Crazy for Zero

This is my first fanfic. I also published this fic in fanfiction.net for those who care.

This fanfic is rated PG-13 for some censored crude language and suicide.

The genre is R/D with a strong dose of OOC. :eyes:

-CRAZY FOR ZERO-

“Zero, I love you”, said Ciel while taking Zero by the shoulders.

“Sorry Ciel, but it can’t be”, replied the blonde-haired reploid and took Ciel’s hands off his shoulders.

“But, why?”, cried Ciel with tears in her blue eyes.

“Isn’t that obvious?”, told Zero, “It’s because you’re human and I’m a reploid. It’s true, I love you too, I can’t hide it anymore, but we can’t be together because we’re different. You’re made from flesh and bones, and I’m made of metal. You’re a living being, but I’m simply a machine. Sorry Ciel.”.

Ciel noticed a tear roll by Zero’s cheek, who left the room. All the resistance heard Ciel crying all night.

The next day, Ciel apparently forgot the incident with Zero, and was busy in her workshop building a reploid.

“Yes, this wire goes here, and next the arm power core, the hand goes here, heehee, when I complete this, Zero won’t say no when I ask him to be my boyfriend. Heehee!”, Ciel told herself with a big smile on her face.

Later that afternoon, Ciel, Elpizo and Cerveau were in a strange room with an even stranger machine with two panels. In one was an inactive female reploid body which looked like Ciel, and in the other, was Ciel. Ciel and the reploid body had some weird dome-like helmets on their heads.

“Cerveau, activate the mind-transfer!”, told Ciel to Cerveau

“But, Ciel, you’re sure about this?”, replied Cerveau, worried for what Ciel was about to do.

“Of course I’m sure, dang! Just activate the machine!”, replied angrily Ciel.

“Well, as you want.”, said Cerveau, who activated the machine. Ciel received an electric shock and fainted. As Ciel fainted, the reploid awoken.

“Whoa! It’s a success! Now I’m a reploid!”, said the Ciel reploid.

“Yeah, but what will think Zero about this?” , asked Elpizo.

“I know what.” , said Ciel and started to daydream with Zero wearing a black tuxedo and her wearing a white dress.

“Yes, of course you know” , said sarcastically Cerveau, “, oh and if you forgot, reploid weddings are illegal.”

“SHUT UP, YOU F***ING CERVEAU!” shouted furiously Ciel.

“Her mood is worse than ever now she’s a reploid” ,thought Cerveau.

Later that night…

Zero was in his room, thinking about what happened last night.

“I wonder if I did right. Maybe I could simply say “yes” to Ciel and end with all this drama.” , thought Zero.

He was so concerned on his own problems that he didn’t notice Ciel enter his room.

Ciel poked his shoulder to get Zero’s attention. Zero turned back and saw Ciel. But, unlike Ciel expected, he wasn’t happy, he was completely scared and indignant.

“HOLY F***! What the hell you became?”, shouted Zero.

“I’m a reploid now Zero. Now we’re from the same species, now we can be together forever!”, said Ciel, full of hope.

“No…. no… you are insane, crazy…. You are completely crazy….” ,said scared Zero.

“Yes, I’m crazy. Crazy for you, Zero:” , replied Ciel.

“You’re insane... I don’t want to see you anymore in all my life!. And for making it easier, I’m going to end with this right here, right now.” , said Zero before drawing his saber.

Ciel stepped back scared, because she thought Zero was about to murder her, but he did something different. He decapitated HIMSELF. After he slashed his own head, his headless body and the bodiless head fell to the floor. Zero died. And everything was Ciel’s fault.

It was alright for a short, but Ciel and Zero were VERY OOC. (Out of Character)
