Good news! I went to another Wal-mart, and found Aqua Soul! The only one there in fact. They also had 1 Junk Soul, 2 Thunder Souls, 1 Number Soul, and 1 Wind Soul. I bought Aqua Soul gleefully and I really like it. It looks great. ^_^

No sign of Wood Soul, however.

Earlier today (or yesterday rather, as it's after midnight in my time zone) I dropped by Wal-Mart again. And...they still have all the same figures, including the Heat Guts with the torn package Laughing

.. Actually, they had less stuff, since a wave of Duel Masters things are trying to take over the combined width of the Megaman and Yu-Gi-Oh! sections... Anyway, I came away with a new figurine today, the 5.5" Bass with the Vulcan1 battle chip... And I mention it for one question: Is it as rare as sites would have one believe? Well okay, two questions ^^; I'll be getting a PET pretty soon (like next week/month or so) and I was wondering if either of the chips I had (the aforementioned Vulcan1, and the Thunder Ball that came with my 3" Metal Soul) were any good...

Yeah, I'm clueless when it comes to.....well, a bunch of EXE stuff. Oh well ^^;

Bass was rare last Aug, now he is as easy as it is to find a He-Man still on the shelves from the MotU figures, meaning there are like 5 billion Basses around.

Well, I was at another Target yesterday, and, they got RollSoul in, and had lots of FireMans and WindMans. Too bad there were no SearchMans.

Well I couldn't find Search Man today, but I did find.... Roll Soul at least.

It's a decent figure I suppose, I wish they put a Roll Arrow projectile instead of a crappy blast though....

I went to target today, and the only souls they had were Guts(which I already have), Number, and Thunder.

Now, design-wise, I love Number Soul, but that Thunderman chip was a big draw for me as well...

So I flipped a coin. Heads for Thunder, Tails for Number...

It came up Tails.

Decent paint apps and the exploding Saikoro Bomb is kinda funny, although the arm that launches the bomb has a loose wrist, causing the hand to spin rather easily...

You know what I just noticed out of pure boredom?

Well, if you still have them, look on the back of the packages to one of the first series Soul Unison figures, the second series of SU figures, and the virus buster figures.

What do you see?

Well, first off, Rollsoul is at the very end on the right hand corner. Woodsoul is at the very end on the right hand corner. SearchMan is at the bottom very end on the right hand corner.

Maybe the one at the right hand corner for every series now will be a hard to find one. Laughing

I finally found new Soul figures yesterday at K-Mart. They were like $10.50 a pop though. They had pretty much every one but Wood Soul. I got Number and Junk. I like these a lot. Especially Junk Soul. ^_^ It just looks so cool. I think if I had to pick a soul to define myself, it would be Junk Soul. lol Because I collect things, but not all things. Random things that interest me and they often get randomly arranged in a way where only I can find them. I'm not a messy person, but I'm not a neat freak by any means. Heh. Let me give you an example. When I was a kid, I had this cloth bag that I would put nifty objects in that I would find on the playground or on the road or floor or wherever. Sometimes I would find something that made a decent Megaman weapon for my American Megaman figure and used it in my little arsenal. I even found a cool metal blade and a shadow blade. Made of real metal. Laughing

If I dug around enough, I could probably find that bag in the boxes I packed when I moved out...

maybe figures seen near the right side of the packaging are the ones they generally need to take more time on?

I'm curious to see what the basic body to Wood Soul looks like...

Got my Searchman today, express from the great white north, eh?

Best Paint Apps I've seen on an NTW figure yet, no problems with any of the joints(Except that his legs don't have any, :puku: ), and DAMN that missle flies far.

No wonder these are so rare, it's like Mattel is trying to cover up their success so nobody will come to expect better things from them... Neutral

no it's because Mattel is too busy screaming at the factory workers who keep mucking up on Search Man figures because he has a very complex paint job.

Well, I haven't seen Searchman yet, but I did see Wind(blast)man and Gutsman at Toys R Us today. And a few other things, one of which I bought ^^. Looking through their boxes of Soul figures, I found Search Soul tucked back between two more common ones. And I almost bought it, until I saw the one at the VERY back. You are now looking at a very happy Roll Soul that now owns...well, a Roll Soul Laughing

. Heh, I should've gone to Toys R Us earlier =P

And I know this is the EXE figure topic, but I thought it was worth mentioning what else I saw: a couple Classic figures (mainly Napalm Bomb Megaman, and two Quickman), and packages of various X series figures. When I go back to get Search Soul or maybe Proto Soul, I may buy Quickman just to have it =P (Although I'd prefer Cutman or Springman, but I don't even know if those exist -_-; )
