Here's the basic idea.
Invis. Pull out a GunSol. Shine it as long as you can.
Pull another one out. And another. Until you're out.
Then, take a LifeSword (you should be able to acquire four copies of the requisite chips by Duo the first time) and keep whacking. If he ain't dead, hit him with charged shots.
And learn to notice the patterns of his attacks. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

Do any of you know where the best place to get circgun 2 and 3? And if I fight a virus with the chip, what level do I need to be at before I can get those chips? Those are the last 2 chips I need... I can't find them anywhere.... *feels lame....* _________________

CircGun 3 - Battle CircSmsh/CircShmsh EX or Trade 10 Chips in Electown.
CircGun 2 - same but battle the lower ranking Circ... i think CirKill. Trading chips also mite work.
and yea.. i was asking about the ds chips of my RS. what im saying is that i did not get a few ds chips. those are of cold man and fire man. i didnt get to battle them either. does it mean that their chips are in black earth 1 somewhere?? _________________

Not to worry. CircGun3, if I recall correctly, can be found in the final MeteorComp en route to playing your DS and Duo.
CircGun2 is somewhere in the Undernet...

Yes they are. FireMan will be in a mirror in BlackEarth2, and you'll have to come back to harvest the GMDs in BlackEarth1 to find a copy of ColdMan. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Certain DS chips can only be obtained in BE1 mystery data, and others in BE2. I forget which area has Coldman, so just keep checking both areas. Also remember that GMDs always have RANDOM contents, so if you don't find Coldman on your first visit you can just keep going back until you do find it.
Regarding the Golden Program in the Watergod Comp (responding to a couple of questions in a locked thread): Yes, the program does nothing but heal you and give you a lot of zenny. At his rarity level I suppose the game designers didn't want to make it too important like making it give you the most powerful Giga Chip in the game or something, that would be pretty cruel since only about 10% of BN4 players even know it exists and even less have actually encountered it.
As for the conditions for encountering it, I wouldn't trust what people say about it needing to be during the tournament scenario or needing to have certain stats. It's way too rare to make any judgement based on that. I'm fairly sure it was during the scenario when I encountered it anyway. I wouldn't waste time searching for it, just rely on luck. You'll know what it looks like when you play BN5, and the rewards aren't that spectacular. |

I do believe the Golden Bank Program (Mr. Prog) hands out battlechips as well. Some people I've played BN4 with say they acquired their copy of LifeSword (using Wide and Long Blade S) through the Bank Program. Still doubt it, but others say the S-coded blades are a possible reward.

I got my Long Blade S chips from GMD in Undernet 1. o.o Make sure you use Untrap subchips, because I'm fairly sure it only appears in virus trapped GMDs. In general, the virus trapped GMDs hold greater rewards, and since Untrap lasts forever (as far as I can tell), I use them every time I plug in. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Umm... Can you rephrase that? I'm sure I'm not the only one confused with that question.
Untrap subchips last as long as you stay plugged-in and they're dirt cheap too. Even better if you unlocked all areas of the internet! I love 'em! ^_^ _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. The only difference is that you don't get weird looks for talking to them. |

I've only been able to draw out a single LongBlade S through my chip trading. How I loathe you, 10-Chip Trader. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

I have 5 Long Blade S chips. o.o Why trade... I swear, all of mine came from virus-trapped GMDs. I'm fairly certain they're from Undernet 1. Pack some Untrap subchips and head there. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Well, just for kicks, I confirmed it. I just got another Long Blade S from a trapped GMD in Undernet 1. It was the GMD near the entrance but on the other side of a conveyor. Not the one near the warp pad. I don't know if the other GMDs have Long Blade S chips in them or not. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

There's a pool of about ten or so values that a given GMD can take the value of. To the best of my knowledge, they (WideBlade S and LongBlade S) are mutually exclusive-i.e., they do not exist in the same pool simultaneously.
Enzan Chaud wrote: | WideBlade S are fairly easier to get, I'm sure. If you have a total S folders with those thrown in...oh the Blues Based havoc you can wreak upon the innocent mets... |
You'd be surprised. I have not found a single one in any GMD, as of yet. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! From what I know, Wideblade S are available in the Hard Mode (2nd playthrough) of the Green Mystery Data in Ura Net 1 (Undernet 1). |
