It's aawesome that Rockman ruled the box office. If it's good enough to get Moving Castle down to 8, then it would have to be a great movie!!

Actually, anime MOVIES even those that are brought here my crappy dubbing companies actually stay much truer to their originals than their butchered tv show counterparts. The Pokemon movies, while all dubbed by 4Kids, were indeed PHENOMINAL, and the YGO movie was also very good, especially since 4Kids ended up maing fun of themselves a lot XD

Plus, Shopro did a kickass job on the first two Inuyasha movies, so I think that the movie might actually be pretty good here in the US! Movie can get away with a lot more on the big screen and DVD than a tv show can on daytime television.

Viz should get more credit with Inu-Yasha than ShoPro should. IMO, Inu-Yasha is dubbed poorly. The only reason it is semi good is because it is uncut. When the Rockman.EXE movie comes out here there is no doupt it will be editted.

Not everyline. I'm certan that the tech names are changed. And I still don't get what was the deal with calling the Backlash wave the Bacriuha (It's japense name. And no I can't spell it) and then changing it back to the backlash wave. I mean what's the point of saying it's japenese name just once if your going to change it again???

Come back and tell me that after they pronounce Shippou's name correctly and they stop stating the obvious =).

Even if it gets brought over here, it probably won't make it for 2 years. Especially since Axess looks like it will take forever here... It's already repeating, which is sad, in my opinion.

Anyway, I hope they don't take long for a DVD release! Now I'm dying to see it =P.

According to my friends who work at Funimation, ShoPro is one of the worst companies when it comes to dubbing. Their main fault is that when they dub, they do not watch the original versions. This is mainly how we get mangled name pronounciations. (I've heard all the groaning about the upcoming ShoPro release of Naruto, many anime companies are pissed that they took their own liscensed show to produce, instead of putting it up for bid.)

Other than the bad name pronounciations, I believe Ocean Group has one of the most talented cast of voice actors in the anime community. The same can be said for Funimation's cast, whom I know take their job very seriously.

With all the griping about the dub of Rockman, we forget that the original version isn't being kept away in some locked cel, forbidden for all eternity. #WPP is still subbing it, and the raws aren't too hard to track down past that. If you don't like the dub, don't watch it. Leave everyone else some piece of mind and quit complaining.

Back on topic now, please.

Kay.

Is there any set release date for the DVD? Or is it still TBA? I would suspect later summer, although I have nothing to base it on >.>;.

THANK YOU RYOUKO.

And this just in, "stating the obvious" is in just about EVERY anime in existence, INCLUDING the rockman series (even in Japanese) in case none of you knew that...

And the attack names and demon tribe names from Inuyasha are also directly translated. I'm done now.

I can't wait to see this movie. It sounds extreamly interesting. I'm glad that Forte finally took off his cloak. I never get tired of seeing his bodysuit.

1. How long is the RockMan EXE movie?
Nevermind, I just noticed it was on the first page, at a measly 45 mins.

2. What is it about?
3. What navis are in it?
4. WTF IS THERE A DUEL MASTERS MOVIE??

Figures, can't have Nebula Grey without the head of Nebula as well. I wonder how they plan on explaining his retconned death...

[spoil:49eeba8a15]Mad scientists are like cockroaches; they can servive ANYTHING. That said, what makes you think they're going to even bother explaining how he came back?

That, and it seems that nobody has given thought to the possibility that the movie might be out of continuity as well.[/spoil:49eeba8a15]

On another note, I don't see why people throw a hissy fit every time an English speaking voice actor mispronounces a Japanese word, when Japanese voice actors mispronounce English words all the time, and they don't even bat and eyelid.

I'm guessing that it won't take very long for it to come out on DVD. Movies come out faster all the time now, I give this movie about 3 months or so and we'll be able to see it :3
