EvilCut's a BN3 PA.

It uses StepSword, Paladin/HeroSword, and StepCross.

Pft, it'd be "eviler" if Muramasa was part of it >>

Yeah, but we all know Muramasa has to be reserved for the all-mighty BodyGuard.

P.As are like the Super Saiyan in DBZ. First time they see it they're all like,

"omgwtfbbq?!?"

But like 10 episodes after it's like,

"omg u kan uze uber seiyan 2????"

There's also the storyline side to this.

The script writers needed something to free PharoahMan and such in the original series, and they needed it to be unique. Now that that story is finished, there's no reason to keep it restrained.

And for the record, LifeSword is used in Axess, episode 27. It kinda breaks consistency with EXE, since it uses the same battle chips as the "almighty" BetaSword... but then again, Axess also annihilated any sign of the original PETs (even in Enzan-kid and Raúl flashbacks)... so I guess it's nothing too unusual.

Pkus they ENDLESSLY talk about the bond between NAVIs and NetOps, so I guess that adds even more to the "you gotta be synched up" thing. Actually, let's not forget that AXESS DID still keep that in mind with the Bubbleman episode, when CF wore off from Mega & Lan fighting.

That's something that's been bugging me. In 'Chaiso Comes to Town' Chaiso pulls off a PA without being in Synch with GutsMan (who didn't even have a clue as to what was going on).

Yet they still commented on how strange it was for a beginner to pull of the PA.

He did? I could never see Chisao pulling off a PA...

Keep in mind, Netto and Enzan are the best Net battlers in the world. Naturally they are the chosen ones, the only one who can succesfully do the program advance.

Then kindly explain how R-Searchman was able to use Giga Cannon on Yamatoman in episode 18? Don't give that same excuse you used for Dekao either. Last I checked, Raika wasn't around at any point to see Rockman pull off a PA prior to that.

Also Rock used Zeta Cannon on Needleman with three Hi Cannons yet every other time he uses that combo, it activates Giga Cannon.

Oh and I'm surprised no-one's mentioned this yet but R-Rockman also used MagShock in episode 18 of Stream on Yamatoman.

Uh, newpapers?

Don't forget that the original PA debuted during the N1, a move like that would have flooded the media's sports section and anyone covering the event would have mentioned it. Can you imagine the number of threads and editorials and such that would have been generated?

Besides, Laika is a Net Savior. That probably has something to do with it. Net Saviors are the only net battlers who are skilled enough to pull off a PA. Except for Chisao apparantly, I can't explain him.

And I haven't seen that episode with Yamatoman, so I was unaware of it. My apologies.

I just realized something, maybe the new P.E.T.'s are able to recognize approaching PA's now. The old Plug-in P.E.T. didn't do anything unusual when a PA combo was inserted, it just registered the individual chips. Now the P.E.T. Advance displays that little building block animation whenever the second chip in a series is inserted.

So maybe the information on a discovered PA is stored inside of the P.E.T.'s when they are distributed. That way you could browse through the various PA's.

Actually it was GigaBoomer which I believe stems from the original Japanese name of the P.A.: GigaBomb. TimeBoomer was just given to the battle chips it requires.

Program Advances I've seen during the Rockman EXE, Axess and Stream series so far. *spoilers for those who hasn't seen Stream or more of Axess*

-Beta Sword (Sword, Wide Sword, Long Sword)
-Hyper Burst (Spread Gun/Spreader x3)
-Megadus Burst (Spread Gun/Spreader x5)
-Zeta Cannon (Cannon, Hi-Cannon, Mega Cannon; sometimes uses Hi-Cannon x3 to create this PA a bit later on)
-Akuretsuzan/Evil Cut (Fumikumizan/Stepsword, Paladin Sword/Hero Sword, FumikumiCross/StepCross)
-Giga Count Bomb (Timebomb X3)
-Elemental Sword (Firesword, Aquasword, Elecsword, Bamboosword; sometimes the order is a little shuffled over but got the PA anyway)
-Giga Cannon (Cannon/Hi-Cannon/Mega Cannon x3)
-MagShock (MagBolt x3)

Well, that's all I know. Say, I read in a summary about episode 25 is it? It's the one that Blues Soul first appeared and Dark Blues wh=ent to the dark side. Did Blues use the Beta Sword PA or was it the Dream Sword/Life Sword?
