That reminds me of a funny story really. I was on a feald trip to some place and there was a simpsons arcade there. At 1st it was just me and another guy. Then 2 more people jumped in. What's even funnyer is that we started acting like we were the simpsons. We were saying stuff like "Oh nobody smacks my boy like that" :D |

I wasn't talking about fighting games. I meant games where it's you walk around the level and beat up the enemies.
Fighting games=Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, SNK vs Capcom, etc.
Beat-em-up games=Double Dragon, Kunio-kun, etc. Bad Street Brawler, I suppose would count.
BTW, is Double Dragon Advance any good?

Your comment disgraces all MVC non-smashers combo freaks out there, sir. XD Just joking.
Besides of the tiny fact that MVC is a fighting game, not a beat-em-up. 
I'll pick SNK & Noise Factory's Sengoku 3. It was released around the times of Garou Mark of the Wolves, although it's not precisely popular, but it has amazing music. Gotta love ninja storylines. |
How true Mari. I tend to consider the MVC series to be a beat-em-up, but I never considered it valid. -_-;

Oh yeah, I have to agree with those that commented on SSBM. The ultimate beat-em-up for the Gamecube.

I enjoyed Rise To Honor (it gave a variety. Although repetitive, it was just cool and a lot of time was spent on it)
