Question about Django the Solarboy

I know that he is a konami character but from which game did he make his first apperence? he been popping up in all kinds of places lately.
I happen to own a PSP and I have a copy of Metal Gear AC!D, and I was browsing through a card list on Gamefaqs I found "Gun Del Sol", and there were other cards which were Django related, exactly which game did he make his 1st apperence in and is it still avalible? (And for those who own MGA, the card does a whopping 200 damage+Burn on a wide area, a must have card for sure).

Django first appeared in his own game, Boktai: The Sun is in your Hand.

Duh! Everyone knows about Boktai game. The bad thing of it is that you need to play under sunlight to finish a level... which sucks... not many people can afford a black light...

What I've noticed that's weird is that the whole sunlight thing is what makes some people either love or hate the game. Some people think the solar sensor is bad while others think it's really cool and want to buy the game because of it.

I play my Boktai games all the time (unless I'm busy with Metroid Fusion or Pokemon Emerald, of course)... still need to finish Hard mode on the first one, if Sabata didn't keep killing me. Laughing

Sabata is just too cute... *hugs him really tight and doesn't let go*

I just got the game lately, and I love it! I got Boktai 1, and will buy Boktai 2 or maybe Bok....maybe this should be in a spoiler tag-[spoil:a02777cca8]Boktai 3[/spoil:a02777cca8] when it's out. And when I have saved enough money... Sad

I can get 4 blocks max on the guage.

Edit: I got 6 blocks yesterday!

Boktai huh? Well I heard of it but I don't remember where from. it was on GBA? oh I got an other Boktai card, Dark Loans, exactly what is this 'dark bank' thing thats going on? Basicly this card give you 0 damage for 3 turns then reduces you HP to 1, man I got to get this game.
