Actually Raijin, I think he was making reference to everyone's retarted assumption of:

"OMG! They're only showing 25 episodes of AXESS on WB!? That MUST automatically mean they're completely cutting out the Dark Protoman saga!! WAAAAAH!!"

...and yes, I seriously DO remember some people speculating about that. What he said was right Megaman 7, odds are we'll get a little episode break when they reach #25, and then most likely we'll get the rest around the middle of summer, though I could be wrong.

I got to see only the end of this episode today. I wasn't expecting them to COMPLETELY cut out Flashy's death, but I'm glad they're still keeping the whole "NAVIs are addicted to Dark Chips" thing now. also, I'm slowly starting to get used to Chaud's new voice, at least he's good at battle cries.

My guess is that next weekend will be Shademan's ambition, and the other person's assumption of them most likely showing "It's all how you look at it" right before "Bubbleman's Plan" will follow up to make sort of an Aquaman arc...thing...yeah.

Well I managed to make a list of edits in this episode although its posible I may have missed some well here we go

Blues aqua sword was blured as usual

The cut that desertman recived was blured blue in the opening of the cut

Enzan getting coffie was shortened

bambo sword was blured

first virus that was slashed in half had a greenblur in the middle of the part where it was cut

Blues aqua sword again is blured again

Instead of the blue doll apearing after the fake desertman disapered there was just nothing so there wasnt any indication of using kawirimi

battlechip program advance was changed to blaster, high blaster, mega blaster, zeta blaster instead of cannon, high cannon, mega cannon, zeta cannon

scene in the flashback when beastman was seperated after geting cut and blew up was cut

scene where the worker saw kifune and manabe being kidnaped was cut out

scene were there is a front view of desertman with flashmans arm blade in his head is cut out and showes flashman turning his arm blade braking a hole in desertmans head

Desertmans final words to flashman are shortened

back shot of needleman getting shot from the scope gun is cut out and in the front veiw of him getting shot the hole is replaced with a pink blur

dimensonal area scene shortened

bambo sword blured

elemental sword blured as well as the slash markes on flashman and were incressed in size

shademan elbowing flashman in the stomach is cutout and just shows flashman falling to the ground

Shademan preparing to jump at flashman and stabing him and al scenes involving that were cut out and just showedflashman and shademan face to face changed flashmans deltion to the fact that the dark chip killed him instead of shademan (isnt that funny lol)

Us Canadians just saw Friendship in the Mirror on Sunday, so I also noticed how they changed "LifeAura" back to "DreamAura", so yeah, inconsistency all around.

I also heard Chaud's new voice, and it actually sounds closer to the voice I've always had in my head for him, so I'm pretty satisfied.

So next week will be Gravityman, eh? That's the one voice I really want to sound awesome. I'm going to be stuck in anticipation. Whoever it was that offered to record voice clips for us, I'd like to request Gravityman for next week.

Die hard fans are always irked by the name changes in anything. It's only natural. But still, is it really so difficult or so costly to look into these things for the sake of consistency? Obviously people are going to care if you get a mistake.

Still it was enjoyable. But at the end I never thought Flashman was deleted. It was weird because I remembered that two navis were deleted in that episode and I only saw Desertman. With the cut, I never realised that Flashman had been deleted. That and at times the dialogue was too rushed. At least the rest was okay. And we saw Chaud's henshin sequence, which is nice.

Those purple spots make the darkloids look like lepers.

Todays episode was pretty good. I definately like Chaud's new voice actor. It beats his old one by a mile in my opinion. Of course there were edits here and there, but I am surprised they kept in as much as they did. So, again a good good dub overall, and I hope Shop Pro keeps the trend going.

Your wish is my command, Raijin. Provided I have a good reception, I'll post some GravityMan Sound for you, unless Kirb beats me to it. Razz

I'm a little mystified about the Cannon/Blaster deal. As an evil censor myself, I'm supposed to be able to point out the logic behind these actions. But I'm beyond stumped.

About the only theory I have is that the dubbers were trying to seperate the chips based upon how they were used. Since the Anime makers themselves can't decide how the chips are used, maybe the dubbers tried to seperate them into two different chips. 'Cannon' being the gun-turrent thing, 'Blaster' being the arm cannon. The PA is a gray area and so the chip use depends upon who's doing the actual writing. But that idea has so many holes that it could qualify for Swish Cheese.

Most likely it just depends upon who's working on the scripts. One guy uses one term but another uses the other.

And after today, I love Chaud's new VA.

I totally agree with you on this one, illusion. Chaud's new voice actor is 100x better! Nice job on the edit list, mysticgohan! Wink

Yea its easy to spot the edits when you play the japanese episode at the same time as the dub epsiode and its just a peice of cake from there ^_^. This episode was somthing I expected to be edited but at least the editing was so bad after all they probably didnt even have to show flashman stabing desertman and just show him using his flashbomb killing desertman. I give this episode :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: 7 out of 10 stonecubes.

Today wasn't bad. I must admit that I have to retract what I said about Chaud's new VA. Very nice.

It's nice that they keep the buried Public Service Announcement in the story. *a la Mr. Mackey* ...Darkchips are bad, m'kay?

Towards the end, it was clear that something was cut from ShadeMan's inspection of FlashMan at the end. Grabbing him was all too...sudden.

Overall, nothing that reeked. I am satisfied. R Blues action is a welcome change as well.

Manabe's dub name was Manuella?
0_o
At least they didn't give her a funny accent and a latin bgm like Ella from Sonic X....
X_x'

Today's ep felt weird near the end cutting off Shadesy putting Flashy out of his misery, but at least Desert Man got deleted and not just a shameful log out.

I liked today's episode, even though I'm not the world's biggest fan of Chaud or Protoman. But after today, I like them a teeny bit better ^^ And that Cross Fusion sequence certainly didn't hurt ;P. For some reason, I thought it was a nice touch that Chaud's baggier clothes got wrapped closer to his body before the boots and gloves came on. I don't really know why, but I do. And the actual sequence was cool, I thought ^^

Desertman creeps me out worse than Flameman (and that Navi CREEPS ME OUT) so I wasn't sad to see him get deleted. I almost felt sorry for him though, getting corroded from the inside out by the Dark Chips.

.....Almost.

Now, is it just me, or did both Flashman and Lan sound a little different? I know their same VA's were in place, but they just sounded....different to me, like the actors were having a day off, or something...*shrugs*

Whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA!. 100% better? I wouldn't go that far. He is as good, I'd even go so far as to say marginally better than Bill Switzer, but Bill did a really good job and I don't think this new guy blows him a way that much.

Still I like him.

Mystic Gohan, you watched the Japanese one side by side with the dub? That sounds pretty silly. You people tend to be so critical of the dub, you're too busy looking for continuity errors. I'm sure everyone would enjoy them more if they stopped worrying about how different they are from the original. But that's just me.

Roll Soul- I wouldn't have known that or not, but Flashy and Lan sounded just fien when I got home in time to see the end o_O

Metal Shark-I guess they were allowd to give those two characters new names since they weren't already named in the video games. But hey, at least Misaki kept his name, and their new ones aren't THAT much different from the formers.

Metal Soul- You'll be seeing a lot of cases like that from here on out I;m afraid :<

Blazequest- As nice and matue as that would be, practically NOBODY on this forum is willing to do that...
