on the inside, Noah was beginning to pant nervously. The hailstorm of attacks did not leave him completely unfazed, as he checked his creation. The outer shell of the virus showed the first signs of wear, as a multitude of cracks ran throughout.


With all these nonstop attacks, it’s no wonder this is happening, he thought, Time to amp things up a few levels. He pushed a button on his armrest and his chair began to ascend. Back outside, R MegaMan was flying in towards the Omega Virus X with Gyro Soul. As soon as he had landed on its back, he switched to Guts Soul and slammed his enormous fists into the beast’s hide. After a few more punches, he reverted back to normal mode but immediately activated Metal Soul and resumed his assault. Unfortunately, he was so focused on the task at hand that he failed to notice the Omega Virus X’s three tails coming up until they slammed into him and knocked him away.

“Soul Unison: Shadow Soul!” R MegaMan’s red and blue Metal Soul armor disappeared and he was quickly garbed in his red scarf and purple Shadow Soul clothes, “NeoVariable Battlechip!” His hand transformed into the shining blade and he teleported behind the Omega Virus X. He delivered one quick slash to the center of its back before teleporting back out to the front. At around that moment, R Axl had just activated an AntiDamage chip and was just finishing up throwing the last of the shurikens when R MegaMan reverted back to normal mode. R ProtoMan and R SearchMan regrouped with them on the nearest pedestrian overpass and the four Net Saviors gazed up at the Omega Virus X.

“It looks like we’ve still got a way to go,” the blue-clad teen noted. Suddenly, a column of light burst up from the top of the monster’s head and Noah appeared. The boy genius pulled off his mask, stood up, and walked out to the front, positioning himself between its three horns. A microphone headset that he was wearing served to amplify his voice so his opponents could hear him even at such a distance.

“So you decided to fight my Omega Virus X, after all.”

“Noah!” R MegaMan shouted, “Stop this immediately! Don’t you realize that what you’re doing is wrong?”

“And how is being the savior – the messiah, if you will – of all those tormented children considered wrong?” Noah asked.

“There’s nothing wrong with that!” R Axl replied, “It’s just the way you’re executing your plan that’s wrong!”

“Noah, we’re going to stop you and your Omega Virus X!” R ProtoMan yelled, “Our online team will disable your Ultima Virus core generator and you’ll no longer be able to terrorize the world!”

“Well, I AM starting to grow tired of destroying all these offenders one-by-one,” Noah sighed, “So instead, I’ll kill them with one fell attack! Mr. Hikari, Mr. Chaud, and Mr. Obihiro, I’m sure you’re familiar with this technique.”

“What’s he talking about?” asked R SearchMan as he turned to the other three Official NetBattlers.

“We’re about to find out,” R MegaMan replied, “and I dearly pray to God that Noah’s not about to use what I think he’s about to use.”

“Omega Virus X,” Noah’s voice boomed, “FINAL GENESIS!”

All the eyes on the Omega Virus X opened wide and shone with bright red light. All across the Earth, every single computer monitor, television, or any other screen suddenly went dark and on them a red counter displaying three zeros appeared.

“I was afraid of this,” R MegaMan whispered as he looked up at Noah.

“Consider yourselves fortunate!” the child prodigy called out, “The last time you battled my Omega Virus, it took one minute to reach one hundred, meaning you had just a little over six minutes then. However, because of the Omega Virus X’s improvements, I’ve had to make a sacrifice. So I’ve extended the time it takes for the Final Genesis to unleash its power. You now have exactly 666 seconds until everyone on this planet is killed!”

“That’s only eleven minutes and six seconds!” Axl yelled from inside R Axl.

“Wait a second, Noah!” R ProtoMan yelled, “Wouldn’t that mean you’d be killing those you’re trying to protect?”

“Not at all!” Noah answered, “I’ve placed them all inside a safety bunker that’s shielded from even the Final Genesis.”

“How does that work?”

“I made that shield using the Omega Virus X, the only thing that could ever create a barrier to withstand its own ultimate attack!”

“Well if we have 666 seconds to stop your Omega Virus X, we should be able to save everyone in no time!” cried R MegaMan. Noah laughed menacingly as he brushed a strand of hair from his forehead and let it stand up on end.

“That’s assuming IF you can! I’ve noticed that throughout this entire battle, you haven’t used Full Synchro yet.”

“What’s it to you?” asked R SearchMan.

“Because I’ve achieved Full Synchro, as well! With my Omega Virus X!” Noah laughed as he returned to his chair, rested his plushie back on his lap, and pulled his mask back down over his head. His chair receded back into the Omega Virus X and he was once again surrounded by a network of nerves.

“Viral Full Synchro!”

A whirlwind burst up around the prepubescent prodigy and a black light surrounded his body as he and the Omega Virus X became synchronized.

“I can’t believe it!” gaped R Axl, “He actually did it!”

“Omega Virus X!” Noah’s voice echoed from the giant black virus, “Begin the countdown!” All over the world, the counters flashed briefly and they all started to climb.

“This is it!” R MegaMan yelled to the other Net Saviors, “We have to stop Noah in under eleven minutes or the world is doomed!”

“Just try to stop the count!” Noah challenged. His maniacal laughter echoed throughout the area as the counters worldwide continued to climb, every single one of them steadily getting one second closer to reaching the dreaded apocalyptic number.

This is really cool with what you got so far. I'm even impressed that you got Noah to achieve Full Synchro with the Omega Virus X. I'm even more surprised with how you got that child genius to imatate the characer from that video game. What's it called again? Anyway, I hope that you finish this season up. I mean, it looked as thought you've worked hard just to try to come up with more ideas for the story. I still feel sorry for Noah. I mean, he may be a evil brat, but he's still an innocent kid on the inside. He wouldn't be doing all of those things if those people from within his past had treated him the right way. He's becoming everything that he hates. I do hope that there's a good ending for him. By the way, after you do finish this season for this story, take a rest and relax a while. You of all people deserve it after putting up with piles of school work and such. As for me, I'm still going to continue writing my stories. Even if I grow old, I'll still continue to write. But The Battle here seem's to be one sided. You can't have a war without a few causilties. Except for maybe the Cold War

I honestly found myself nodding off once or twice during this chapter (although that might be to blame for the all-nighter I pulled recently). But seriously, why don't the good guys ever get hit?

Not trying to be difficult, but yeah.

And I have a hard time seeing Noah as one who would quit. Seems to me that he'd go down with the Omega X Virus.

But what do I know?
