I managed to catch most of the episode, and it wasn't half-bad. Laika voice is pretty good; they made a decent choice there. I wish I could say that for Videoman, but I didn't care for his deeper voice at all. It kind of killed the quirky-ness of that guy for me. _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

I think Raika's voice is Jeffrey Watson, who also is the voice of Axl from megaman and Jet from D.I.C.E,eh I could be wrong but it sounds like it _________________

Megaman 7- [spoil:adf9addd74]Raika blows up the Dimensional converter and saves Lan from Videoman.[/spoil:adf9addd74]
Falcov- No way, Mark Oliver is WAY too old for Raika ._.
Blazequest- It might've been, they tend to use a Japanese track every so often.
Illusion- So he's a film geek, live with it >:P

I wanted to see Video Man sound like Mr.Movie Phone.
Raika sounds alright. I like the onion ring analogy he made even though it looked more like he was just eating a steak meal. |

Ah, pliers, how I love thee... Wasn't anything too major, just a short in the wiring, I've known it was coming for a while now. (I'm not a complete idiot, I just do a good impression!)
They kept the strangling? I figured that they'd change it since it was a Navi strangling Lan instead of a technical failure.
Ah well. Can't wait to see it now... _________________

So that means Laika was voiced by the guy who voiced Axl?
o lawd
I didn't like Axl's voice much. :/ But Laika's is better. :O

Though I'm not the biggest fan of Laika, I liked today's episode ^^ Videoman kinda creeped me out to be honest, but that's inconsequential. Though I haven't seen the original, one can tell sometimes where things have been edited or not, and I must say I'm pretty pleased. Much of the stuff listed seemed to just be things for time, and only a few (like the seconds removed from the strangling) were "actual" edits. Hooray Shopro, give them a cookie from me too.
Though personally I think Laika is a bit of a jerk (I hate people who put down others in any way just because they don't think the same), I can't wait to see Search Soul when it comes. And I hope that the future episodes are like the ones recently passed (saved for that Savageman one). The dubbers seem to be getting better *nods* _________________

*gasp* OMG They renamed Laika-kun Raika? I don't see any kind of connection with the two names or why they even wanted to rename him. I think these American dubs are getting out of hand T_T _________________ Being short has its advantages |

Roll Soul: Then you'll be glad to see Axess 40. >>
Loved this one. Kifune's and Famous' English accents stood out quite a bit next to Raika, who didn't have any noticeable accent. There goes the Russian consipracy. >_>;; But it's actually a damn good voice for him. Only gripe I have is that the music was too loud at times to hear their voices properly. :P Otherwise, dubbers did a good job for once.
...besides, R and L in Japanese are practically the same. It's not that much of a difference. O_o;;

Boy, it is hard to have an opinion around you. T_T However, so far he's the only new character voice I really don't care for, and that's not bad considering.
I hope the Aquaman episode shows up sometime. I'm really curious to see what him and Shuuko sound like. _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

L's and R's are pronouced the same in Japanese *I think*. so Rika is pretty much the same as Lika *same goes to Meiru and Maylu* _________________ Tsk tsk tsk

I hate to say it, but you misspelled "misspell."
And I suppose it is Lan's nature to be cocky, but do they really have to take it to that great of an extent? There's only so far before it cannot be realistic...and perhaps Lan has crossed that line. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks!
