Hmm... so that's no more new soul unisons now, for 20 episodes...

I think we're either gonna get a bunch crammed in to a few episodes in a row, or Stream's gonna last longer than Axess did.

I'm kinda hoping for the latter, since I'd rather have them keep at least decent pacing and not waste any souls, like they pretty much did IMO in Axess.

Yeah, going at a slower pace would be nice, but they want to keep up with the games too. They should be starting to develop EXE6 any time now and in just a few months there'll be a whole bunch of new characters and souls the anime will have to accomodate as well. The anime was about a year behind for EXE1 and EXE2 and they ended up cramming all the EXE3 and EXE4 stuff together for Axess so they could finally catch up. It seemed like they were well ahead of schedule for EXE5, but now at the rate they're going they'll be a year behind again for EXE6.

Of course there's a difference, but they still use the same characters. And from a marketing standpoint it makes much more sense to have current episodes of the anime use characters from the current game. If the anime was focusing on Shouryu and all the Gospel characters right now, it'd seem pretty out of date, even though the story doesn't necessarily match up. The EXE game of the moment is 5, so that's what the anime should be promoting. And in just a few months, it'll be time to promote EXE6.

Actually I think this was one of the funniest episodes I've seen. I almost fell off my chair laughing when Netto and Nenji were running away from a completely insane Telsa. I felt sorry for Magnetman though. I wasn't aware that netnavis could take near heart attacks, lol.

Of course,Magnetman can just run away. Maybe like in Stream 1 and 2 where Forte kidnaps Rock.
