Electricity, both of them. Aluminum is in BCC and it increases electric attacks and gets turned to grass by a wood attack. Aluminum panels look just like Metal panels but they work entirely differently. Ocean Panels are in EXE5 and slow down movement like EXE3's send panels. Marina Viruses and ToadSoul can hide in Ocean Panels Mole-style, meaning ground-greaking attacks can still hit, in addition to elec attacks. An electric attack on an ocian panel will also make it disappear. |

So are Metal panels gone now in lieu of Aluminum? _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

Well, like I said Aluminum was ONLY in BCC as a way to balance out the terrain system. The game designers wanted to have magma as a theme terrain for fire navis, ice for aqua, and grass for wood. That didn't leave anything for elec navis, so they invented aluminum. For some reason I doubt Aluminum would ever make it into the regular games.
But it's not like Metal Panels lasted more than one game either. Well, they were in BN4 but there was no way to control their appearance in battle so they weren't something you could use anyway. And I think they're gone completely in EXE5. |
