EXE5 Team of Blues/Colonel Help **READ FIRST POST**

I read all the pages of this thread but don´t find a clear explanation of boktai/BN5 connection, something about zoktai, something bout otenko chip......... can someone explaint the connection of this games?

Well, you hook up BN5 and Boktai2 and you can enter a cross-over battle. The one with the EXE5 cart battles Shademan.exe in a normal battle and the one with Zoktai battles Shademan in a Boktai-style battle. You compete to see who can smackdown Shades the fastest, and apparently your performance at any given time can affect the other player by way of bats. Apparently if you're doing well with Megaman, then it makes bats appear in the other cart to annoy Django. If you win you can get some Boktai-themed chips. The only Boktai themed chips in EXE5 are GunDelSol1-3, Django, DjangoSP, DjangoDS, GunDelSolEX, and Otenko-Sama. There's an "Otenko Point Center" that can appear in Oran2 where presumably you take points you win in the CrossOver Battle to exchange for such chips.

None of this is based-on first-hand experience mind you. It's just all the stuff that's been reported. I don't know if anybody's actually experimented with CrossOver Battle yet.

That'll be a no. The Chaos Unions don't affect Rockman's karma status (changes his color). Chaos Unions only control the Dark Chip's power by means of Soul Unison. Thus, no damage is inflicted upon Rockman while using a Dark Chip to perform Soul Unison.

Does anybody know where to find sword L and wide blade L? I can't find them after putting tons of them in the trader, the one in the cave where mejin is located. I can't buy them either since Hibsy only has code S.

ok wel i dont know about this thou but i got a question bout the Chaos Usions:
1) if using a chaos can i use evil chips?
2) can i use darkchips without it effecting my stauts
3)(if #2 is right) If im using Blues Chaos can i use the Step Sword charge up on another Dark Sword to deal double damage?

Like Mega and Giga Chips, you're only allowed one of any particular Dark Chip in your folder at a time. Since you need one Dark Sword to Chaos Unite, that leaves no Dark Sword to charge up.

Aside from that, there are only a few Dark Chips with * or matching codes, and you're only allowed three in your folder, so odds are you won't run into any situations where you can use a Dark Chip while in a Chaos Unison. Nonetheless, I guess I'll check to see how it works.

Edit: Okay, it seems Evil chips just disappear in a poof of smoke when you're in Chaos Unison, just like usual. They'd likely still work if you were of evil tendency though.

Edit Again: Scratch that, I just remembered you lose the ability to Chaos Unison with Evil Tendency anyway. So there's no way you can use Evil Chips with Chaos Unisons.

Interesting thing about using Dark Chips while in Chaos Unison though, as soon as you activate the Dark Chip Megaman will pop right out of Unison and go into Evil Mode, and yes, you still lose 1 HP after the battle is over too. I assume this same thing happens if you try to use a Dark Chip during a normal Soul Unison, though I haven't tried it yet.

So, whatever strategy you had in mind, you can forget it. :P

You don't see it, you find it. If you inspect the fireplace, an option comes up. I have no idea what it does either. The only words I saw in the textboxes were "system", "antique", "design", and "switch". It probably just turns on the fireplace or something. Nothing relevant to the game.

As far as I know, one is in the Ship Computer, and I think the other's in a terminal somewhere. Just get looking.
