Shadow the Hedgehog

Plays alot like SOnic A. 2 , Shadow is naturally your main man, In every stage, you will see two characters, Sonic, and an alien-like creature named "Doom Eye" Both of these will assist you. Sonic wants you to clear the stage defeating all the "Black Arms"(The alien creatures) where as Doom Eye would like you to harm the human GUN agents trying to destroy them, there is also a 3rd option, as in not listening to either of them and just searching for the chaos emerald.

The opening movie shows a group of Black arms being defeated by Sonic, Sonic is wounded.

All the SA2 skills are still around, the "Light Dash", the "Sumersault" and a new skill,. the wall kick, Shadow will run on the wall if you homing attack the wall. He can also grind and fight bare handed.

You are rewarded with a new weapon when you defeat an enemy, there are human weapons(Guns) and alien weapons(Lazers, and such) that you collect by pressing "B" on a weapon, it also has a set ammo you.

It's a fun new take on the SOnic style , But sonic playing second banana seems kinda alienating(he can't even use weapons like Shadow) Other characters like Knuckles and Tails aren't seen so far.

Anyway, are you sure Mari will allow this? she said another Shadow the hedgehog will get killed if she sees one.

Argh. sucks. I wish Nintendo would release yet another Demo disc based on the trial version of some of the E3 games >_>.

I am pretty sure this come out in Winter.

Well now the halo joke is over. I read this earlier and it sounds like it might not be horrible. I want to know how the chaos powers work because as they seem better to me then the guns.

I tried Chaos Control yesterday, pretty sweet, once you defeat enough Black Arms or Soldiers, the two gauges on the screen will fill, allowing use of the Chaos abilty, Working with Sonic(Destroying the Black Arms) will allow you to use Chaos Control, and Doom Eye grants a huge explosive ability.

So, similar to the team attack gauge in Heroes?

Sounds interesting so far... much better than it seemed initially.

I also like the idea of stealing the weapon, rather than Shadow just deciding that he needs a gun so he can be cool. :o

So I have to beat up the black arms to do the cool moves? *thinks* I can do that. Probally without a gun too. This may not be so bad anyway.

The gun isn't required, you can even homing attack while holding a gun, the gun actually helps a bit during the extremely hard first boss X_x

Sonic's Aura when doing a homing attack is orange now

Not "And" "OR" Retelling of the "Hero or Villian" schtick... though I consider Shadow a Hero... although an angsty and unstable one.
