I started this last year - realized I couldn't paint, and then trashed it after only doing the watercolour wash in the background and screwing it up...then, this year, after having (slightly) mastered using acrylics, I decided, "Hey! Why not finish your old painting!"
So I did - I got right down to business! I fixed my old mistakes and realised that I now-know how to paint a least slightly well with acrylics, I got to work on the main figure in the front.
Note that the whole painting was too big to fit into the scanner, so I took a tiny webcam pic of the whole thing first, so that you could see what the whole composition looks like.
Whole Composition
Yes, it's blurry, but it's only purpose is to show you what the whole composition looks like.
And then, here, I scanned as much of it as I could - centering on the main figure (X himself). I think it turned out rather well and while I could use a bit of work on my shading, the colour is definatly vibrant and works well with the picture.
Close Up Scanned
And before someone goes and says it - yes, it does look a lot like the X7 art for X, but that is because that's the only pose that I thought would fit nicely into the composition. Also, you might say "well then why doesn't it look exactly like the X7 art" and I say "Because while I had the X7 art pose in mind, I didn't work off a picture, and this was done entirely from memory."
So yeah, C+C perhaps?
