The more I think about it, the more it makes sense that it would be a battery.
There are a number of products out there for iPods that let you add an external battery to keep your iPod running when its batteries die out (like the Belkin Backup Battery Pack, to name one example). Roll is a healing Navi and can essentially "recharge" a Navi. Put 2 and 2 together. |

| Maybe that button is for pervy navis. If they press it she goes to Devil Roll mode and wips the bajebus outta them. That's how the Devil chip worked on her. It actavated her button |

Back on topic, I doubt Roll's butt-on is used to hold her hair down, seeing as a flat ponytail like hers could potentially be used to smack someone in the face.
