X-Play!

You know, G4 Tech TV, Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb, brutally honest video game reviews, unfair treatment of interns, weird embodied voices. Any one else watch it?

I stopped watching G4TTV all together. All it is now is a bunch of marketing enduced, MTV like garbage. I used to watch XPlay on TTV because it was one of the standout points on the channel (So was Unscrewed: The channel doesn't have to be all tech, and can be immature at times.) but now, with all the identical shows playing...the channel is just G42 (Which is NO accomplishment by any means...)

Sorry for making a rant...but I used to watch XPlay (Before they moved, and a little time after, but I just don't like what TTV has become.)

We don't get MTV on free channels anymore.... it used to be on channel 5, but I live in NZ so....

I am pissed off with G4's acquisition of TechTV as well. Nonetheless, if it is still on the air, I will watch X-Play.

If I recall correctly, it was known as "Extended Play" in 2003....before they changed the name.

I watched X-Play back when it was called Extended Play and before that it was called Gamespot TV on the ZDTV network. After that the network changed its named to TechTV, and Gamespot TV became Extended Play after that. And before Morgan Webb, Adam had two other co-hosts before her and they were Lauren Fielder and Kate Botello. I still watched X-Play and the show is still funny to watch but with the loss of the original disembodied voice intro, the show doesn't feel the same.

It is good to know that I am not the only one who adored the old disembodied voice. The new 'guest' ones are terrible and doesn't capture the spirit of the show, even if it is quite arcane.

I think they're just trying to be funny or raise suspense or something. This show is just weird sometimes. I hope he does return, though. He was the only who could scorn Adam and Morgan in just the right way.

Remember that commecial with the crazed gamer who despised Sessler and adored Morgan? Do you think he'll return?

Why did G4 do that? Oh yeah, it's because they DON'T GIVE A DAMN about the video game shows.

I use to watch X-Play everyday when it was on basic cable before I moved. Now I have to go into the living room to catch it, I only have basic in my room. And that's just to much of a hassle. I have only caught like one or two new episodes since the start of this year.

I basically stopped watching as much once it joined with G4 and became mainly or..all gameshows. The other shows are pointless and they SUCK in my opinion.

Yeah, I watch X-Play here to there, though I hate how Adam Sessler bashed Megaman, he pisses me off, LOL, it was the episode where they was promoting "Attack of the Show" and Sessler was gonna make a new show that he ripped everyone, one of the things he ripped on was something like "I'll stop, when Capcom stops making damn Megaman games" or some crap.....I WAS HEATED!!!!!!!!

But I love the Resident Evil 4 Review episode where they had a guy dressed in a Nemesis costume working at the G4TechTV station....Nemesis making Coffee and typing on the keyboard is priceless, LMAO
