Is there a way to trade Giga chips from blue moon to red son like Forte another for Forte?

No, GigaChips are utterly un-tradeable. In fact, if you cheat so you can have RS Giga Chips in Blue Moon, they'll have the wrong pictures because they're simply not supposed to be there.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

The Giga Chips are version exclusive. That means you cannot trade it to another cart. If you think emptying your sack until you have just the sole GigaChip and then battling for real and losing is a way around it, well then Capcom saw it too and implemented a fail-safe. All Network features should be disabled if the only chip you have in your pack is a GigaChip. Because of that, having Blue Moon and Bass in the same folder is well-nigh impossible unless you cheat. And of course, you DON'T cheat, do you?

I would prefer if such things are not brought up as it's against the forum's rules.

Punk.exe from EXE3 Black/MMBN3 Blue
LanceLite and MaxMan wrote:

Kingman.exe on the left, and Darkman.exe on the right, both from EXE4/MMBN4

Yes, the Boktai games are for GBA to the best of my knowledge.

um... Kingman and Darkman are from EXE3, though, and I was wondering... I was looking on GameFAQs and it was talking about [spoil:ba6b466b52]a special program you get in Black Earth that "repents for your bad deeds" so... what precisely does that do? does it like cancel out the negative darkchip effects?[/spoil:ba6b466b52] -.-

Eh? I do not know if such a program exists.

*thinks*

Oh, you must mean SoulCleanser. It has been described before...it is a program that allows you to shift from dark to light in a speedier fashion than normal. Basically, it allows you to shift from DS to the light with fewer battles.

While Soul Cleanser will help reverse the darkening process, it will NOT give you back the HP you lost. Nothing will.

There IS a program that lets you use Dark Chips without penalty called "Dark Memory", but you can only get it through an E-Reader or something, it does not exist in the game naturally, so don't bother looking for it.

Oh, and all the navis in my sig are BN3 navis, except for the fan-made ones. Incidently, I'm wondering why you asked about the official characters you were unfamiliar with but not the unofficial ones. Is it that easy to tell them apart?

You are aware that all known NumberMan codes are on Gamefaqs, right?

sure are... the easiest was the yellow roll one on the right. and the other sprites just below it are too. the others im not sure if they're from other games or exe5 so i'll wait to find out. but some are easy to spot as fan made... i've had some experience with these type of things before...

To enter BlackEarth2...you need to present a StandardID, which implies that you have all 150 Standard Chips.

You also need at least one navi chip of each navi that is present in your game. It does NOT have to be SP or DS.

Thus, a RS player needs not worry about having a copy of WoodMan, and conversely, a BM player does not need to worry about having a copy of Roll.

That is what I know.

You should be able to find ALL of the DS chips of the navis common to both versions in BlackEarth1 GMDs. The six mirrors in BlackEarth2 will give you the rest of them.

As I know, as a RS player with all navi data from BM, I cannot get ProtoManDS in the GMDs in BlackEarth, sadly.

^ You have to get your friend to give you his DS chips that he finds in their BlackEarth. No RS player can hold a BluesDS chip until a BM player trades him that chip, which requires a visit to BlackEarth2.

That and the long way, tranferring the navi through the waiting room, encountering it in a tournament in the next playthrough and then finding its SP version on the net and deleting it with a dark chip...but yeah, trading the chip directly is the best way anyway.

^ That works too, but that means -1 HP permanently. So I didn't bother with it, and I don't have any of the BM navi DS chips. Bah.
