I just thought....What if they made a game called Rockman.exe Online (no pun intended)/Megaman Battle Network online? That would be soooooooo awsome. They already have the DS online thing being made and stuff so they're is no way they couldn't attempt to make a EXE game for it. you could trade chips and battle and all that kind of stuff while also running around a net where you can meet people all over the world! *sigh* A man can dream cant he? _________________ Tsk tsk tsk

This idea's existed since like MMBN1... I doubt it'll ever happen. Perhaps an online netbattle feature, but beyond that nothing.
'sides the lag would kill the fast-paced action anyway... |

I would find it annoying I will be awake and my friends will be in bed my friends will be awake and I am in bed its annoying because of time zones and if they did that the Japanese would get a major head start. _________________ ~Come to Spriting Haven~ |

The Japanese always have a headstart... I'm sure you could find someone to play with if it were to happen, even though it probably won't. |

It could be done. But it won't, or atleast in my lifetime, or in the next 5 years. Sorry. _________________

DS will be online soon enough, so the DS EXE will most likely be able to play over the net. _________________

What happens to the game has nothing to do with Nintendo. All the online services that Nintendo is providing (for free that is) is for the games THEY make. Whether or not a online supported Rockman game will come into existence is Capcom's decision.
And before you ask, whether or not we have to pay to play one of the DS games over the internet that was made from someone other than Nintendo, that's their decision too.

The heck are you talking about? If you're talking about VBALink, it hasn't been perfected yet. All players have to have good computers (to make sure there's no lag created by the machine) and really good internet connections (as GBA links itself demand quite a lot over the link cable). _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. Why are you two discussing the capabilities of an illegal program on a forum which outlaws talking about them? :P
In any case, Capcom doesn't look as to be releasing online play for any of its games any time soon. What I'd really want would be an EXE MMORPG, but...eh <<;

I think that a .EXE MMORPG would be a great thing. If it actually had a world like matrix online and had an RPG battle style it would be great as a console game. |

EXE's battle system is a big part of what makes it great, IMO. It needs no change.
That said, and for that reason I do not like the idea of an MMORPG type MMBN game. I'd rather they just allow trading/netbattles online 1 on 1 style. |

I think an MMORPG would be awesome.
I wonder how they would do it, though. My idea is to utilize that internet adapter coming out for the DS, but make it not so hard on your bandwidth (if that's even possible.)
Another method is to require a connection speed of over a certain speed, like minimum 56k or DSL. |

or they could put it on Nintendo Revolution. that's supposed to have online capabilities, right? they could probably enhance the graphics etc. and make it online. _________________ just call me xfyre. not xfyrethespooky. |

Not all MMORPGs have to have the same kind of battle system. They could easily incorperate the regular battle style into an MMORPG. _________________

Geh? Discussing? I was simply trying to find out what the heck he was talking about. The grammar he used rendered it impossible to understand. I won't start up a debate about the legality of emulation programs and I apologize for any misconception or offense taken. If you want, I could edit that blurb in my last post. _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. The only difference is that you don't get weird looks for talking to them. |
