"Hana" and "Japanese People" by Orange Range
"Mizu no Naka" by Mosquito-Milk
"Meteor" by TM Revolution
"Akaneiro ga Moeru Toki" by Scoobie Do?

Those are all songs I like to listen to. They are all very soothing, to me.

Interesting question...Suteki da Ne (FFX) usually does the trick, as does Simple & Clean (KH). Then again, they can also depress the hell out of me, depending on my mood.

Well, I'd say Aeris' theme from FFVII, and 1000 Words from FFX-2

Does Cruel Angel's Thesis(Evangelion) count...? I love that song...

If so, that and many many MegaMan video game bg tunes - Elecman's tune comes to mind. And Super Metroid's soundtrack - particularly Maridia's tune. Sonic 2's soundtrack also - particularly Sky Chase Zone's tune.

"Earth Temple" from LoZ:TWW... it helped me to get rid of my pre-job-interview-nervousness.. which applies to the sailing theme anyway.

As for actual songs -
Master Swordsman Zero wrote:
"Mizu no Naka" by Mosquito-Milk

- agreed!
And - "Say yes" (by whomever, I cannot read Kanji ;__; ), the song from Bubblegum Crisis - Double Vision. Beautiful.

I always like to hear the theme of Aeris from FFVII, the theme of the world map (FFVII too), One Winged Angel (Sephiroth´s theme), Gerudo´s Valley (Zelda OoT) and the opening of Record of Lodoss the Heroic Knight.
