This is my guess for what they will do with the new DS game:
On the top screen, there will be a long list of battle chips (shown with names and pictures) on the left, and a Stream PET on the right. You use your stylus to click on the battle chip, and you can hear Netto saying the chip name (Battle chip, *chip name*, slot in!) when the battle chip gets slot in. As soon as it slots in, your character uses the chip.
the buttom screen is the battle screen.
This is just my guess, since this seems like a game that is similar to EXE 4.5. _________________

You do realize how insanely hard it would be to stick a voice clip in for EVERY single chip in the game right??? The best we'll most likely get is the generic "Bateru Chipu......Suroto in!!!" (or however the pronounciation goes...bleah, I'm no expert.) _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

the programing of the game alone takes more work and time then recording the voices _________________

I'm sure there will be ways to use the chips and jack in the normal way rather than the ways you guys listed. We'll wait until more news is revealed until we know if there will be more new characters. |

..Are you willing to pay a million of bucks extra so you can have a vocal clip for every battlechip? Sound takes up quote a lot of space.
Not to mention that it'll just be canned for the EU/US release.
Quote: | Pressing "R" to plug in is also more efficiant then touching the screen, as is the current menu style, but that's just one Junkman's opinion. |
+ one Numberman opinion. Maybe they'll keep the old controls in too.
I'm afraid that this'll just be another game that could be easily done on the GBA, not that the GBA's a bad system. I suppose that the possibility of exchanging chips means that 5 DS and 5 will have exactly the same libraries. _________________ Make a random avatar/ banner. | Atomic Fire's oekaki board. |

ok then, forget what I said. Maybe the chip will just be slotted in without any voices. _________________

~Set to be released by Cpacom Japan on July 21st
~Uses the DS's microphone
~Links up with EXE5 GBA
~Includes a 3-D rockman on the touch screen
~Liberate Missions are back!
~Incorporates both versions of EXE5 GBA, and the transfer of Characters in one's party
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I'm hoping it'll be is an all new (but fairly familiar) crisis involving new enemies and new areas. Because it relates to the previous EXE 5, you can already call upon the friends you've made again, though within some restriction I'm sure. Those DS carts are what, a gig in size? They have a bit more room at their disposal, and I don't think new enemies is asking a lot.
Gratuitous repeating the story of 5 over again would be such a waste, and for the first time I'd be entirely upset with an EXE game. However, I'm rather hoping it's not that, and I don't see why it would be. 4.5 was kind of the same deal. It took the Navis from both versions of 4 and put them into one pack, and then threw in some additional ones as well, which was nice. It wasn't a ripoff of 4 either story-wise, though technically, it really didn't have a story. Twin Leaders appears to be a bit more dynamic than 4.5. |

i know which 6 soul navi's im gonna pick :D
Probably you must choose between Blues and Colonel.
They will do something like this, i think:
at every location you can choose the partner
Blues - Colonel
Magnetman - Knightman
Gyroman - Shadowman
Napalmman - Tomahawkman
Searchman - Numberman
Medi - Toadman
would be cooler if you can choose any navi, then my team would have been: Blues, Magnetman, Knightman, Shadowman, Napalman, Searchman :D |

9 times out of 10 it's just EXE5 all over again with some little features put in and a few new chips and bosses. Because it's called EXE [b]5[b/] Twin Leaders, it's most likely not going to be anything very new and original. _________________

EXE3 had Flashman, Beastman, Bubbleman, Gutsman, Punk, Kingman, Metalman, Desertman, Plantman, Flameman, Bowlman, Mistman, Drillman, Proto, Blues, Darkman, Yamatoman, Serenade, and Forte for a total of 19.

I have decided at this point that getting the GBA versions of EXE 5 would be impossibally pointless for a DS owner (Other than for collector's value). I can't wait for the game, I plan I getting it : o. I like the fact that you can transfer any chip from any game. I suppose that it will read the GBA game from where you put it in the DS, right? _________________

[spoil:0eff23d933]TOB: Blues, Magnetman, Gyroman, Napalmman, Searchman, Medi, Blizzardman, Shademan, Cloudman, Cosmoman, Footman, Swallowman, Nebula Gray, Forte, RockmanDS = 15
TOC: Colonel, Knightman, Shadowman, Tomahawkman, Numberman, Toadman, "....." = 15[/spoil:0eff23d933]
so 15 bosses for each version, which could be 21 if you can fight every navi from both version in Exe5 DS.
Unless they make extra bosses. |

Im getting ToC and Double Team (if i get a DS). I have a feeling that EXE 6 will be moving to the DS. Anyone else excited for this game? I mean, Come on!
