I personally think Video Game based movies are pretty good.
I would like to see a megaman movie...
The metroid movie looks interesting...but....

I still see no reason why they should make a movie of it (or rather, why you and some other people support it the idea). I'm satisfied with ingame cutscenes. You should be too. =p

Why shouldn't they support the movie?
You never know what the movie will be like until YOU SEE IT!!!!
It could be a non-matroid video game like...Samus Returns or something!!! There could be talking in that a lot because there was never a game called that!!!!!!

According to research I have done on the Wikipedia, it is confirmed tha Paris Hilton tried for the role of Samus Aran. *vomits*
According to them, Naomi Watts and Kristianna Loken have been considered.
I have also read that it has been postponed indefinitely.

But if it had nothing to do with Metroid, we wouldn't be having this problem now would we (except for the Samus thing. But no one is named Samus without referring to Metroid...)?
