If it helps at all, HBD is Hypophosphatemic Bone Disease. It is also called XLH, or X-Linked Hypophophatemia. Little is known about how it comes about or how to treat it, because it is inherent in the sufferer's genes. It is a form of rickets, and its symptoms can be mild or very severe. I suppose that Mamoru needed an operation to repair his abnormal bone structure, which is, I think, also what Saito/Hub died of.

Er... Aquaman x Roll pairing?... o_o;; Er... is not a 'couple' thing is it? Because I don't see how 'Aquaman' could be in a relationship with his train of thought. And please, wait till your first request is done before requesting again.

I'll see what I can do about Iceman x Medi, you gotta understand it's... not easy to put Iceman as a 'dominant' in a relationship when the train of thought I'm used of him is... well childish <_<;; I can manage something, just don't expect him to be a manly man either XD

Unless you'd like me to use the NT Warrior 'personality'. You'll have to be more especific in that sense, when I'm requested something I usually immediately go for the original anime personality XD

Could you write me a Miyuki and Skullman slash fic? Maybe with them talking as they take a walk in the park (well, with Miyuki walking and Skullman talking from his pet ^^;; ), and Skullman confesses that he loves her?

Do you realize that slash fanfic is exactly the same as yaoi? Therefore I don't see how I can slashify a Skullman x Miyuki fanfic, not to mention I cannot post that kind of fics on this forum XD

"We open our eyes one day, to greet the morning light, to greet a face we find familiar, yet we're unsure we've seen before. We wake up one morning, for the first time in our memories, we know we've been there long before, but we cannot remember... that day when we first greeted life."

Bubbleman sighed, repeating these words to himself softly, sitting by under the trees of the glorious virtual world of NetCity; as he closed the virtual book he was reading. A world filled with chatter, noise, life... and at the same time, solitude, loneliness.

Bubbleman had no memory of how his existance began. One day he just woke up, and he was laying on a dark alley in the busy town of NetCity. There was no image of what was before for him. All he knew was his name, but his origin remained a mystery to himself. Did he belong to someone? Did he have any friends? Eventually, Bubbleman understood that he was completely independant and that he had no friends.

Someone so small and deemed so worthless had no place, no saying on this virtual world. Nobody here cared about him, nobody cared about what could happen to him.

"S-Stop it! Leave me alone, Puku!"

Red blood eyes observed from the shadows as several trouble maker navis ran through the boundaries of the City, chasing the much smaller Bubbleman. The figure hidden in the shadows watched the scene some more, he could sense it, the navi was one of his kind.

Shademan pondered if to help the little navi or let him fend on his own. He seemed too new, so young and unexperienced, he needed some guidance. The Darkloid nodded to himself and stepped out of the shadows in time to slap one of the navis with a fully extended wing.

Bubbleman tripped and fell right to the tall navi's feet, so impressed and intimidated by the figure that didn't even bother trying to get up. All the smaller one could do was watch as the tall, bat-like figure extended his other arm, unfolding his other wing. Shademan glanced down to Bubbleman for a moment before spreading his wings...

"Crush Noise!" Bubbleman looked over his shoulder, watching the waves of sound created by the tall navi push the other navis far away, knocking them off and forcing them to log out.

Shademan let out a soft grunt of slight annoyance before steping back and retracting his wings. He watched the small aqua navi carefully, tilting his head slightly at the other.

"Who are you, de puku?..." Bubbleman tilted his head, slowly sitting up. He didn't feel scared of this stranger, in fact, he felt as if they were connected somehow.

After a brief silence, the tall figure bent forward, offering a clawded hand to the small navi.

"I'm someone like you..." Shademan spoke softly, never once his expression changed, "I'm a Darkloid, like you are. We have the same origin. Out there in this worl, there's others like us... come with me, and you'll never feel fear again."

Bubbleman slowly reached out, taking the hand the other offered him, allowing him to pull him up. So... this was it? There were others like him? Would he finally find a place to fit? He felt he could trust this navi, even though his dark and cold appearance, he could feel he could trust him.

The life among darkloids wasn't a piece of cake, but by far was much better than being completely alone in the streets of NetCity. With the darkloids he had at least a home to return to. At least with them he had someone that'd actually care to notice his presence.

Shademan wasn't warm nor he seemed to be very caring, but the small aqua navi knew that his leader would know if he was there, if he was sad or happy. Even with seemingly cold, apathetic words, Shademan always knew what to say to improve his mood. Bubbleman knew the Head of the Darkloids wasn't warm or affectionate, but in such a dark world, Shademan was the best friend any of them could ever have, deep down in greater or lesser degree, Shademan cared about all the darkloids at his command, and to Bubbleman, that was all that mattered.

Very good. You portrayed Bubbleman's loneliness very well. Shademan was perfect and its nice to learn how people think the darkloids came together. Out of the Shademan meets ......man fics this is the best one I've read.
